Piss...

off Tater ya goofy fuck. I ever catch you talkin' to my kid kid like that you're next ya pennsylvania hillbilly. There's a time to coach and there's a time to ream...just not in front of the camera. If Bo was like that then shame on him too. Helicopter parent...you just let me know the time and the place...I'll show you a helicopter parent ya goofy bastard!

If my...

kid was good enough to play at a top tier program, such as ND, I would advise him not to play for Kelly. That s.o.b. totally lost it with his kids during that loss and if you look at the kids surrounding the s.o.b. during his outbursts of pure rage they didn't know how to act around him. If you get people around you, close to you, walking on egg shells then you're doomed. Kelly is on his way to losing the trust and the 'wanting to play all out for the coach' mentality of his kids. Kelly showed a side of himself to the football world that he truly is a fuckin' wack job. Besides, if he were to get on my boy like that I'd go up there and whoop his psycho ass myself! I hope Brady and our boys wear their asses out this weekend...Go Blue!

Michigan...

will win this game. Brady and Greg Mattison will have the defense fired up, like times of old, and they will teach those golden domer s.o.b.'s what it's like to play against a defense that won't take no shit from anybody! Al will have Denard throwin' the rock all over the big house and we will (U of M fans) be very happy when we turn in for the night. After that, look out Nebraska, you just might get a cob shoved where the sun ain't shinin'...hee hee:) Bo Pelini...what a frickin' psycho!

Hey, did anyone see...

that high school game between Colerain, OH and Cocoa, FL today on ESPN? I kept hearing a kids name being called over and over again and that young man was none other than our commit Joe Bolden LB. Trust me, Joe has the skills to tear up some people. I like to see guys like Bolden coming to Ann Arbor:)

Hey...

Barnett probably realized that he didn't have what it took to meet the new Man Ball standards that are being put in place. If you're 30-40 pounds overweight and you walk into camp where you are expected to kick a little hiney...then only to find out your couch potato ways have caught up with your ass and the guys around you are kickin' the shit out of ya on every play...well, I can see why he left the team. See ya Arkansas 'fatty'...drama queen...please! We don't need any drama, we just need to kick the crap out of OSU this year for cryin' out loud. 2000+ days since we won...'F' that!

@ JakeinVeniceFL

I sure frickin' hope so. Jesus, a 280 pound tight end for christ's sake. See ya...'fatty' (Barnett)! By the way...Go 45-year-olds!

Let us hope...

our boys kick some ass this weekend because it will definitely hush the RR haters. When a coach has his players thinking of the 'Team' and giving it their 'all' on every play, then the coach is doing his job. RR is doing just that. These boys play hard every game, they might not look like they know what they're doing at times, but they play hard and that is all you can ask for. The future is so bright (for the Wolverines) the players will have to wear shades...

Sweeeeeeeet!

I like the part when Keith Jackson says..."and he just deflates him (Kirk Dickheadstreet or Kirk Smokin' Herb walkin' down the street) completely...". You gotta believe that deep-down, the fuckin' guy can't stand the Wolverines. Oh well, fuck that bucknut...his comments don't mean a thing to me.

Speaking of...

Dave Brandon. I think if he is going to keep RR he needs to let it be known...and soon. We have potential recruits sitting on the fence right now and if they feel RR won't be here next year they'll opt for somewhere else. DB needs to put an end to any speculation about RR being around next year. The guy can coach and he's a pretty damn good recruiter, unlike our last coach who didn't even make a recruiting trip his last few years in office (or so I'm told). Society is so predicated on the 'now'..."We want it now! Goddammit!"...so time is running out for RR, but I hope he's kept around because I see good things happening in AA in the years to come. The 'D' will improve, along with the 'O', and we'll be singin' The Victors after a win over tOSU before we know it. GO BLUE!

Maybe...

you should root for Wiscy instead. Maybe we can get Adrian Peterson to run the rock for us. Maybe we can bring Brady back so we don't have any more errant throws. Maybe we can get Des Howard back so we don't drop any more passes. Maybe we can bring the Bears 'D' from the 1985 season to come and play for us. Maybe we can bring in Adam Vinatierre so we don't miss any more field goals. Would that make you happy? I read your post and I'm left muttering to myself "Blah...Blah...Blah." Jesus...get real fella...

