"He makes it really easy on you as a coach because he has tremendous football instincts," Michigan tight ends coach Jay Harbaugh said. "Things come really naturally to him. He doesn't have to see things too many times. He has a good sense for how things should look and feel, and he's a tough, physical guy."

(not really)... But I was commenting to my brother during the game that peppers plays DB, like a RB. He jukes potential blockers out of their shoes and is one of the best open field tacklers I've ever seen. Will be fun to watch him develop this season.

Dude, I don't post much but I felt compelled. No matter how one sided you expect it to be how do you not watch the game? Weak sauce brah.

Yeah, big douche. But he has a lot of reasons to be as confident as he is. More reasons than Kanye. Irina Shayk >>>>>>> Kim Kardashian!

Gotta say that celebration after the PK by Ronaldo and co. made me sick. Atletica was dead in the water. Physically drained with 2 backs hurt and the game was over. It was classless. I don't know if there is bad blood between the 2 teams since I don't follow La Liga at all but I wasn't impressed. I really hope the US stuns Christiano and the Portugal team next month.

If you have a little extra time in San Francisco but not enough to do serious activities, I'd check out Twin Peaks. Panoramic views of the city and the bay and it's also the site where 90% of car commercials are shot.

The troubling thing about GRIII is when things aren't going his way on offense, like in the second half today, there's a noticeable decline in the effort on defense. There were several instances in the second half when he looked disinterested on the defensive side of the floor- especially noticeable with his blocking out.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I graduated in 2010 and had to beg my buddies to go to bball games with me 08-09. This year was the first time I'd ever been so invested in a team so deep into the tourney. These 2 guys made a name for the new basketball program at Michigan and should both remain legends.

As a huge Cardinals fan and a St. Louisan I was surpised and really glad to see a thread on this. Stan the Man was and is a legend. One of the best baseball men of all time. We'll miss him on opening day

First play from scrimmage for me. I was at the game with a bunch of friends who didn't follow recruiting as much as I did at the time. I had been talking him up, calling him the next Pat White since we signed him. After that run, one of my friends says "yeah he's pretty good". Needless to say it panned out.

I wouldn't be surprised to see State in the title game but I think Maxwell and their offensive line were exposed tonight against ND. I also think that the Alabama game caused people to underrate Michigan's offense. Look at what they did against Arkansas. I don't think anyone stop our offense, especially if Denard limits his mistakes passing. Next week against ND will be very telling.

I was at UTL and Game 6 and the Notre Dame game definitely deserved to be nominated but the Cardinals/Rangers is the biggest snub of the night.

I don't post much but I've been following this kid for a while and figured I could provide some insight. I went to the same high school as he did and as far as I know he is the highest rated recruit ever to come out of the school. He has great speed and good hands coming out of the backfield. I have no idea how he projects to the next level because the level of competition is very suspect in the league that he played in.
I was surpised at how highly rated he was just because of the lack of talent he played against every week. That being said, I've watched him play a few times on the football field and the basketball court and I would project him as an athlete at the next level. He may not have the size to be a full time running back and I could see him switching to the defensive backfield or slot reciever at some point. He has good leaping ability but the main thing is his speed although I don't know how legitimate his 4.40 40 is. He had zero offers before signing day this year so he must have done something right between the end of the football season and then. I hurts to see him go to OSU because I'm going to have a hard time not pulling for him.

They remind me a bit of Izzo's sneaky final four teams that he has every 4 or 5 years. Under the radar, pure grit. MSU this year seems to be that kinda team too

The museum of natural history is pretty cool just to wander around in for a little bit. Other than the obvious spots that every one else has said, just walk around town to get a really good feel for the campus during the day. At night there are all kinds of options from Ricks to Ashleys to the Chop House (depending on how classy you want to keep it)
