"He makes it really easy on you as a coach because he has tremendous football instincts," Michigan tight ends coach Jay Harbaugh said. "Things come really naturally to him. He doesn't have to see things too many times. He has a good sense for how things should look and feel, and he's a tough, physical guy."

|1 hour 42 min ago||MSU has to get by Rutgers first||
4EverBlueGirl beat me to it, albeit in a less snarky way.
|1 hour 53 min ago||C'mon, you can take the next logical step||
Yes, "Vegas" finds the market price for the spread.
If the market spread were consistently predictably wrong, there would be easy money to be made (over multiple plays). In most liquid markets, any knowledge of easy money to be made draws the smart money in volume to that side, which causes the market price to become the price at which there's no easy money to be made.

However, I expect this to be an M600M game (M-boom).

the Dr Peppers College Football Playoff?
|4 days 1 hour ago||+1 informative||
|4 days 1 hour ago||Actually, the away competition is MUCH worse than||
what we thought in the pre-season.
Preseason, we wouldn't have expected to sweep
Now I do.
Others have begun to say that the MSU game is winnable. Further, MSU's Oregon win looks a lot more pedestrian after Utah destroyed Oregon in Autzen. The home slate, in order of increasing difficulty
Then there's the B1G championship game against an opponent fromt the West that will be weaker than MSU & OSU.
So that's one rabbit out of a hat (OSU), three tough wins, and five taking care of business. Likely? No. But it's no longer crazy talk. Just a very possible long shot.

What Would WD Wear?
I'm thinking about ordering this Khaki rainsuit and stenciling on an unsanctioned "M"

|5 days 6 hours ago||I didn't see it because ABC cut away at 34-0||
|5 days 8 hours ago||The 34-8 score in 97 understated the beatdown||
It was an absolute annihilation. ABC cut away in the fourth quarter as Michigan outgained PSU 416 - 169.
In contrast, the 27-0 1998 score hid a number of missed PSU opportunities/drives into Michigan territory, including a blocked 34 yd FG, a turnover on downs at the Michigan 1, and a missed 32 yd FG, and a drive that stalled at the Michigan 32. While Michigan was clearly the better team, combined with some turnovers, you could play woulda/coulda/shoulda and imagine a close game.
There was no imagining a close game in 1997, even by the most ardent PSU fan.

"Yeah, it's me. Mr. Lineman. Yeah. Hi. Just a lumbering lineman, not the best athlete on the field or anything, nothing to be worried about. I'm just here to make your last hours on Earth as peaceful as possible."

I'm going to the game, so please AMHG, don't do it.

|6 days 20 hours ago||No, this team was built to win last year||
$9.7 million of Suh's prior contracts are counting against the Lions' cap THIS YEAR.
That's a fair amount of talent that could have been added to this team
Worse is Stafford's contract, which is likely the reason the Lions had to mortgage Suh's cap hits into the future, which is why they had to let him go.

The part where he can pick up a first down whenever there's less than ~7 yds to go by trucking the defender.
That was HUGELY valuable in the college football playoffs and should be again this year. It's not gonna work in the NFL.

Stanley Jackson predicted on the BTN tonight that Michigan would upset either MSU or OSU.
