- Not saying we'll find another Peppers, but who are we recruiting to play the hybrid Peppers role on defense?
- Will Michigan take a punter this year?
- With MSU and OSU on the road...what's setting up to be the biggest recruiting weekend of the year?
- Is Drew Singleton still a "take" despite the ACL injury?
- What are the chances Dytarious Johnson makes it to campus next year aka is he still on the radar?

No one is saying he's not unqiue...he is.
But it's natural to try and compare him or find the closest thing you can think of to him. In fact, that kind of shows how unqiue he is, that no one can really agree.

IMO, yesterday should've been day 1 of the polls.
It would look so much different.
And also agree on the coaches poll, just do away with it, it's stupid and it doesn't mean a thing anymore.

Mathieu is a good comparison, except he's so much bigger.
It's like Mathieu mixed with Troy Polamalu.

Thanks for putting this together! Awesome stuff...I feel like we get more info from this than a months worth of pressers.

I'm here Coach! Right here!!
|1 day 14 hours ago||Higdon||
Makes me so happy people are finally jumping on board.
I'd do those depth charts in the offseason and people automatically dismissed him because he didn't do much last year.
My comment to that was, he had to have done things in practice to earn the carries he got. He seemed like an obvious redshirt choice and he played and we even had special packages for him last year. He'd just get tripped up or someone would miss the one block he needed to spring a big run.
The kid can play - no question. I'm glad he's having some success now and showcasing his skills. He and Evans give us some quality speed at the RB position so we don't need to use Jabrill as much.

|1 day 14 hours ago||Harbaugh's affection for Jabrill is awesome||
I was 100% sure Jabrill leaves after this year, I'm 99% now because I think Harbaugh may actively recruit him.
The player/coach match between those two is unreal. Two of the most competitive people ever who both love football and they just feed off each other.

Because Lewis is back.
Basically you bring Lewis in and sub Clark out if you're looking at the beginning of the season and the rest of the season.
Everything else stays the same.
...the issue is depth. Which is why I say on the surface. Because now we have our 2 starting CBs (even if Clark was playing better than Stribling, the coaches clearly think high enough of Strib to keep starting him over Clark).
We don't have any depth and I think Clark would've helped out the CBs when Stribling is having a bad game or the Ss when, say, Thomas is having a bad game.
I think the safties are still okay because Kinnel is coming on and I don't think there's too much off a difference between Clark the 3rd safety and Kinnel the 3rd safety.
My fear is we no longer have a bonafide 3rd CB.
The luxury is that we don't bring on a 3rd CB in Nickel situations...we have Peppers as the 5th DB. When we go Dime, we've been playing another safety, so Kinnel comes in.
So rotations wise...we're fine. It's depth, and that's scary. We need someone of these young guys to grow up quick just in case they're called upon.

I was actually going to make that #5, but I assume he wouldn't know WTF I was talking about...and he may think it was MY crazy idea.
...so I thought a little deeper and went with the Dytarious Johnson question instead.
|2 days 5 hours ago||Little to no chance.||
I think that has already been answered with a resounding...YES.
|2 days 5 hours ago||How many of those coaches are really out there?||
We all know the big 3.
Swinney? Fisher? Shaw? Dantonio? Stoops? Petersen?
Is Kelly really THAT far behind all of those guys?
I think that's what teams like LSU and ND fail to realize. Everyone wants Meyer, Saban and Harbaugh...but there aren't too many guys that are going to show up and change your program from day one.
Is Bob Stoop REALLY that much of an upgrade over Brian Kelly? They feel like just about the same thing to me.
You're not getting Swinney, Fisher or Shaw. So what now, Patterson, Petersen and a young hot name like Herman is all that's left.
...or have we not gotten over the Gruden to ND predictions?
Regardless, most would say Kelly is one of the 15 best coaches, maybe 10 best coaches in the country. There really isn't much seperation between him and the guys ahead of him until you get to the big 3. It just comes down to timing and fit for the guys 4-15.

When we started the year with Glasgow and Mone next to each other...it was almost unfair.
Those two were literally unstoppable. Then come back with Godin and Hurst behind them? Lights out at DT.
Worm/Charlton/Winovich/Gary on the outside?
That's an NFL DL and I'm not exaggerating.

He's 56-26 at ND...
The guy before him (Weis) was 35-27
...the guy before that (Willingham) was 21-15
...the guy before THAT (Bob Davie) was 35-25
The days of Lou Holtz are long gone, but Kelly has been the closest thing record wise and it's not even close.
Holtz last coached in 1996, exactly 20 years ago. Brian Kelly is the best coach they've had in 20 years...that's insane.
|2 days 8 hours ago||Agree 100%||
And that is AMAZING opportunity for any coach. WOW.
|2 days 8 hours ago||Crushed FSU last year too||
However, they probably weren't motivated to be in the Peach Bowl.
|2 days 8 hours ago||Brian Kelly isn't going anywhere unless he wants to leave||
The seat may get hot...but there's no shot they fire Kelly. They were AWFUL before he showed up, wildly inconsistent year after year after year. LSU won a national championship right before Les got there. It's a different situation.