10-4 brother...

RR will be around for awhile so the 'haters' better get used to it. They better hope I'm not drivin' the bus 'cause we might see some flattened body parts if you know what I mean...

You need...

a reality check pal. Check out Brandstatter's post on his website...he's spot on. By the way...4 quarters at 15 minutes a piece is one hour of playing time...dumb ass. I know the games last 3 to 4 hours. We all want the team to win...every damn game if they could...but to knock our boys' toughness and grit? I don't see a lack of it and haven't all season for that matter. Our program is moving in the right direction, it just takes time for our kids to learn and get physically bigger before we can go toe-to-toe with the likes of Wiscy's hogs. Oh,  and sorry for the 'dumb ass' remark... no offense JFW.

I beg to differ...

Rich will be around next season, G. Robinson too, and the program is moving in the right direction. The boys blew their feet off in the first half, but they did manage to outscore Wiscy's hogs in the second half. If we could make a damn FG we would've cut their lead to 7 points when it was W-31 and the good guys 21, which might have changed the complexion of the game. We almost got 'Big Mo' on our side but couldn't quite get him to bite. Rich made an impact in that locker room at the half and it showed. Mr. Brandon is an ex-baller and he knows what the hell is going on with this team and if he can't see the bright future ahead of us then he needs to take the blinders off. Besides, who gives a rats' ass what people outside the program think. As long as we do the 'right' thing, show some class, and have our hearts in the 'right' place then it doesn't matter what people think or perceive. Besides, Mr. Brandon is working on marketing the team or brand better so I don't see perception of others being an issue. Our school, football program, etc., will be marketed in a positive light. All I know is RR has the boys competing hard for an hour every game, there's no quit in this bunch. Coach has a team, not a bunch of selfish "I's", and it shows. My grandmother has been a big donator for over 50 years and she likes what she's seeing...she'll keep on donatin'. As for recruits...we'll get 'em (the good ones) because they'll see a chance to come in and play right away. Just my opinion Kilgore Trout, not that it matters to anyone...

I agree...

with the 'meat head' part. I say if that sob goes for two and they're up big when he does, then we ought to wring his beefy 'meat-headed' neck. Damn 'meat-headed' pickle squeezer!

God love ya 'joeyb'...

good find ol' boy. Poor Tolzien...nobody loves him...awwww! I can hear coach RR muttering..."Everybody wants to be liked...someone go give the kid a high-five or something..."

Amen brother...

Happy Thanksgiving to you and I too hope to be able to tell all the doubters to go stick a turkey leg where the sun don't shine...

Nice finds jhackney...

Nice...I love the spirit here...I too hope we rip their fuckin' heads clean off...not literally of course...but figuratively speaking. Go get 'em boys!

C'mon now...

Have ye no faith? I hope your TQ budget gets sapped for the opposite reason. You know...like, say we win out and you end up buying everyone in the house a celebratory shot of TQ? Sounds like a great reason to celebrate to me. Go Blue!

I agree...

Brian, when you wrote:

Desperate need to win level: 8 (Baseline 5; +1 for Rich Rodriguez Job Reclamation Project, +1 for Locking In Genuinely Decent Season Given Everything, Exceeding Expectations, Getting Everyone To STFU About Rich Rodriguez, +1 for Seriously, The Getting Everyone To STFU Bit Cannot Be Overstated, +1 for STFU Already, –1 for This Is Not Really A Game Michigan Should Win, –1 for Expectations Basically Achieved, +1 for But Man It Would Be Nice)

was fuckin' spot-on my friend. Best part of the piece IMO. However, I'm siding with the ol' bronxblue in this one. I think we'll finally see, not a polished version mind you, a game where the boys put it all together. I think the 'O' will protect the ball and put up quite a few points, the 'D' will make quite a few nice plays, and the specials will hold their own. I think we'll do better than just an 'EP'...45-31...Go get 'em Wolverines!

I agree...put Marvin in

I agree...put Marvin in there. He will be a stud one day in the future and the sooner the better...get the kid some time back there.

