1 year 40 weeks ago	You know you all should feel extremely lucky	at least you guys are able to meet and greet two possible nfl players. Not to mention two great young men who i would not blink an eye to get up at 530 in the morning to meet. It just so happens that the fan day in my town is a bit lower scale. Yeah North Dakota State lol and while i am a fan of the ndsu it is olny because they tend to be the underdog all the time. And i live 5 blocks from campus and the fargodome. I would give anything to be there i plan on coming for the sdsu game but that is my highlight of the year. As i love all things maize and blue to the point when they lose on a saturday my week is usually ruined. I envy all of you but i made the boneheaded decision to move here for economy and job, while it was not a bad move i do miss occasions such as these. I know i probably repeated myself a lot but i cant help but cringe on this thread.

1 year 40 weeks ago	I damn near fell out of my chair at that	is he a real person lol. Omg you would think with his flambouyant name that they made it up to scare people. Fitzgerald Touissant i think i spelled it right. The really funny thing is people turn a blind eye to the our running backs slaughtering garbage teams. In fact if you look close the bowling green game where he got caught from behind. Nobody had any big runs at least aside from denard. So could he be the real deal absolutley he could be the real deal. I think cox or shaw will be the feature guy and smith or the guy we have olny seen run twice will be the third down guy. Smith has very little breakaway speed so hell why not let fitz get a shot.
1 year 40 weeks ago	he should call him out	i guess i am not to worried about the integrity of the irish but what about the young man. I mean what kind of message is kelly sending out oh you know what its ok to break the law dont worry son we got a football season ahead of us lets go out and win at all costs. I guess after we whoop them this year it will make it that much sweeter and it will highlight the decision that hoke made as being the right one.
1 year 40 weeks ago	Chief we are	Wes brown he is a top tier back. He is highly rated and has kinda gotten some rave reviews this past summer at the camps he has been at i think we sit well for dunn but do not for a second think he will be the olny top guy on our radar.

I am not saying we are going to land him but being in the top 2 is better than not. And also miami has duke johnson already in this class so it is not as far a shot as i think your stating nor as good a thing as i am.

1 year 40 weeks ago	I respect Howard he tells it just like it flies inbetween his	ears. I also repsect that he bleeds maize and blue like the poster said above me. The guy has a true heart for michigan football. And lets top it off by saying what he said about floyd and kelly could not be farther from the truth. I think it seconds the notion that Hoke is really sending a message to play at michigan is a privilege and should be treated like that. I think the thing i like best about Howard is just what the article illustrates that he is not going to tell you what you want to hear even as a sports analyst. This makes me proud to be a fan of all things maize and blue.
1 year 40 weeks ago	A bit off topic but i read on	michigan football recruiting benjis site, WES BROWN has us in his top two. Now at 6 foot and 200 lbs i would surely not mind that kind of back. Not to mention he is teammates of stefon diggs and also we snagged countess from there last year. If you pay attention to just stars you want keith marshal if you pay attention to what has been seen at camps brown has killed it. Now if you have a chance compare funchess to junior hemingway given that funchess will get bigger and he is much taller than hemingway. Now i am not saying he would beat burbridge in a foot race i might put my money on funchess on a post corner route. In college height can sometimes be such a mismatch that speed has little to do with it. Mike williams at usc was tall not very fast but killed in college. I will still put money on him being out wide.

1 year 40 weeks ago	Funny enough	devin funchess stats rival those of burbridge. I know he is being recruited as a tight end but i think he will end up splittin out wide. He is very talented and is a jump ball kind of a reciever we are going to need in the coming years. Secondly our instate linebackers are going to be studs. I think out of our instate guys these three are going to be our best. Wuh wait i take that back ben braden throw him near the top he is way under the radar.
1 year 40 weeks ago	I think it is all speculation at this point.	If danny obrien comes calling i think we open the door for him. I dont question that at all but he has slow played us which leads me to believe we may be out of the picture.
1 year 40 weeks ago	I would second that	If you make it on this list you are pretty darn good. I think this kid could probably put on 25 pounds easily. With that kind of gain i think we are looking at one hell of a tackle. I wont put him in the long category but i do believe he could possibly be our best oline recruit. I am sure that could be countered pretty easily with kalis and braden but god they all have bright futures i hate even trying to say one will be better than the other.
1 year 40 weeks ago	Couldnt have said it better.	I have never disliked rich rod but he was a horrible at picking the starting tailbacks. He wanted vincent smith to be like steve slaton or noel devine. Guess what it hasnt worked out very well. The guy does not have homerun speed. Period he has been caught from behind several times. And that is without knee braces lol. Magnus i am liking you more and more to bad i live a thousand miles away otherwise sharing a beer and some michigan football talk would be right up my alley. I can say this I SURE HOPE WE CAN LAND BRIONTE DUNN HE IS THE ANSWER TO OUR 2014 RB QUESTION.

