Just finished “The Cold War”…

Just finished “The Cold War”. Very good listen. Have started “Apollo 11” done by the same people.

I'll sign up for a HTTV no…

I'll sign up for a HTTV no matter what it is, but I'd love to see some UFR for the best games of the modern era, i.e. 1997 games and others from before the MGoBlog period of my Michigan fandom.  I want to know what Brady and Woodson look like under the microscope of UFR!  I know it's a ton of work for Brian and the staff, but if all we get this year is a YouTube video from Wolverine Historian and a UFR each week from MGoBlog, then I'll take it and enjoy it!  Thanks for all you do to feed us the Michigan food that we need.

Leave Disney Property Been in your spot in the past. ESPN on Boardwalk is terrible place to watch anything that you care about. Don’t limit yourself to staying on Disney property for the best non-Disney experience, I.e. Final Four, etc.

HD App works, but not the App pictured

The Elaydin App is broke according to Apple.  The HD on my iPhone still works.  I think the link is to the wrong App.

Why would LB be his future at Why would LB be his future at UM? He committed as RB, we have 1 ILB committed and COULD have 2 more LB committing very soon. Seems like something is up...

Bama. Clemson. Washington. Bama. Clemson. Washington. PSU. If OSU gets the 4 seed, they'll get demolished bc you can't run against Bama. Clemson, Washington, and even PSU can pass the ball.

MUST WIN!

33-13 Michigan

Hard fought game.

52-20 Go Blue!

52-20 Go Blue!

70-3 Go Blue!

Ridin' dirty!

definitely some better classics

I watched highlights of that game, courtesy of Wolverine Historian and Desmond, a month or two ago.  It was an entertaining game even though there wasn't much D.  There are definitely better options.  How about Miami (YTM) vs Michigan from the 80s?

One of 3 or 4 Classic Games for UFR!

1997 PSU, 1997 OSU, and maybe something from 1991 (FSU maybe).  It would be awesome to see how that 1997 D compared to this years D...

great point Once TV is Ala carte, kick Rutgers and Maryland out of the Big.
2.83 get 1 For every $2.83 they give to EU they get $1 back. Free markets is what they want. EU is a bureaucratic nightmare for the countries who produce bc they have to carry the countries who don't, i.e. Greece et al.
39-24 Michigan! Bring on the buckeyes
UM 45 - 3

Back on track!

UM 33 - 0

After Michigan elects to receive the opening kickoff, which they run back for a TD, the D forces a safety when Cook fumbles it into the end zone and is forced to fall on it to prevent another TD...crowd goes crazy!

UM 33 - 0 Go Blue!

Keep it going!

Go Blue!

It worked for the 1997 National Champs, so it will work tonight!  Let the HARBAUGH!!! era begin!  Go Blue!

Not a big fan of Legends numbers, but

I often think of Devin's game against ND where he wore the 98 for the first time.  I would have rather seen that been a one game event to honor the legend and Devin, but then seen Devin wear his old number after that game (an honor for both the Legend and the player).

UFR any 1997 game, please!!

I loved this team so much.  I was at Fort Huachuca for that whole season.  Wake up, find somewhere to watch the game after breakfast, except for the late games.  Watched the PSU game with my buddy the PSU grad.  Good days.  This D was so dominant that I did my "pick any topic" presentation on its greatness.

MGoStaff - PLEASE talk Brian into UFR-ing ANY game from 1997.  Call it MGoHistory or something.

UM 34 - 20

Go  Blue!

OSU is the one team

This is the one team that I think Hoke really, really wants to beat.  I know he wants to win all the games, but the coaching staff seems to do a little extra for The Game and OSU looks like a mess right now too.  If the rest of the season goes as I think it will, we will be 9-2 and playing for a possible right to go to the Big 10 championship game (depending on what MSU does this year).