It doesn't really...

matter. Here's something to take your mind off any 'links'...

24. (NR) Dr. Phillips (Orlando, Fla.), 9-0

Dr. Phillips set a state record for points scored in the regular season by a 6A team in its 56-13 route of Freedom (Orlando), highlighted by Demetrius Hart's 232 yards and three scores. On the season, the Panthers have scored 473 points and allowed a mere 61.

Yep, that's right. That ol' Hart fella signed with us not long ago...yippeeeeee! Go Blue!

Don't know if you all...

have heard yet but Dallas Crawford, the CB from Ft. Myers, just gave us a verbal commit yesterday. Things are starting to shape up nicely in the recruiting department. Go Blue!

No...

I say we get McGuffie back, Dee is just pitiful out there...lol.

Oh, he'll be up for it...

There's a small private school in Miami (St. Thomas Aquinas - 2A) that is ranked near, if not the top of the National High School ranks right now so don't let Jones' school (size, private vs. public) fool you. This kid will be putting smiles on our faces before we know it...he's an animal out there!

You wouldn't...

be buying that rum in Antigua would you? If you are, great, that makes four Wolverines down here that I'm aware of. Go Blue!!!

Hot Damn!!!

The boys pulled one off! It's a great day to be a Wolverine!

I can...

honestly say that I have never seen our D look this putrid in the past 40 years. We stopped PSU once in the first half...once goddammit! PSU was 9 for 37 on 3rd down conversions coming into this game. Way to improve their stats D...just shoot me and end this misery. How the fuck does OSU recruit the talent they get? How are we missing the goddamn boat? Jesus...we suck!

I just...

want to puke...fuck me!

Yeah...

no shit. All the RR haters out there need to go 'F' themselves...cock suckers! Better yet, they should move to Ohio if they don't like where the program is heading. Or, maybe they can move to East Lansing and go around assaulting people and stealing computer equipment with the rest of the football team. Did I say Dantonio was a dick?

Boy...

after reading this Wikipedia entry about Gerg one can only come to the conclusion that he really must suck at defensive co-ordinatin'. Give the guy a break already...Dr. Suess, er Steve.

yep...

they're a real bitch aren't they?

yep...

and hairy palms too!

1) who's mad?

2) I know he's got talent, otherwise we wouldn't have offered, 3) thanks for confirming the team he plays for isn't very good, 4) I didn't knock his work ethic, 5) if his feelings were hurt because we offered someone else as well, then he's playing the wrong sport and should go back to kicking that damn soccer ball around, 6) if he was 'all in' then he wouldn't worry about another offer would he?, 7) you don't just take who you want, 8) if we needed a TE then we'd recruit one, 9) I hope he has a great future with Michigan and I hope to someday cheer for him as well, 10) I'd be willing to bet all the kids we recruit are so called 'blue chippers'.

Being hard...

is your opinion and I respect that but I'm being realistic about his situation. I'd have to disagree with your "slow playing him" comment because we made the kid an offer and besides, who knows how often the coaches are talking with this kid? About his family...you sound like you know what his family makes a year so unless you actually know what his family income is then you're making an assumption.

"My commitment to Michigan is the same as their commitment to me. I want to be their guy but I was also told that they are going after another quarterback. "

This comment to me sounds kind of arrogant coming from Sousa especially when he hasn't even made it to campus yet. Does he think he'll come to Ann Arbor and beat out the QB's we already have? Sometimes being hard on an individual will give them a 'wake-up' call, especially someone who has an unrealistic attitude. "I'm not going to Michigan because they also offered a scholarship to another QB"...boo hoo hoo...get over it kid and come up here and compete for the job. The starting QB job at Michigan is earned, not a given. Get real...the kid has an opportunity to get his degree from Michigan but since we made another offer he's thinking about going to school in TN. The only school in TN that has academics comparable to U of M's is Vandy and they haven't offered. These kids must realize that only a select few go on to make the big bucks in the NFL so a degree in the hand from U of M is better than two MTSU degrees in the bush. No offense to all the MTSU alums reading this post (if there are any who do so).

