I was looking forward to this post for a while -- as soon as I realized you were making your way through the list of MMB recordings. I played tenor sax on the Maize Album. I've looked for copies at the MDen and online over the past few years to see if I could find a copy to have on hand, or maybe give as a gift to family members, but it feels like it's been erased from history.
I've got MP3 files on an old laptop somewhere, but having a hard copy again would be nice. I was hoping you'd find an obscure source, but it looks like your search was about as fruitful as mine!
If I'm able to find the files, maybe I'll find a way to share them with you and the blog. It's got some fun arrangements by then-director Scott Boerma and other MMB legend and fellow tenor saxophoneist John Stout (RIP).
Thanks for putting these together and for drawing attention to different highlights of the marching band's history!
I just pulled it up to watch it. OSU WR held Grey too long on the block. The players got a little scrappy. Day's eyes were not wanting to stab anyone, and the shove was one handed and just enough to keep Grey away from his guy. I'm the last guy who would defend OSU, but this is so, so weak.
I haven't had cable in a while, but I think I remember having a similar issue once. If I recall, it wasn't an issue with the TV, but instead was a setting with the box. I think I fixed it in the by getting to the settings for the box and adjusting the language settings.
It had something to do with defaulting to the Spanish option when it was available in both Spanish and English. I'll update if I remember more. Good luck!
The line for Jim Hackett's football autograph being 7x longer than the University of Michigan's was sort of interesting? Even a picture of Maryland smiling if you can believe it?

Ah yes, the five year stretch when they lost to OSU every year, except for 40% of the time...
