With breaking a rule like…

With breaking a rule like this, the university would face conference penalties as well as NCAA penalties. The conference notifying other opponents was no joke.

Level I violation is on…

Level I violation is on Harbaugh for "providing false or misleading information" to investigators.

That's why Jim Tressel was fired and given a show-cause penalty by the NCAA.

Was a make up spot since he…

Was a make up spot since he clearly got the 1st on the 3rd down play. Other refs say nah we want M to win.

More than 4 teams already…

More than 4 teams already have a shot at a title all they have to do is win their conference. Conference division champs and conference championship games are de facto playoff games you dont need to give those teams a second chance.  Because in the end its going to give an unlucky Alabama or Ohio St team a better chance to win.

What's the point in "making…

What's the point in "making the playoffs"? There are already 2 or 3 blowouts in the 4 team playoff. A 12 team playoff is pretty much guaranteed to be almost all blowouts. Not really compelling TV. Players will 100% sit out playoffs after a few years once they realize its actually just a bowl game called something else.

Oregon lost pretty much…

Oregon lost pretty much everyone that was good on their team from last year.

Should have lost this game…

Should have lost this game on purpose would be an 8 million dollar gain for him.

Nah I have Oregon losing to…

I have Oregon losing to BYU, UCLA, Utah and Oregon St. so a 7-5 finish.

Oregon isn't a top 25 team…

Oregon isn't a top 25 team this year they lost a lot from last year's average team.

I have MSU as a 6-6 team…

I have MSU as a 6-6 team this year so the struggle with Western isn't a surprise.

6 wins for Rutgers would be…

6 wins for Rutgers would be a miracle for them this year.

That's why getting rid of…

That's why getting rid of divisions doesn't make sense. It gives one of your two best teams another loss and the likely hood that those teams played twice is pretty high. So it gives a lot of rematches (which are boring) and it gives a good team another loss.

The conference would get more teams in the playoff by keeping the current divisions. You could have 2-4 of OSU, UM, MSU, PSU or WISC all end the season with 2 or less losses and you'll have a lot of teams in a 12 team playoff.

Rematches are boring don't…

Rematches are boring don't care what these are or if they keep it the same. Just no rematches please.

Park off campus for free…

Park off campus for free somewhere along High St. I recommend parking on a side street North of East North Broadway and take the #2 bus to campus (Get off at Lane Ave). It will take you back after the game too.

Leaving:

The buses usually line up Southeast of the stadium by University Hall/Independence Hall on Neil Ave.  Don't walk in the neighborhoods where drunk kids are and you wont have a problem.

Stroud's first score as a…

Stroud's first score as a Buckeye, 48 yard TD rush vs Michigan St last year.

Not really but anyone…

Not really but anyone listening to the SCOTUS arguments knows what is going to happen.

Should probably read the law…

Should probably read the law before posting this because the law simply allows players to AGREE to pool revenue from contracts, it does not require it or allow schools to enter into agreements with players.

Georgia General Assembly - HB 617 (ga.gov)

This is a dumb argument…

This is a dumb argument because we know rich kids get into schools they have no business in either.

What's worse an idiot getting in because he has a unique skill or an idiot getting in because his dad wrote a check?

Wake Forest QB giving him…

Wake Forest QB giving him some cushion

Non revenue sports are in…

Non revenue sports are in trouble because the president of the university voted to cancel the season and then delayed it long enough to ensure revenue would be a fraction of normal levels.

So step #1 should be fire the president of the university

TAMU and ND both played two…

TAMU and ND both played two teams with winning records and got blown out by one.

Strength of schedule doesn't…

Strength of schedule doesn't exist with no OOC games.

All we know is the ACC and Big 12 lost several games to "lower conferences"

Recruiting rankings aren't…

Recruiting rankings aren't the most useful, looking at offers a player could actually commit to is what is more interesting.

