Yes, scheduling these "easier" non-conference games will pay dividends. Now we need to throw one in our schedule in early November like our friends in the SEC do every year.
Does it matter to a recruit if a school is their first offer or in early on them? I don't remember hearing about a recruit commit because that school was their first offer. Obviously getting a last minute offer may indicate you were a backup plan but is being first/early matter much?
For selfish reasons, I'd love him to stay, but he has to do whatever he (and his dad) believe is best for him. If they decide leaving now is best for his career, I wish him good luck and a long, prosperous NBA career. Now lets end his, Morgan's and whomever else decides to go with 3 more W's!!!!
Some guys just want to experience the free agent market once in their career. Who wouldnt want to be able to shop themselves to a few different employers at once and get multiple 7 figure offers?? He may end up back in Detroit after all is said and done, but he is gambling on himself for one year to make more money.
Don't see the downside in this. A 5th year senior (rather grad student), taking up an available scholarship just for the 1 year and experience in the new OC's system. All upside no downside here
Maybe you should read what I asked; Not sure where I claimed to be a recruiting expert. My point wasnt we dont want the commit because higher rated guys were offered and we should wait around for them. My point if you read it was I didnt think Nuss was that high on Sills versus what Borges thought.
Thanks Magnus. I thought he was high on Borges' list but maybe not so with Nuss so my point was that maybe Hoke felt pressure to not pull the "Borges" offer. I do agree you cant wait around for the #1 guy on your list, just wasnt sure how Nuss felt about him.
Just come out of it healthy and worry about the real Tourney! It's always good to beat Ohio but doubt being a 1 versus 2 seed next week is going to matter much.
Is there some pressure to take this kid just to keep the pipeline open to his dad's school? Not that he is a 2 star or anything but seems like there are some higher rated guys we have offered.
Morgan is a true Michigan Man. His Blue career shows what a great coach Beilein is! Hopefully Morgan can end his career here on a 6 game winning streak!!!!!

Go see Air if you haven't yet. Enjoyable movie.
I think you should sell the naming rights on MGoBlog.
Or just go with
The J. Ira and Nicki Harris Family Coach Boat
Or JJ goes pro and Ewers transfers here
Nope, we go for 2 after the last TD
2 pick 6's
JJ…
41-17 M
2 pick 6's
JJ throws 3 and runs one in
Yeah, he is starting over FFF. Missed their first two games because of injury.
No way did Harbaugh decline the penalty because of Corum's stats. Was just a bad coaching decision.
Yes, the whole key to our game will be JJ not turning the ball over.
Dice game in the back of Amir's?
Why mess with what ain't broken?
Good post. I am curious how the difficulty of our out of conference schedule affects this. The blowouts certainly help get the freshman some PT.

Yes, seems like the autographed one is already sold out. I snagged one not autographed.
Not a cartoon character but Tony Romo?
Michigan 47-27

Maybe coaches are looking at him for OL? (Trying to put a positive spin on the offer so the dream D-Line recruiting scenario stays intact)
The Crawford ship to U of M has sailed. We have moved on. Good luck to him
Better than Jake Butt sporting the ....
Congrats ladies!!
Probably will decide right at the deadline. Will depend on his back and how he is recovering
Red's still got the touch. Welcome Will!!
Not a big loss for us. Good to see Big Ten getting some 4 star talent, even if his stock dropped some. I don't think Nuss was too high on him.
One shoe on, one bare foot. Interesting. Also, I wonder what the purpose is of the second guy chasing him onto the pole.

Great article, great recruit!
I'll take a final versus any team out there
Can't wait for tip-off. Going to be a great game. Love watching Coach B move his chess peices around.
Thanks; Hoping I dont have to pay attention to football until after April 7th!
Yes please!
LeVert would have had the steal and could have run some clock off before getting fouled instead of having to deal with another inbounds play.
Why does it seem we have so much trouble getting the ball inbounds? I Know Spike is a great passer but he seems too short for these plays.
No shot we see him play this season
Who cares!!! We won; Just beat whomever shows up Sunday
3 down; 3 to go!!!!
Fri/Sun gives us an extra day off this week but Thurs/Sat gives us an extra day off before Final Four weekend
No rush for us. It's not like we are holding back that scholarship from someone else

Great news; The man is a legend!

One game at a time; On paper we should win but in this atmosphere it will be a good game
I agree but will still be rooting for the good guys; hate to lose to Staee, even if it doesnt mean much to us
Will be great to see him in a Michigan uniform again, whether its in the next 4 weeks or late summer!

B1G conference is so unpredictable. Could see a Northwestern/Penn State final in the B1G tourney :)

You definitely take him if he decides to come here. By fall, no one will remember/care about this drama
