This is not necessarily true.

This is not necessarily true.  The PS3 was more powerful than the Xbox 360, yet it didn't run appreciably better with any of the multiplatform games.

I have the Xbox One, and I

I have the Xbox One, and I personally love it.

But, since you say you're already leaning towards PS4, then you should probably go with your gut.

Nuclear Engineer here:

Nuclear Energy Institute (@N_E_I), Nuclear Regulatory Commission (@NRCgov), Nuclear News (@nuclearnewsbot), American Nuclear Society (@ans_org), NuclearStreet.com (@NuclearStreet - more helpful for jobs, etc. than some of the others).

Seems more reasonable than

Seems more reasonable than saying they won't be awful.

Don't get me wrong, I love me some Lions football, but I'd be hard pressed to say the Lions aren't likely to be the 4th team in the NFC North again.

Section where not Brian predicts the same thing Kenpom does:

Louisville by 5.

There, it is done.

We need a "Section where you

We need a "Section where you predict the same thing Kenpom does".  Because, seriously.

Welp,

Seems like it was just a kid trying to be funny that didn't think about how his appearance would make it seem like a threat.

As an atheist, I'm not sure I

As an atheist, I'm not sure I agree.

I see your point: the mere mention of religion, like politics, can cause some unseemly behavior on the board.  I freely confess, I came here to see if the post was overtly religious and to comment if needed.

However, the tone of this post does not seem to be inflammatory or overtly religious enough to require removal.  To me, the post is more about trading MGoBlog for The Bachelor/Grey's Anatomy and a "goodbye" from LordVoldemort.  I'm ok with live and let live in this case, but I do agree that it is better to be more restrictive (to prevent harrassment) than not.

I would take the big guy as a

I would take the big guy as a fullback.  He's a lineman who has a little extraburst.

Whereas I love the music.

Whereas I love the music.  But to each their own, I suppose.

Ahh, crap.

In my haste, I somehow mistook RVB for Molk.  I'll go watch several games and interviews as pennance.

Well done.

My favorite part: Molk at 09:15 telling Denard, "You just became a legend."

Damn straight.

Perhaps, but

I do believe we once said such things about a certain Mr. Kovacs.  I'm not suggesting he is/will be that good, but anything is possible.

Yes.

Yes.

Cut short due to knee
Cut short due to knee injury

Take an arrow to the knee?

And pray the moon isn't full.

And pray the moon isn't full.

Um...

EDIT: I'm a dumb. Disregard.

Slight difference:

Strong/Good Christian does not always equal Good Person.  There are plenty of child molesters, rapists, murders, thieves and just general a-holes that go to church every Sunday.

Because three 5* OL

is 300% more awesome.

No.

No.  If he wants to "spread the faith" while on a mission trip or something like that, he has every right to because he's there to talk religion.  If he's on National TV, he needs to keep it to himself.  He's not there because of what he does/does not believe, he's there to play and talk football.

Religion is like a penis.  It's fine to have one.  It's fine to be proud of it.  But don't whip it out in public and try to shove it down my throat.

I'm surprised

he hasn't already been hired at USC.

I think this has been going

I think this has been going on for a while here.  Not terribly sure when it started, but for as long as I was on the waiting list, you had to donate at least $100 to get the endzone seats, $1000 (I think) for the "outer" sideline and even more for between the 40s.

But, so far we've still been selling out and filling it up.

Wait:
I'm form Ohio
For those of you who keep posting that Spartan fan has an inferiority complex I just don't see it.
Perhaps these two are connected...

I resemble that remark...

There needs to be an "awesome" mod option.

I believe you meant

they certainly increase the margin for error for the offense vs. past years, meaning they have more room for error before it irreparably damages the team's ability to win the game (more margin = better).

That being said, I completely agree.  This team seems to respond much better to their own errors.

If the defense moves fast

If the defense moves fast enough it shouldn't be a problem, assuming the offense moves more than 1 man.  If they do, the offense has to "set" for at least 1 second, giving the defense additional time to get into position.

The way I've seen it in the past is the D-line shift move to the strong-side (shift rather than fire-drill) and the weakside OLB move up towards the line, giving him greater leverage to maintain contain if the play is a ran towards the weak side.  But that's obviously not how our coaches prefer it be done.

That

and more Denard to Hemingway jump balls, please.  The fade: she will be open.