Michigan only produces 1-3 players on average that an elite school would take each year. Obviously some years there are more and some years there are none.

From an outside perspective, the biggest problem with M recruiting is reaching too much and adding a player just to fill a spot. An elite program should never reach for a player even if numbers don't look good on the roster.

You should also try to recruit a complete team each year with the exception of specialists who should be recruited every 2-3 years.

You do know there is…

You do know there is generally only 4-5 teams every year with a winning record in the Big Ten? Just add 2-3 wins (non conf) for every team and things look "normal"

Warinner is the only keeper,…

Warinner is the only keeper, just never give him a promotion from OL coach.

I would like to introduce…

I would like to introduce you to ND's schedule.

Btw, I was completely…

Btw, I was completely correct in my assessment, no title ix issues at all

Well you should hold your…

Well you should hold your excitement because the reporter that said earlier in the day that he had evidence that shows Meyer knew about it just said on ESPN that he actually doesn't have any evidence that he did.

No it doesn't because it isn…

No it doesn't because it isn't related to the university. If the victim was a student, then yes it would be required to report. Title IX is being dismantled now though because it violates due process. The university has no power over off campus incidents. Again nothing here is illegal or done improperly besides Courtney Smith's family telling her not to press charges so she can continue to get money from him. Shelly Meyer encouraged her to press charges (all she can do) and told her to not worry about the money, that they would take care of her. I don't see how anyone could think she did something wrong here. As soon as she did press charges and then they could fire Smith and that is exactly what happened.

Again, no one hid domestic…

Again, no one hid domestic abuse. The police were aware of it and there are text messages showing Shelly Meyer encouraging her to press charges and not to worry about the job because the Meyer family would take care of her.

Eh just wait a few days and…

Eh just wait a few days and the outrage crowd will be on to new and better "scandals". Smith probably is a POS but even POSs get their day in court. As soon as there was an actual pending charge, he got fired, I don't know what people expect. If you fire him too early with only the word of one side, then you are going to get sued for that too.

Nothing will come of this…

Nothing will come of this. There are no students or other school employees involved, so there is no title ix involvement. There are text messages showing Meyer's wife urged her to press charges and she would hselp her financially if needed. The police were already aware of the problem, so there wasn't any coverup. Smith's wife refused to press charges, Smith repeatedly did not get raises and was being told to move on. Yes DV is terrible but it isn't the responsibility of the person boss to hold them accountable, especially if the employee denied it and there wasn't any pending charges.

The best solution IMO is to

The best solution IMO is to have a drone above the field with an IR sensor. This could easily track the ball and give all the information you need to solve most problems.

Even if ND wins out and UGA

Even if ND wins out and UGA only loss is to #1 Alabama, I think UGA would go before ND as long as they aren't blown out.

#1 Alabama
#2 Ohio St
#3 Clemson
#4 Oklahoma
#5 Georgia
#6 Notre Dame

If Noah Spence didn't have a drug problem it would have been a sure thing.

Yes

This group is Meyer's first recruiting class that was all his players. When you look back at it, it was a very good class.

I don't pay much attention to

I don't pay much attention to ranking or stars. To me the best indication of a player's ability is who has offered them a scholarship. If a player has offers from all the blue bloods then they are a 5 star player to me even if 247 or scout rates them as 3 stars. These schools know way more than recruiting websites who are biased to where they have the most coverage.

Bud Foster wasn't even the

Bud Foster wasn't even the first person to do it against us. California ran it against us 2 years ago and that was a close game.

Also I would say Barrett will start this year. If you watch Jones last year yeah he has a big arm but Devin Smith made those plays to actually get the jump balls he put up. Next year we won't have Smith and I don't think anyone else on the roster besides Jalin Marshall has that ability.

Thanks! Yes I am very worried about Brady Hoke his track record (34-48 at Ball State, 13-12 at San Diego State) is very concerning to me and I'm concerned he will have the same success at TTUN.