I always enjoy reading Brian's game re-caps

They often sum up my thoughts exactly.  I rarely post comments, but wanted to make a record of this one.  I believe this was a one game thing for this season.  I don't think we will go to MSU and beat them, but I also believe we will have a >50% chance of beating OSU.  I expect we will win all the other games on our schedule.  We knew two things about this team going into the year - the O-line was the big question mark and would take some time to season, and Hoke teams haven't played well on the road.  I feel better about the O-line, but also agree with Brian and others that RB Smith should see the majority of the carries bc he seems to be the more physical runner.  The road games are very winnable outside of MSU, and who knows how this team will react...  Remaining road games are 10/04 at Rutgers (night game), 10/25 at MSU, 11/08 at NW, 11/29 at OSU.  After watching the rest of the bigtenish in action, we match up just fine (Utah and Maryland could get a little tricky) and I predict this team is going to be laser-focused on winning the conference.

One last prediction, we will be the winningest team in history, by win percentage and total wins, by the end of this season.

It is Nationally Relevant

because whoever wins the game will own the ALL-TIME winning percentage title.  Everyone wants a title, especially the Worldwide Leader in Sports.  This means as great as the SEC is now, they still trail both of these programs, and therefore can't claim supremacy over the world no matter how great that conference is right now.

GO Blue!

Stauskas or Doug McDermott at #9

All the talk down here is Stauskas or Doug McDermott at #9.  Most seem to think it will be McDermott though.  Gary Harris gets a little talk, but his height and late season 3PT FG% has pushed him below the other two.  If the Hornets pick Nik, then it'll be great going to the games, especially when they play the Jazz, Knicks, and whoever GR3 and Mitch go to.

WR-TE Preview

19 TE --> 87 TE --> 87 WR --> 1

We need a "1" reciever, let Funchess live up to the legend of the number.  As a side note, I sure wish those Legends Numbers were only issued for one game at a time.

UM 42 PSU 9

We start to look like a conference title contender again.

UM 52-20

No whammies, no whammies...

DG comes back to form and the D contains.  Late scores by UConn make it look closer than it feels watching it live.  D Green goes for over 100 and a TD.  Fitz gets 80 - 100 and 2 TDs.

That is all.

UM 69-3

UM 69-3.  Great game to eval younger guys.  Give up late FG.

Notre Dame 24 Michigan 44

ND has a new frustration, Garder, and our D is legit.

1997...

Thanks for the great graphic.  The tease is what was 1997 like?  In my mind, the '97 Defense was the best ever.  I only vaguely remember the '85 D.  I remember doing a briefing for a "presentation" in a class and the '97 D lead the Nation in every category.  Just unbelievable how good they were and how much fun to watch.

58 - 0 UM!

More of the same...

The MGo take-over of the Freep has begun...

It is good to see Brian's "coaching tree" branching out.  In 5-10 Brian will control all of your MGo info feeds.

These are the games that make lifelong fans...

My elementary school daughter came downstairs to watch the second half with me while everyone else went upstairs to bed.  She would ask, "is that good daddy?" and I would say "yes".  She would ask, "is that bad daddy?" and I would say "yes".  After V Smith took that brilliantly called screen to the house, we both jumped around and yelled at the top of our lungs.  We woke the others up.  Then ND went down the field and scored again.  She didn't have to ask "is that bad?"  She knew.  I said we still have 30 seconds and Denard.  Everyone knows Denard.  After the long pass play to Gallon, my wife came downstairs as my daughter and I went crazy.  When they took one shot in the endzone, she asked "is that bad daddy?"...and I rambled something until the play started...then Roundtree caught the winning TD.  I looked at my daughter and said, "now do you see why I love this game, this team?"  She smiled knowingly.  She gets it now.  She loved the band, she loved the rawk music, she loved the maize pom-poms, she loved Denard's smile, and she loved "The Michigan Experience" even if it was hundreds of miles away.

I'll take Utah and SC (NTSC) straight up

Utah will be too much for SC (YTSC) to handle, until SC has some offense not consisting of Barkley to Woods.  SC (NTSC) is very talented and all the insiders down here are very excited about the DL.  ECU mitigated the DL to some extent by quick release passes.  SC will learn from game one and beat GA badly.  Boise will lose value in their Week one win.

Excellent Job on Video

I don't log in very often, but did to say "great job".  As others have said, the music isn't appropriate for the little ones, but man the video sure is.  If that was a HS recruit video...  I am glad 16 plays for the good guys.  GO BLUE!
