Same here. I can't smell certain things (like coffee) since having COVID in February 2021. Some things have a metallic smell and sometimes metallic taste (bagged salad, Sprite). Very strange.
My last game was in 2016, also against Illinois, someone was kind enough to post a pregame itinerary that included watching the drumline and tips for where to walk around. If anyone has suggestions for us flying in from the west coast, it would be very much appreciated.

Hopefully our redeye gets in on time Saturday morning.
A quick check of SoCal schools, I found it's also not accurate. Corona Centennial has 2 players (Camryn Bynum from the Vikings and JJ Taylor from the Patriots) listed under Compton Centennial.
Since this began in March, as a family we’ve spent ‘happy hour’ going through tournament brackets of bands to decide (family votes) the band’s best song, or our favorite song.
Started with The Head and the Heart, then Dave Matthews Band, finished Twenty One Pilots, and beginning the Beatles bracket tonight. It’s been a lot of fun.
For DMB I created the field of 64 songs on a blank bracket and sent it to some buddies who did it with their families too.
My son made the TOP bracket with 32 songs.
There are a lot of Beatles 64 song brackets already available online. Looking forward to it.
Might be too far to travel, but have you tried Hi Time Wine Cellar in Costa Mesa? They always seem to have the biggest Bells selection out here. My second suggestion would be El Cerrito Liquor in Corona. Good luck!

Mention ketchup and it's ANGER from like 2 people who think they know what the majority of the country hasn't figured out. I've never understood it.
The 'no ketchup on a dog' group is so loud and angry. They're like the little brother of condiment consumption.

So we've hired the head coaches of 2 top 25 teams in the nation, year in and year out. According to Calpreps.com, last year St. Edwards finished #3, and Paramus, #24.

I too have an obsession with the school I never attended and a connection to a town I've been to only a handful of times. I rarely post because I feel those "more connected" should be doing that.
It's hard to explain to people how going to the Big House at the age of 5 will shape a kid's fandom. It's also hard to explain that despite going to Arizona State, I've been to more Michigan games than Sun Devil games. So I wear Michigan gear, win or lose, but hate the enivitable quesion, "Did you go to Michigan?" Thanks again for posting. Go Blue!
I'm thankful the conference will be realigned. The thought of the 2 point play not mattering because Michigan / Ohio St. II in Indy this week would suck. So would Auburn playing Bama again Saturday in Atlanta.

For my $, I think Mike Tomlin would make the worlds best college coach. I don't think he's close to leaving Pittsburgh, but I think he'd be amazing in the college ranks.
I said the same thing in OT vs. PSU. Just attempt the damn FG on first down if you have no intention of moving the ball. Why risk a turnover? It's not like the clock mattered at that point.
I too am involved with HS football. Our OC seems so much more advanced as a gameplanner and game caller/adjuster than Borges. It's embarrassing.
California resident here; I drove through Ann Arbor last week on my way to Glen Arbor for a family reunion. I was so impressed with Frita Batidos we hit it on the way back too. I had the chirizo frita round 1 and the fish the second time both with tropical slaw. Oberon to wash it down. Seriously one of my favorite lunch stops.
Awesome act of class and sportsmanship. It can't ever be a good time to say goodbye to your dad, but it's gotta be very tough dealing with that while in high school. Sorry to hear that.
I put in a new rule this year for my work league. If you beat someone by 50 pts. you get to rename their team for the upcoming week. We'll see how that goes...

I love the idea of comparing kids from different classes. I wish, instead of projecting '16 kids they'd compare '13, '14 & '15 kids.