I could not agree more i think more of the problem why cox has not started is that rich rod did not recruit him. Second point i think sure there may have been problems in the past with the playbook but i really find it hard to believe seeing what i have saw from cox that he has not seen the field more. I am of the opinion that we can not keep trying to jam square pegs in round holes it wont work. I have watched michigan football religously since 1988 and seen alot of great to good running backs. I have to say i think cox fits the mold of the michigan back of old. I think what we saw in the spring from him is just the tip of the iceberg of what he is capable of. The dude flat ran over brandon herron for a 60 yard touchdown. He will start, thomas rawls will not start nor will he see more than 50 carries the whole year.

Was i the olny one that saw cox break a few pretty nice runs in the spring? And he had the extra speed to take it all the way on the one run. I think it was like 62 yards!!?
1 year 41 weeks ago	Sorry	I dont think ND nor PSU deserves to be here. I think they are there more for their name than anything. I think we are right were we deserve to be. I  also think we will be turning a few heads this fall when it is all said and done. Why do people keep down voting me it is really stupid. People have there right to there opinion i mean unless it is absolutley off the wall let it be. People have been real picky on here lately. And to me this is the best site on the web. Especially being that i now live in fargo north dakota. I no longer live in south redford and dont have access to the media that everyone else has. It would be nice to be able to share an opinion once in a while. I listen to everyone elses two cents. I am excited for this season this much is true.

Please could someone start a thread of what is everybodys wishlist of commits that could possibly come this weekend. I mean come on a little fantasy wont hurt anyone and i would be hugely grateful to read what others hopeful commits would be so please and thank you. And sorry for posting off topic and sorry about the format i am on my phone.

1 year 42 weeks ago	I totally agree with you waggles	were are in on a pretty talented group of WRS. My hope is that we land this kid he is big and that is the kind of reciever of old for michigan. In fact if i had my choice right now it would be Amara, Darius Powe i cant copy and paste cause i am on my phone but i read something on espn about the standouts at the GKS and according to tom luginbill Powe killed it. He said something to the fact of Powe being a physical reciever but also having more than enough ability to blow by just about any defensive back. Amara at 6'2 and Darius at 6'3 would be some great outside recievers. Than you add the slot guys we already are loaded on. Thanks tom for your post i was really anxious to here how this visit went.
1 year 42 weeks ago	Really	we need at least two WRS in this class with the talent that is out there like someone else said you cant just ignore any position for concerns of depth. Carr frequently played 5 WRS in a game manningham breaston avant mathews savoy i could go on and on. Yes stacking the Dline is important but we have got to be able to punch people in the mouth on offense and not just count on winning all of our games on defense.
1 year 43 weeks ago	This hurts i find it funny that nobody is saying a word	About our commitment. The kid looks good looks to have some talent. The best part about him is he looks and sounds like a hard worker and plays to the whistle which is very important very important. Welcome to the maize and blue we are really happy to have ya. Now this stuff with jones, pace, teric we need to look at this as a positive thing. I think it adds more scholarships to a class that is building nicely. I mean this haul of a class could be so huge i know it is not going to make a huge difference in 2012, 2013 2014 look out we are going to have a solid team. Especially solid defense. RR had such bad luck in his recruiting it is unbelievable how many of his guys did not pan out in some sort of way. The biggest one of them all demar dorsey that dude was a balla. He could run like denard but he would lay the wood too. I said when we got him that he looked like an Eric Berry type safety. Woops couldnt qualify it is a shame. I believe in what hoke is doing i think if he and matty think this Souma kid is the deal he is the deal.
1 year 43 weeks ago	A beast	This dude is going to bring back the nasty, off the edge pash rusher we need. I see him playing early. I find it hard to believe he will not be starting in 2012. This season i think if he does not redshirt he sees the field in some capacity for sure. I love this kid top of that class one of them at least.

1 year 43 weeks ago	I hope your right	Will devin gardner be slingin the rock in 2013? Is that what you are gettin at? I just think there could be a possibility as much work as that kid morris is puttin in he could jump to bein the starter although i hope they give him a year. I guess my hope is that they land one guy at the very least wolvinla a guy that can be a threat everytime the ball is in the air. I think burbridge is that guy. I also think madaris is the guy. People are forgetting madaris went to the FSU camp and won the offensive MVP award. The kid can ball he may be flyin under the radar but if you look at his offer sheet it speaks for itself. Good points though wolvinla i sometimes get lost in the shuffle of Michigan talk and forget our past head coach loved recruiting WRS for that spread of his.
