Michigan at Michigan State is a 3:30 start on ABC

My picks

Michigan 48-Minnesota 13

Championship: Georgia over Oregon

Adoree

Is Adoree stil planning on visiting this week with his friend?

Burke to New Orleans and

Burke to New Orleans and Hardaway Jr. to Indiana is what I am hoping for.  The Pelicans need a PG that isn't Vasquez or Rivers and the Pacers need a SG to go along with Lance Stephenson.  Ryan Anderson and Eric Gordon would allow Burke to be the third scorer and when worst comes to worst he can just throw it up to Davis.  The Pacers would provide Hardaway some solid minutes off the bench on championship contender.

Any reason the last four

Any reason the last four crystal ball predictions have Hand going to Alabama?

Best: Camp Randall, Wrigley

Best: Camp Randall, Wrigley Field, and Petco Park

Other than Michigan, Wisconsin has been my favorite college gameday experience so far.  I have been there twice, once drunk and once sober, and enjoyed myself both times.  Petco Park is on this list simply because it is a nice stadium in a city with nice weather.  I went to a Padres game two days after breaking my elbow on vacation (trying to jump over a tennis net and failed miserably) and still managed to have a great time.  Went to Wrigley with my dad when I was younger and watched Sammy Sosa hit two HR's.

Worst: The Metrodome and The Oakland A's Stadium

Had Vikings season tickets with my dad and that place is just a dump.  Also, there was always  just the wrong combination of farm boys and rich kids at the games that led to alot of fights in our section.  It was fun at first, but not when you are interupted every game.

The Oakland A's stadium sucked when I went.  The place was empty, I got awful sunburn and the stadium was far from nice.

1. Yes, we will lose 1 game

1. Yes, we will lose 1 game (@ Ohio St) in the regular season and beat Ohio St in the conference championship.

2. Most likely not, unless Walton has a freshman season similar to Burke's two years ago.

3. Ohio St.

4. Two.  Artavis Scott and Damien Harris.

5. Picking Michigan: Juju Smith

    Not Picking Michigan: Da'Shawn Hand

My Guess

12. Parker Westphal

13. Malik McDowell

14. Da'Shawn Hand

15. Artavis Scott

16. Jamarco Jones

17. Darian Owens

18. Montae Nicholson

As a Vikings fan

As a Vikings fan I was pretty pleased with their first round.  They filled 3 needs at DT, CB, and WR and got a very good value pick with Floyd.  I really like that they took a risk on Patterson who I believe will benefit from playing defenses that stack the box against AP and learning from Greg Jennings.  However, they gave up alot of picks and passed up on building some needed depth at WR and LB.  Looking forward to seeing where Denard goes.  Hoping it is to the Pats or Eagles where he should fit in well.

LeVert?

Maybe start LeVert and bring Stauskas off the bench.  This team seems to play best when it's defense leads to transition offense and LeVert has seemed to be the better defender.  While he may not provide the same shooting threat on offense, this move would allow Burke and Hardaway to get into transition more often.  It might prevent some of those early 10 point deficits we often seem to find ourselves in.  Being able to bring McGary and Stausaks off of the bench would also allow consistent scoring threats.

Luke Del Rio

I am new to mgoblog and unsure about where I should post this, but Luke Del Rio has decommited from Oklahoma State.  While he maintains they are still in the hunt, I assume this moves Michigan back ahead of them on Treadwell's list.  I apologize if this is the incorrect way to go about sharing this information.

72-59 Michigan

72-59 Michigan

83-61

Michigan wins 83-61.  Robinson III goes for 20+.

McQuay

His team got knocked out of the playoffs, so his visit to USC is still going to take place.  Here's to hoping he still decides to go blue.
