|1 day 11 hours ago||Again...no doubting that||
But which athletes? Because if Adidas give $4 million more and that creates a better experience for athletes. I will take that.
If Adidas money gets them home on a plane versus a long bus ride...and they can recover quicker or get to bed and get more sleep for class the next day, that should matter. And we're not talking football.
If Adidas money allows a sport to recruit nationally and get the best players...that is more important to me than average players in Nike.
If Adidas money allows for better facilities to recruit from and for student athletes to use. Or new things like a nutrition center...then that is bettering their experience.
Like I said before...it could be providing a huge benefit to student athlete welfare or student athlete experience or the competitiveness of a particular program.
|1 day 12 hours ago||This argument is||
This argument is awful...please do some research first.
|1 day 12 hours ago||Annually||
actually you're completely wrong.
|1 day 12 hours ago||Because those people don't||
Because those people don't make decisions in a vacuum.
|1 day 12 hours ago||You do not know this...||
just stop it.
If Adidas is what built the new FH complex...you want to ask those girls which they prefer?
You're missing the point people keep beating over your head. YES if all is equal, Nike is preferred...we all get this. But all is not equal and if that 4 million is going back to the athlete or provide a service, then the decision may be different.
You don't know if it's Adidas + something vs. Nike and nothing more. Think of it like sports...and a trade. If you're also getting cash or draft picks, that sweetens the deal rather than just a player for player trade.
Until we know what that $4 mil a year does every year...it's silly to keep bringing up this poll. What if it allowed teams to fly instead of bus? What if it offers more money in their recruiting budget so they can compete even better or recruit nationally? What if it allows all sports to take a foreign trip every few years? What if it builds or renovates a facility?
Let the student athlete know that stuff THEN go ask your question. Same with coaches. If it's still Nike then cool...but right now it's moot.
|1 day 12 hours ago||In basketball it matters...in||
In basketball it matters...in football, having a coach who is a figurehead in the sport is FAR more impactful.
However the entire FSU, OSU, Alabama argument is so stupid for so many reasons. Their situation is not Michigan's situation. They shouldn't even be compared. If Auburn...a UA school wins this year should we go to UA?! Such strange logic. Make the best decision for MICHIGAN. It does not have the same circumstances as FSU, OSU or Alabama and what is best for them may or may not be what is best for us.
|1 day 12 hours ago||Home jerseys yes||
I have always wanted Adidas to do a small center logo like that Nike swoosh.
Those away jerseys...meh. I like our new plain away jerseys. Just make everything simple like the home...except outline all navy in maize. But no stripes or piping.
|1 day 12 hours ago||It Is.||
it is because it's Adidas.
|1 day 12 hours ago||NIKE did it first||
Adidas just kept it and kept the money flowing because highlight sells more than maize in this day and age. Neon in general sells more right now.
So for a money driven AD like Brandon...why would he ask them to switch if Nike had already started it and it was generally accepted and the money was good?
Changing back is just as much about money...they know people will go out and buy a bunch of new shit once the shade changes again. These are stupid people even if the decision itself is stupid.
|1 day 12 hours ago||Lol||
i could totally see D1 an AD sitting in his or her office thinking this exact thing when making a multimillion dollar decision.
|1 day 12 hours ago||Yes||
which makes this OP so weird...you don't have to watch, or know random facts like Mark Rypien's daughter plays to know it exists. Hope he knows there is now a major soccer league in America too.
And what's with all the moral PC? Disgrace to football? Who the fuck compares this to real football? Do they think WWE/WWF is wrestling? They're both entertainment...that's it. And what they wear is no different than half the shit already on TV.
Or what about beach volleyball? Is the fact that they're a "real" sport and they're crazy talented mean they can wear nothing and it's okay? They don't HAVE to wear what they do...look at the sport at the college level.
Look at the dancers in football and basketball...all there for the same purpose as this league, entertaining. If this disgusting then so is all of that. Courtside girls in the NBA...Google the video of Al Horfords little brother. Ringside girls in boxing or MMA, same thing. Entertainment. No one watches them for informational purposes.
