- Beilein has recruited like shit the past few years...the "In Beilein We Trust" bullshit doesn't work if you want to be elite. It only works if you want to be a dangerous underdog that can knock off the big boys. This is basketball. Two elite players can make an elite team.
- Beilein either refusal to press the big man recruiting or lack of ability in that area - minus McGary is catching up. Doyle is a quality backup C who would be a serviceable starter as an upperclassman on an elite team. Jordan Morgan if you will.
- Along those lines...you can't play a PG, 3 SGs and 1 post player (for half the game)/1 PF (for the other half) and expect to beat teams consistently - Not unless you have Steph Curry, Draymond Green and a bunch of solid role players.
- I've said for 2 years now...we have no toughness. No one that has that "DOG" in him. J-Mo was barely enough and he didn't even get us over the hump. Beilein should always have 2 guys on the team that aren't going to be pushed around - they don't even have to be post players. But you have to have some toughness...we have none. We have a bunch of nice guys.
- There is no reason Max B shouldn't be on this team.
|25 min 20 sec ago||Hats off to you||
I did the vast majority as well. This was the first year I was smart enough to do most of it yesterday so I could take my time today. All I had to do today was the mac & cheese and green bean casserole...everything else was basically done. Smart move. I've already taken two naps today.
About to go get dessert. I don't make that...this is where I get to sit back and dominate everything on the kitchen counter.

Jahlil knocked ol dude, the FUCK, OUT!
Good for him, no guns, no weapons...you talk that shit, you get your shit kicked in...I'm tired of fans who think they can say anything without consequence. Talk that shit and get fucked up. It doesn't need to be anything dangerous, it doesn't need to be a super intense, but don't get in a man's face and talk shit and think nothing is going to happen to you.
I say it was self defense, that guy was clearly out of his mind testing a 7' man and talking all crazy. Good for yoru Jahlil, way to defend yourself, he wasn't in the right state of mind. Wasn't stable.
He's going to get sued, becuase that's the world we live in. But it should just be a penalty with the law. Pay a fine, have your day in court, maybe some probation and let's keep it moving. The fucker talking shit shouldn't get a dime.
He got what he deserved.

Check the error on the front page. It's supposed to be Denzel Valentine (the ugly fuck on MSU).

...you all call the NFL the "No Fun League" and then you hate on the guy who's found a way to have fun.
I couldn't agree more.

It's right about now when the toughest decisions are being made...do I go for round 3? Or do I have dessert? Good luck with your decision. May I suggest, BOTH?
|1 hour 5 min ago||Well we were playing 3 DTs||
Martin, Heininger and RVB...
I disagree...they were a strong point of that defense. It got to the point at the end of the year where Mattison was letting them call their own plays at times.
They were awesome to watch and just as good as this DL for much of the year.
The difference wasn't the DL, but the secondary. We of course had no Peppers, but we had no Lewis either.
Watching the OSU DBs get behind JT Floyd late in the game was a "SMH" moment yet again. Floyd would be in a battle for the #2, likely the #3 CB on this team. He's basically Stribling.
The lack of speed in the BACK 7 was far more concerning, IMO.
|1 hour 9 min ago||The game was on ESPN Classic, right?||
|5 hours 55 min ago||His mistakes||
Always seem to be in crucial situations. When Jake Ryan always got the 3rd and 1 stop...Bolden is always 2 steps late.
I've been beyond unimpressed.
And I know Durkin is god and saying something negative about him is a collective GASP...but I've been underwhelmed with the work by HIS LBs, that's the unit HE coaches.
Now, I give him a pass because I think he requires a special type (more athletic) LB and his scheme doesn't work for your prototypical B1G slobberknocker...but Bolden and Morgan aren't good, I'm sorry. They're average B1G LBs who should be good going on great their senior season.
Pray we finished with a couple top recruits.
|5 hours 57 min ago||Hey haters||
That guy that was in the Michigan locker room...the guy you thought it was cool to go "who is Big Sean?!!" like you actually wanted to know who he was when you could've googled him in .5 seconds...that guy?
He's the guy performing right now at halftime of the Lions Thanksgiving game. Whether you like him or not, it was a big deal to the players and he's a big day in today's music culture.

