I was part of the mass exodus

5 minutes into the third quarter as well.  I am not proud to admit that I walked out of the Gator Bowl, because I NEVER thought I would ever walk out of a Michigan Football game, and never will again, however I do not have any regrets about leaving that debacle.  I just could not take the RR buffoonery any longer, and apparently, neither could about 10,000 of my closest Maize and Blue wearing brothers and sisters that were walking down the exit ramps with me.

I will also say that my determination to stay in my seat until the clock reads 0:00 to see Michigan come from behind for improbable wins has suited me well over the years.

Took a buddy to his first ever Michigan game in 2005 against Penn State and watched Super Mario score the winning TD right in front of us.  Last year at UTL, my girlfriend wanted to leave as she had been to 3 games prior to that one, all losses, and she felt she was cursed when ND scored with 0:30 remaining...  I told her we HAD to stay because you never know what is going to happen in 30 seconds and I cited the Penn State game. (I was trying to convince myself that a miracle could happen just as much I was trying to convince her)  "28 seconds" later, Roundtree caught the winning TD, again, right in front of us.

LOVE Michigan Football.  GO BLUE!!!

2017? What about 2014

when we play them AGAIN??  To this day I still do not understand why we scheduled Appy State again.  No good can come from that game.  Even if we win 72-0 nobody will care and will only ask “So why did you lose to them in 2007”.  Worse still, if “The Horror” repeats itself?? Well, I don’t think there are words that can describe what that would do…

My thoughts exactly... Stop

My thoughts exactly... Stop going the Oregon route of several uniformz and be proud of our classic uniform tradition!

Nothing good can come of that

Nothing good can come of that rematch.  Even if we win by 50+ points the media and the haters will ask "remember when you lost to them in 2007?"

ESPN will show "The Horror"

ESPN will show "The Horror" to start College Football season for at least the next 10 years and will probably show clips of it during pregame for Michigan's first game every year for the next 15-20 years.

That is part of the

That is part of the problem... None of us fans were worried about this match up before it started last time, and apparently none of the players were worried about it either. Oh The Horror, THE HORROR!!

Great College Football Bar - VIrginia Beach, VA

AJ Gators on Holland Road in Virginia Beach, VA is a great College Football Bar that is very Michigan friendly.

I have been going there for about 9 years, so the owner gives me (and now all U of M fans) preference and will put the game on one of the three big screens up front if it is asked for.  Getting sound for the game is about 50/50.  On average I would say there are 15-30 Michigan Fans at each game, even more if the game is on the B10 Network.

There are no official college team clubs or associations at this bar, but the BIG-10 presence is huge.  You will see many Buckeyes in the bar, but the atmosphere is friendly with good natured ribbing.  For MI-OSU game, the owner will kick you out if you get out of hand and go beyond playful ribbing and make the game ugly for those trying to enjoy.