You answered your...

own question for me by saying "BSU might have an easier road in the WAC." Of course the WAC doesn't stack up to the BT or SEC and that is why I said they wouldn't be where they are right now...meaning ranked so highly in the poles. Your comparison is good stuff and I know BSU could compete in the BT or SEC but do you honestly think they (BSU) would be ranked so highly like they've been the past three years if they had to endure what the teams in the BT and SEC go through year after year? C'mon man! Get real...

I agree...

especially after reading his comments. One, I don't think he'll be a big loss unless, with him being a soccer player, he can kick field goals for pete's sake! Two, enjoy that Middle Tennessee State degree young man. Besides, he should feel right at home playing for MTSU when they get their asses handed to them every weekend...just like the high school team he plays for now. Once again, no big loss there...

If Boise...

were in the Big Ten or SEC they would not be where they are right now. I just wish we could go to a playoff system and shit can all this BCS bullshit. The fact that the NCAA has a playoff system for every divisional sport except for D1 football shows the NCAA has sold their soul to the devil. The big bowl locations can still have a game at their stadium...just make it a playoff game instead. Sometimes old traditions really fuck things up...IMO.

I think,

barring any serious injuries of course, that we'll be watching Kellen on Sunday's in the future. This kid is going to be great...you'll see.

Dee Hart (Barry Sanders Jr.)...

would you please persuade some of your classmates to sign with Michigan...we need them badly. I just can't wait for the day when we whip Tressel's ass...and hopefully it's in the 'Shoe'. By the way, I don't miss Pryor one bit and when he ends up working for Mickey D's (because his arm sucks and the NFL won't have him) maybe he'll look at that OSU diploma and say to himself..."What the hell was I thinking?" Go Blue!

FL/OL Tony Posada...

is starting to worry me a bit. I read where he is having knee trouble and had to sit out the game last weekend...not good. When the knees start to go before you even make it to college is not something to look forward to...

Kellen Jones...

is a bad dude. We will have one heck of a linebacker when this kid arrives. He flies around the field with reckless abandon and isn't afraid to smash a guy in the mouth. He claims he doesn't like trash talk and if he hears trash talk you'd better look out 'cause he's comin' after you! Good stuff...picking up a great athlete at LB with a nasty attitude to boot. Plus, his mom stays after him about his studies so we won't have to worry about him not making the team because of his grades.

Those dog-gone...

chastity belts are a real bitch aren't they?

Yeah...

and if we had a guy who kick the ball worth a damn we wouldn't have to worry about bone-headed plays like that now would we? Bottom line...the guy can coach (offense that is), but I wonder sometimes about our defensive coaches. More specifically...GERG???

I don't care...

what the boys wear, just as long as we win the damn game! Go Blue!

Let us hope...

that is the case. I'm ready to put this "Get rid of Rodriguez" mentality to rest. The guy can coach and I believe once we get some help on defense we'll be pretty damn hard to beat in a few years. Remember, Bo turned out to be one of the best, if not THE best, coach we've ever had in Ann Arbor and that firey ol' boy was from Ohio for God's sake! Rich will work out great for U of M...he just needs more time...you'll see.

Shoot...

by the time Saban puts all the guys he has now on a medical scholarship he'll have a completely new team by then...frickin' cheatin' bastard!

Yep...

and play Ohio State an extra time during the 'bye' week just to make sure that we make a statement by golly. Shit, throw in Auburn just for the hell of it...Go Blue!

Isn't that just...

great! We signed Barry Sanders Jr. to come up here and raise a bunch of hell throughout the Big Ten (12). Way to go coaches! You guys just keep on signin' 'em and we'll just keep on cheerin' for 'em all the way to another National Championship! Go Blue!

Oh...

you're good...you're good! I thought it was because RR was going to move them to DB once they got to AA, but I like your hypothesis much better...

Good...

so let's make sure he takes a nice warm bath in that shit every night while he's up in AA. That's what we need...a big, fast, and athletic DT who can fill those run gaps during the game. I hope our defensive guys read this because you'll notice I said during the game (remember Sparty's gashes last saturday?). It's one thing to do that in practice but dammit boys...let's start doing that this weekend against them Hawkfucks or eyes or whatever the hell they call their damn selves!