Let's be consistent. In reality most people don't pay attention to the vast majority of it. But some do...and that's fine, but this league is no different than other forms of entertainment where girls where next to nothing for a predominantly male audience. And there are other women's sports leagues where women wear the same or less...so no matter which angle you look at this, it's silly to single the LFL out other than it just plain sucks.
|2 days 8 hours ago||After 8 Nike/Adidas||
After 8 Nike/Adidas threads....I was praying for this.
|2 days 8 hours ago||He should set up a sweet out of office reply||
that basically sells the program and trolls the rest of college football.
|2 days 8 hours ago||I think||
I'll send him an email of my junk.
|3 days 3 hours ago||That's not ripped||
He's more defined is what you're trying to say...
That's simply not ripped or jacked or shredded...or whatever meathead word people use these days.
Just google "Ripped Muscles" and see if the OP picture belongs on the page. It doesn't.
That's not a bad, thing, no question he's added muscle and he's far more defined...people are just correcting you on using the wrong word. That's all.
|3 days 3 hours ago||How ironic||
...because YOU sir, are the legend
|3 days 22 hours ago||It's not ripped||
But he's definitely added some muscle and some good weight.
|4 days 4 hours ago||Henson||
From the nature of the position.
That team wins a national championship if those guys come back.
McGary is the runner up. That one was brutal, but McGary doesn't win because we're still only "meh" if Walton and LeVert still get hurt.
|4 days 19 hours ago||(No subject)||
|4 days 19 hours ago||However... I'll take (with ND not included)||
Oddly enough, I didn't enter any road games. I was waiting for back to back years of no non-conference road games and never found a year so all of these should be home games.
|4 days 19 hours ago||In general||
I'd like to see us playing Texas, Cal, North Carolina, Washington, Florida, Arizona...I don't know, but I've always liked to see us play other flagship state schools, which is weird...because I'm not talking about (insert name) State.
|5 days 7 hours ago||IT IS A MOTHERFUCKING MOVIE!!!!!!||
Stop it. It's fake, period. It's not a biography, it's not a documentary!
SELMA - a movie, fiction, based off real events...but in no way, shape, or form an actual documentary of exaclty what happened, when it happened.
This is the same thing.
That's what's wrong with people these days...in the era of reality TV that is so far from reality, just has real people...we take anything that is on the TV or big screen and act like it's supposed to be the truth. It's not. It's supposed to be entertainment. That's all.
I don't care if it's Argo, Zero Dark Thirty, Lincoln, Wolf of Wall Street, 42, Remember the Titans, Selma, American Sniper, etc. --- it was made to entertain people, not to educate people.
Learn the fucking difference. Get mad over something that claims to be true, something that claims to be a biography or documentary and isn't. Get mad over that.
Don't get mad over a movie being a movie. Just watch the damn thing or don't.
|5 days 7 hours ago||Exactly.||
But unless someone has a mask and a cape, people don't understand the difference.
|5 days 18 hours ago||Would you do it...||
Pistons get #12 pick (and rights to Devin Booker) + Rodney Hood
Jazz get #8 pick + backup wing player
|5 days 19 hours ago||If you lose Monroe||
Trey Lyles or Myles Turner are the option. Turner shoots over 40% from 3 and is a freak of nature.
|5 days 19 hours ago||I've had him to the Pistons for months...||
But he blew up late in the year and he won't go past 6.
I now think the Pistons should trade down and get Devin Booker along with a SF (in the trade).
You can play Booker with KCP or you can have some more offensive firepower at the wing position.
In the 2nd round, pray for Rakeem Christmas to fall to the Pistons, he'd be a nice backup in the post. He's played extremely well in workouts and may have moved into the first round.
|5 days 19 hours ago||This is the first time in 11 years||
That the team with the highest probability has won.
Being last helps your chances, but it doesn't make it a certainty.
|5 days 19 hours ago||You can watch it online...||
lol, know what the f you're talking about before you type.
They had people in the room and they released the video immediately after the announcement.
I suppose they could've made up the video footage though, like Ocean's Eleven with they had the replica vault and fake robbery video.

Say he can transfer to any Pac-12 school EXCEPT Arizona...you know, tampering and all that.
