while Texas Southern was at 276.
I guess keeping track of which was the worst loss will give us something to do this year.
With the B1G seemingly down a bit, what would it take for Michigan to make the Big Dance?

I was scratchin' my head as to why the Lions have clinched but neither have Green Bay nor Seattle nor Dallas.
I think it's because everyone except for Dallas has the tiebreaker over Philly. If Dallas loses out and Philly wins next week, Philly would take the NFC East based on a 4-2 division record over a 3-3 Dallas.
Which would put Dallas in competition for the wildcard at 10-6. Since Detroit plays Green Bay, only one of the two could lose out to finish 10-6. Since Detroit played neither Dallas nor Seattle, the tie-breaker goes to conference record, and Dallas cannot catch Detroit. The conference record would be the tiebreaker in either a two-way or a three-way tie.
Seattle could lose out to Dallas in a two-way on a head-to-head basis based on Dallas 30-23 win over the Seahawks.
Green Bay and Dallas would both have a 7-5 conference record at 10-6. In a two-way, Dallas would win on their 4-1 record against Seattle, Chicago, New Orleans, and Philadelphia versus a 3-2 record for Green Bay.
Of course, Seattle or Green Bay could win another game and thus take the wildcard on the basis of a better record.
Now if Dallas wins tomorrow, Philadelphia is eliminated and Arizona, Detroit, Dallas, Seattle and Green Bay will be assured of one of the five non NFC South playoff spots.

That'd be like an A++ today.
Question: Why is it called C?
Answer: Because it came after B. Seriously.

Average annual NFL team profit = $43 million.
Michigan Football annual profit = ~$60 million.
There are no Colin Kaepernick expenses of ~$13 mil/yr in college.

At my birthday dinner, there was a young girl sitting across from me in another party at a Japanese steak house. (Where the chefs cook in front of you.) I was sure that she reminded me of someone, but for a while, I couldn't place it. All of a sudden, it hit me: McKayla Maroney.
Then I had to make a wish, and I wished for

I recall Ron Jaworski being amazed at Tom's read progressions in his first game. Jaws said something like "there are maybe 5 QBs in the league that can do that".

Don Canham, a pioneer of college sports marketing, understood that Bo's success was a prerequisite of his own marketing success.

from a Herman Miller fan to a Steelcase customer".
Brandon, meanwhile, focused upon maximizing the sales of an ordinary product at Dominos. (But Brandon did try to charge extraordinary prices at Michigan.)
|4 days 20 hours ago||It should also be noted that Brandon||
was a Marketing of an Uunremarkable/Mediocre Product Guy
His attempts to sell Michigan with marketing while neglecting the quality of the product were exactly the wrong prescription for Michigan.

|4 days 21 hours ago||Does the prospect of paying the players||
change the calculus of the amount or length Michigan is willing to pay Harbaugh?
I say definitely no to the amount, and a less strong no to the length of the contract.
Say players averaged $100K. That would amount to an $8.5 million additional expense. Which would certainly subtract from the annual $60 million profit that the football team generates.
However, the focal point of the CC: has to be that the current Michigan team is not an elite program and has not been since at least 2007. (Being generous here.) Nonetheless, Michigan Football is still an elite Top 5 revenue generator, which provides a path back to becoming an elite program. (Go spend a few extra million per year to hire an elite coach who will make the program elite again.)
That $8.5 million amount would surely squeeze the subsidy amount available to the negative profit sports, however.

1. Viewed from one angle, the two parties have different visions of government, which leads to gridlock. Which is exactly what the Founders intended. Would you rather have the "Gangs" unchecked? This dynamic is somewhat protected from voter/public apathy. The exception being when a super-majority exists. In that condition, the lack of competition can lead to bad policy. Especially because of #2 below.
2. Viewed from another angle, the two gangs behave nearly alike, whoring the same but for a different set of donors/johns. This dynamic thrives under voter/public apathy. Public attention on the protection racket and giveaways followed by primary challenges for the worst congressional actors is the tool the American public has to stop this type of gang behavior. Unfortunately, with incumbent losses in primaries being rare, this tool is rarely used by the public.