About Charlton at WDE...it's was SUCH a point of weakness trying to play LBs there. Charlton has the physicality and athleticism to hold up there for a couple of games. I think he's the starter next year.
Such a great move by Harbaugh and Durkin and Mattison. We needed to get bigger on the line and Charlton, Hurst, Henry, Wormley is by far our best line.
|6 hours 24 min ago||Best part of the UFR||
SUBSTITUTION NOTES: Charlton moved to buck/WDE.
|6 hours 26 min ago||I'm down with some JW appreciation||
He's probably the most underappreciated player on the team to be honest.
In regards to Peppers...he just doesn't have great deep ball skills. It wasn't just the touchdown. He's shown it on offense as well. It'll come, but right now his biggest impact is by far playing in the box.
We only play 2 LBs anyway...so I see no problem keeping Peppers in the box full-time. In obvious passing downs let Thomas or Wilson come down and man up with the slot WR while Peppers blitz or play zone.
The slants aren't his fault...the LBs have to drop into the passing lanes, they haven't done this all year - which is frustrating, because you know they can do it (see Des Morgan INT @ UConn).
Now Peppers as a redzone NB, no problem...because there's no threat of a deep ball.
Regardless, he's the best athlete we have on defense and the 2nd or 3rd best player (Glasgow is REALLY good) we have on defense. It could be A LOT worse.
Sidenote. I think teams are 0-13 with screen passes versus Peppers. That's insane.
|10 hours 28 min ago||I want to be clear...||
...if your goal is "average" ...those pre-Trey Burke Michigan teams, then we're fine, all is not lost. We can still be "that team."
But if this wants to be a championship program, an elite program, not happening. Just missing too many essential parts. I don't care who the coach is, the roster just isn't good enough and isn't put together the right way.
The nice thing is, you can turn it around quickly...the bad part, we don't have room.
This team still can beat anyone...no question. That's not what I was saying, so if you read the "hot takes" and think I'm saying we can't win. No. We can beat anyone, especially anyone in the B1G. But consistently? Not happening. The pre-Trey Burke teams were good for 1-2 quality wins. This team can do that easily...but not enough of them, and there will be just as many shit losses that hold us back.
|10 hours 40 min ago||He's not a post player||
He's a SF playing out of position like GRIII.
|20 hours 16 min ago||I don't know why people are surprised||
We didn't even make the NIT last year.
There are fundemental things that are just flat out wrong with this team...and sure, they're going to beat 2-3 good/great teams and you're going to say "SEE!! LOOK!!! I Told you so!!" But it's not going to make up for the rest of the year.
I still have hope we pull out that #7 - #10 seed I predicted and make it to the Sweet 16 with a hot shooting upset over a #1 or #2. That's the bar for me.
|20 hours 27 min ago||In the end||
Zak Irvin can't go 1-10 with 2 points and we expect to win.
Duncan Robinson 1-8, 1-6 from 3
Aubrey Dawkins, 3-10
That's ass shooting...doesn't matter how good the team is. Those are Kobe 2015-16 numbers...and that's not a compliment.

The starting lineup is finally Doyle, Dawkins, Irvin, LeVert and Walton.

To wear dark at home during special occasions.
The yellow is still considered light, so you can wear those at home without permission. You can wear light grey at home without permission as well.
|1 day 5 hours ago||Bullshit||
It can EASILY be targetting when you hit a defenseless player who's going to the ground.
I'm not saying that's what happened, but it has nothing to do with whether the player is going down or the player IS down.
You comment makes no sense.
I know if Rudock was falling to the ground and Joey Bosa comes and launches himself at Rudock, helmet first and they make contact...I will be kicking and screaming that that MF'er is thrown out the game. He doesn't need to be on the ground for it to be a penalty.
He needs to be ON THE GROUND for it to be a LATE HIT...those aren't necessarily the same thing.
|1 day 5 hours ago||When he's clapping||
I think he's just getting himself hyped up...but I can't defend him (even though I don't think it's a big deal) when he gets up in the face of the opponent and their facemasks are touching.
|1 day 5 hours ago||That's just a late hit||
I don't think it was a late hit...like you said, he wasn't down. You can't get a late hit if you're not down.
But that doesn't mean they couldn't have thrown a flag.
IMO, it wasn't a big deal because he didn't even make good contact with the QB. But had he lit him up - I wouldn't be crying if they called unnecessary roughness, hitting a defenseless player.
Just like the play that should've been called for De'Veon Smith when 3 guys held him up while another comes flying in (while he's still up and before the whistle is blown) and lights him up.
It was the Indiana game...punk ass #33 with the hit.
Edit: Here is the play, I had to go find it because it still pisses me off that it wasn't called.
How many times have we seen Smith break out of that? Doesn't matter, what was done is a fucking personal foul 100 times out of 100! Doesn't matter that he wasn't down. It was bullshit.
|1 day 5 hours ago||I guess||
You missed the angle where Zettel's helmet hits Rudock first in the shoulder causing Rudock's head to snap down into Zettel's.
That's the problem...is it targetting if he you launch yourself, but miss the head?
Check out the replay angle that is opposite the main field view (i.e. coming from other side of the field.
|1 day 7 hours ago||Good question.||
Not sure. And in (NHL) hockey I believe it's flipped a few times on which you wear at home and which you wear on the road - I could be wrong.
Also, some football teams (LSU/S. Carolina) wear white at home rather than on the road...which is why it was weird when LSU hosted S. Carolina because they had to wear their road (dark) uniforms while playing in their home stadium - even though most teams wear dark at home.

Is make the piping on the shorts match the trim on the jersey...don't like how it's skinnier on the shorts.
Do that, and keep these jersyes forever. Make a maize and a navy version.
Just modernize the cut of the jersey like the top NIKE schools did last year...
Please MJ, please give us the throwback traditional Cazzie's with a modern technology cut and material! Please!