I don't think OU is ever

I don't think OU is ever going to be an option.  Academics and all that (which is only moderately dishonest, it's all about money and the AAU).   This is why I think Kansas is a more realistic (and thus better) option.

If I have to pick 4:

ND

Mizzou

Kansas

Texas/Rutgers (only because we apparently can't have Pitt)

In that order.  But honestly, I'm not so sure expansion is a good thing.  I guess only time will tell.

Err...

what?

[crosses fingers]

Playoff time?

I'll take

door number 2. Let the hilarity ensue.

It's interesting

to see that RR's percentages were roughly the same as Lloyd's. Well done.

Dude. Obligatory MGoDroid double-post.
Dude.

Chill. No need to insult a fellow mgoblogger for his choice to see the movie tonight. He asked a question with a slant of humor in it.

Relax, you and your "manliness" can see it or not whenever you want.

Definitely OT

I just got done watching #7 part 1. The local AMC is doing a double-feature.

No, but you can mess with the Head Coach's prestige and such now. So you can make him an a-hole and a fool, but you unfortunately can't hurt the school.

Perhaps you could demote TSIO to the Sunbelt...

Wow

you have a ton of responses already. That being said, [email protected].

Much thanks, good sir/madam!

Shenanigans

I invoke the age-old rule of everything: pics, or it didn't happen.

No, it's more like saying, "Mussolini was a fascist dictator, but at least he wasn't like Hitler."

Also a Lions fan.

I agree with Peterson or Prince, but I disagree with the O-lineman. There isn't really a Jake Long in this draft, so a lineman should be picked in the 2nd/3rd round. If we cant get one of the top 2 corners, we should get a stud DE. DaQuan (sp?) Bowers would be a gamble, but if that knee is healthy he would be a fantastic compliment to Suh.

Suberbowl...

Hey didn't they have something called a Superbowl in Detroit a while back? I can't be 100% sure though, I seem to have lost the ability to remember NFL football before 2009...

Errr...

Wut?

You can't be too surprised.

<insert idiot Buckeye joke here>

In all seriousness, what did you expect? We've long known that a portion of that fanbase is three hairs away from being baboons. This behavior falls right in line with the rest of the data.

It's far too early

for us to be looking too closely at Sophomores. Recruiting of current HS Juniors just got into full swing not too long ago.

If he's really that good, then I trust the coaching staff to evaluate/offer/etc. when the time is right.

This.

Super Bowl is great and all,

Super Bowl is great and all, but it just doesn't have the drama of a 7 game series.

Agreed.  However, the Stanley Cup playoffs are much more interesting, IME.  No sport has a longer or more grueling path to the Championship than the NHL.  Which is why it's awesome.

As a Michigan Nuclear As a Michigan Nuclear Engineer, I love this kid. Tom, please tell him that not only is th College of Engineering awesome, but the Nuclear Engineering and Radiological Sciences department consistently ranks among the best Nuclear Engineering departments in the country.
I also have a Droid X

Apps I use frequently:

- Yelp (free) - find places to eat, gas stations, banks, etc.  Great way to find something you need or a place to go no matter where you are.

- Google Voice (free) - it transcribes your voicemails into email-type messages so you can check your voicemail at work (or somewhere loud) without having to be "on" your phone.

- Checkbook (free, or not if you want additional functionality) - a great way to keep track of your finances.

- Kindle (free) - books, right on your phone.  Works great and there is a good selection.

- Google Navigation (free) - I don't remember if this one is standard or not.  You won't need a separate GPS anymore.

- Weatherbug (free) - gives you weather info in your status bar

- Alchemy (free) - fun and challenging game.

- ChompSMS (free) - replaces the text messages - it has a pop-up feature that allows you to quickly answer texts without having to exit the app you're using)

- Dolphin HD (free) - internet browser.  personally I like it better than the basic browser)

- Google goggles (free) - take pictures and it searches for info on what you're looking at - can identify landmarks, etc.)

- My Tracks by Google (free) - useful for runners or bikers - tracks your trip and gives you time, speed, elevation change, etc. using GPS)

- Where's My Droid (free i think) - helps you find your phone if lost - have someone text "where's my droid" to you and it turns on the volume all the way up and rings until you find it (or for 30 sec)

For additional games I recommend Angry Birds, X Construct, and Slice It.

Enjoy your Droid X, I've had mine since August and I love it.
