|2 days 4 hours ago||Why would he take a bad NFL job?||
The NFL guys seem to think any NFL job is better than a college job. Harbaugh is becoming more of a legend everyday. Why would he ever take a job with Miami where the organization has not proven itself competent in decades?
|2 days 5 hours ago||Isn't this USC's fault?||
The guy seems to have a well known drinking issue. They were way to quick to dismiss the incident at the alumni event earlier this year. Showing up to a work function, where you have to speak, hammered, is almost always a sign of a problem.

It's time for payback
|1 week 6 days ago||If you are flying in Saturday||
There is a good chance your flight is not going to happen. Storm is up to 115mph and could strengthen more. Even if landfall does not occur until late Sunday the airlines will start canceling flights on Saturday.
|1 week 6 days ago||FYI for those flying to the game||
I saw several people concerned about their flights to the game. If the forecast keeps trending towards a hurricane in the region the airlines will issue waivers allowing you to cancel and/or change your tickets at no cost. I would assume most major hotel chains will do the same. This will likely become an option for you by tomorrow evening or Friday morning at the latest.
I have no idea what they will do about game tickets but overall you should not take much if any of a financial hit if the game is canceled or the time is moved.
|1 week 6 days ago||Depends on the alternative||
If the option is play the game earlier or don't play it seems like they would go with the early option.

Your bigger concern may be getting back home on Sunday
|1 week 6 days ago||Move start time?||
They should have enough information to decide on a start time move by tomorrow afternoon. A few thoughts:
|2 weeks 2 days ago||Three questions||
At what point in this game does Manning say screw this New offense and just start calling the plays himself and throwing on every down?
|2 weeks 4 days ago||What is he supposed to say?||
I am fairly certain any statement of regret would be one of his last as Big Ten Commissioner. Not that I think he has any regret

Items that raise questions if this is true
· Alabama just lost so angry fans starting a rumor would be possible
· Story went from a boosters wife (not that crazy) to Saban’s daughter (really crazy) in about ten minutes
· Physical altercation between Saban & Kiffin has the ring of BS story made up by drunk fan
· Fake Saban daughter pics circulating as part of the story
· Cowherd felt there was enough to the story to go ahead and tweet about it
Items that indicate this is true
· Lane Kiffin

He was on the run and the receiver was way down field and not that open. Would have been a risky throw

That may be the worst example of camera work I have seen in some time

|4 weeks 3 days ago||Critical screw up %||
Seems like we have a critical error on about 50% of our plays at this point
|7 weeks 2 days ago||What about oil?||
You would need some type of investment that tracks with oil prices. Currently we are at $40. A two year bounce back to $60 to $80 seems possible. Prices falling into the $20 range seems unlikely. Of course if we did have two years of $20 oil the housing market in Houston would likely fall significantly. Assuming your job in Houston would not disappear with the low oil prices you would be somewhat hedged.

Our annual camping trip with 10 to 15 U of M grads. A large quantity of beer is being consumed and several pounds of bacon are on the grill. The smoker will be fired up In the morning. Always a fun weekend.

In theory he would have a $400 credit on the ticket (minus the $200 change fee). If he was on southwest he would have the full value on it.
|10 weeks 5 days ago||How does this matter?||
We have Jim Harbaugh....Harbaugh. Did people actually click on the link?
|11 weeks 7 hours ago||I don’t think what’s on the phone matters||
The league, through their investigator, asked to see the phone. He responded by destroying the phone. That seems pretty open and shut in terms of obstructing the investigation.
If he wanted to argue the phone was not relevant, they had no right to see it, etc. he could have done so through is lawyers/agent. The union also could have steeped in to protect his interest. While that was adjudicated he could have held on to the phone and turned nothing over. He decided not to do that.
I am fairly sure if a court issues a search warrant for data you can’t destroy the data and then go back and argue you are innocent of obstruction because the warrant was invalid. The proper approach is to challenge the validity of the warrant not destroy the evidence. I think the same principle applies here.
|11 weeks 8 hours ago||The phone thing||
People are really grasping at straws to defend the destruction of the phone. The search could have been narrowed to focus on information relevant to the investigation. I think they even offered that option. It seems like Brady either got poor legal advice or failed to follow it.
If the reason for the 4 game suspension centers on the obstruction of the investigation (making the facts around deflate gate irrelevant) the fact that he had the phone destroyed on the day he met with the investigators seems nearly impossible to overcome. Any idea how he can argue his way out of this one? I am going to assume the, “I had personal stuff on the phone I did not want anyway to see, or I always destroy my phone when I get a new one and happened to get one on the exact date I was scheduled for the interview”, is not going to fly in court.
Seems like his best move is to take the four games and just move on.
|11 weeks 5 days ago||Woodson||
With Woodson on almost every list this got me thinking. Is the following statement true?
"Charles Woodson is the greatest Michigan football player of all time"
I think my answer would be yes. I know there is a Brady argument but that would really be that Brady is the greatest Patriot or NFL QB.
What do you all think?
|11 weeks 5 days ago||Agree||
He is the only player on the list where there is really not a choice. The guy was by far the biggest reason we won the title in 2007. Watching him shut down half the field during every game is something I will never forget.
|16 weeks 1 day ago||There is another round||
The model future radar seems to indicate a new line forming this evening and moving through southeast MI between 10 and midnight. The model is showing a couple good sized t storm complexes with big bow echoes. That would imply a significant wind threat (though perhaps not as much of a tornado threat)so I would keep an eye out this evening.
|18 weeks 12 hours ago||Really?||
The downstairs bar area and the outside features look nice to me. Some of the main floor furniture choices are not my taste but “Relentlessly tacky”? It looks pretty standard for your typical recently built Midwest mansion to me. It’s not like it’s at the Trump level on the tacky scale. I guess I just don’t have your superior sense of style.
Are you referring to the design/decorating choices as being relentlessly tacky or the concept of two people having a 10,000 square foot house? Two different issues.
If you are talking about the decorating choices it’s always classy to go after your former football coaches wife’s style choices.
