I agree, I like Hoke's aggresiveness with OSU. But like anything else success is measured by results. If Hoke spends alot  of time on OSU commits and cannot turn them, then he has burned up alot of time that may have given him better results elsewhere. Again, I like his tenacity and I hope it works but it is a bit of a gamble.

People that like ties are the same people that like the current bowl system over a playoff. They like the drama. Football teams play the game to compete and win, not tie. And if you want drama watch a soap opera.

But you should know that I am going to wander aimlessly through the streets until I find my new identity.

I remember seeing him his freshman year and thinking we had a three year lockdown corner developing.  My heart goes out to Boubacar and his family, but it sounds like he has the support structure in place to put this behind him and move on afterward if he wants to.

It makes you really appreciate just how mentally strong these kids have to be when dealing with the immense pressure of big time college sports. 

I'm sure next year at this time we will have one and possibly two of the top ten on the offensive list but with so many variables it's kinda hard to guess who exactly that might be. Defensively we might still be a year out but at the same time it wouldnt surprise Roh, Martin or Van Bergen had the type of year that lands them on the list next year. Lets hope for the best. Just MHO.

Sometimes I wonder if certain sports writers don't say things (like above)  just because it seems to be what other local writers are saying and they just want to fit in.
