Burgoon was named the Cape Cod Baseball League's most outstanding relief pitcher yesterday...final regular season stats: 1.69 ERA, 21.1 IP, 12 saves, 4 ER, 34 K, 6 BB. Not shabby at all. His team will play in game three of a best-of-three playoff series tomorrow. Also, to give some context on LaMarre...his team REALLY couldn't hit. Like, at all. LaMarre had a rough start to the season, but he pulled his average up a lot in the month of July. I'm actually going to do a feature on his summer ball experience for the Daily in the fall...
