Was in London for a week in October. Went to the Kings Sports Bar at the Empire Casino on Leicester Square. They put the Guardians-Yankees ALCS game on for us.
Based on my experience as a prosecutor, absent aggravating circumstances, a first time OVI is almost always pled down to a Reckless Op or Physical Control of a Vehicle while Intoxicated. Both lesser offenses, but still with consequences.
FWIW he deleted the tweet announcing that he received an offer from Michigan. Also FWIW, he's the second highest rated 3 star RB on 247. Film looks good. He's so fast he makes fast people look not fast. Would be a good back to pair with Stokes.
I wish, just once, one of these posts, lamenting the lack of "in state recruiting" would include a couple examples of players from Michigan we missed on and why the poster wants them in the class. I guess that's too much to ask for these days. Put me in the camp of not caring where recruits come from, as long as they want to play for Michigan and can help us win football games.
Wiltfong uses the CB as a current pulse of the recruitment, where he would go if he decided to day, not necessarily where he thinks the recruit will end up. So a Wiltfong CB is not as bad as a Lorenz or Webb CB, but it sounds like we have some work to do. It all worked out in the end with Will, so not too worried right now. Obviously needs some time to bond with the new staff.
I don't think it's a bad thing. Yeah, he'll be at Belleville where there is a strained relationship between Harbaugh and the coaching staff, but he committed to Michigan when he was at Belleville. It wasn't until he went to IMG that he decommmitted. Additionally, he'll be closer to his brother, Andre Seldon, who by all accounts is as blue as blue can be (who also attended Belleville). At the end of the day, I think the relationship with his brother will have a bigger effect than any tension between the Michigan and Belleville programs.
First thing I did in Rome was buy a Rome Pass, it got me into my first three sites for free; unlimited public transportation; and a city map. It cost 35 Euro I think. You jump the line at the Colosseum too. It doesn’t include the Vatican. If your going to the Vatican museums, buy a ticket in advance. You get to skip the line at your appointment time. The line wraps around the country. See St. Peter’s and go to the space below like others suggested. You can pay extra to take an elevator to the top. If you can do it physically, taking the steps is a really cool experience. Pantheon is awesome, as is the Colosseum and Forum.
As far as fine dining, nightlife, and shopping, I can’t help you there. When I went, I was a poor, single 3rd year law student, so my interests in those areas were probably a lot different then yours. I do agree staying near the Terminii train station makes it very convenient. Two things I wish I did were renting a bike and cruise down the Appian Way and going to the catacombs. I went to Florence too. Loved them both. Have fun and safe travels!
CJ Stroud, 4 Star OSU QB commit. Him and DGW are friends / train together. I think they even took their OV to Michigan together. I didn’t see the OHIO, but saw Stroud in the background.
I've heard nothing about Rutgers. He recently officially visited TAMU and USC (Cali). Last word, was that he is signing on Wednesday. The fact that he is taking a trip to Michigan on his own dime (his official was over the summer), is probably a good sign.
I think this was a snarky response, based on the fact you left out kickoff returns for a touchdown. It reads as though there have only been 12 actual kickoff returns
So you would have been okay with the coaches telling Chris Hinton thanks, but no thanks and then accepting the commitment of Maverick Hansen (DT 3 star #37 player in the State who signed with Sparty)?
It also shows his actual "interest" in Michigan. If the only reason you're going to a school is because you like one of the coaches, it's probably best you look elsewhere.
If I recall correctly, the following Carr comments also immediately preceded Michigan cooling on him:
"It's a great school and they know how to win," Carr said. "They just need to get over that one little hump to beat their rival. I think I can do it, but I need to know how long coach Gattis is staying. His intentions are really holding my decision. Let's say he leaves two years after I'm there, I probably won't want to be there anymore."
Carr would also like to see freshman quarterback Joe Milton eventually take over the Wolverines offense as well.
"It's all Gattis," Carr said. "It looks really good for them. I just think they should start a different quarterback. Personally, I like (Joe Milton) just from what I've seen from him when they played Ohio State."
I'm actually okay with Michigan getting "ass blasted" by Notre Dame next week. That means PSU went to the wrong stadium and will have to forfeit. Automatic win for us. Then we can play ND for real the week after.

Not going to lie, when I first read your post I was like, "You took your dog out for drinks and dinner?" Maybe I should put the booze away.

Nuabody actually thought Toia was coming here, did they?

Gus Malgone, amirite?
As a diehard Reds fan (and former second baseman), this one hits closer to home than the others. Great careers on the field and in the booth. RIP Joe

Does Griffey, Jr. count? Still a hall of famer, but if he had stayed healthy in Cincinnati, he may have hit 800+ home runs.
Subway just came out with a "rib" sandwich. Is that good enough for you?

You need to mention that we are at a Rich Rod level of recruiting.
Ironically, thanks to a couple of guys from Ohio
