|1 day 7 hours ago||No they didn't||
And no one does that anywhere... it's two different sports.
You're much more likely to find someone who's promoted a HS coach or a DII or DIII coach than someone coming down from the NBA ranks to coach college basketball.
It's not even close. You can kill that train of thought now, it just doesn't work like that. Maybe if your head coach in the NBA brings his assistants and/or they've worked in college before.
|1 day 12 hours ago||Nope, just UCF.||
Nope, just UCF. Unless you're talking Central Mich. I like my "central" schools. Waiting on a Central Hawaii.
|2 days 9 hours ago||That's what I was thinking,||
That's what I was thinking, it felt a little high considering it's the UCF game.
I'll hold off, if anything, I can't imagine that I won't be able to find the same seats at the same price later on.

|2 days 10 hours ago||Honest question...||
I'm looking for 2 tickets to the Michigan/UCF game. Any way to check what tickets sold for UNLV, BYU, etc. last year?
Right now I'm seeing a lot at $60-70/per ticket. I'm trying to figure out if that's a good price or if I should wait until we get closer to the season.
|2 days 14 hours ago||I don't like the "potential to be a stud" argument||
If O'Korn throws for 4,000 yards, 40 TDs and 5 INTs, he's got the potential NFL draft scouts would love.
I think there has to be some type of "already proved it" when predicting the future.
Otherwise, make Taco Charlton at top 5 pick. Because he's got all the measurables NFL scouts will love. But he hasn't done jack shit when it comes to being a top NFL pick.
Chesson played REALLY well late in the year. But I don't think he's already proven he can dominate at the college level. I think he's on the cusp of doing that.
When I look at 1st round WRs. I see guys like Amari Cooper, Treadwell, Julio Jones, hell even Braylon. Guys like Fuller, Docton, Coleman all did it multiple times.
Chesson hasn't showing that just yet...he absolutely may. Hell, it may even be probable. I just think the one game versus Hargraves is just a game. That said, I still had him as a 2nd rounder. But I do think there's a big difference between a 2nd round WR and top/first round type pick.
Look at Burbridge. He held his own versus a future top pick in Lewis...one game isn't everything. That said, Chesson should test a lot better than Burbridge. So if he can stay at the level he's at...he'll go high, no question.
I think we're all on the same page, I'm just not ready to put 1st next to his name even in a prediction thread.
|2 days 14 hours ago||Take McCray off||
The only reason I included him was because someone else did it below...I didn't put him on my list of names to consider, but thought maybe I accidently overlooked him when someone else included him on their list.
No, I do not think he leaves early.
|2 days 17 hours ago||Not to mention, he's a center||
How many centers leave early?
|2 days 17 hours ago||I hear you, and I'm not going||
I hear you, and I'm not going to argue with anyone over a shot in the dark prediction made a year in advance. Just thought it was interesting.
I'd say he'd be an uFA to someone like the Seahawks or the Falcons where they want big corners who play one half of the field.
If he doesn't start, he's not going to get invited to the postseason scouting bowls either. But you never know what will happen throughout this summer and the season.
Kalis or Magnusson, Gedeon, McCray, Stribling, Clark, Hill all get picked up as uFAs.
|2 days 17 hours ago||He's going to have to be dominant||
It's going to have to be him vs. Hargraves all season. I think that's a huge if considering we don't know our QB situation at the moment.
|2 days 17 hours ago||You really think Cole is going to leave early?||
He's got a chance to come back and solidy himself as a captain and one of the all-time best.
|2 days 17 hours ago||Some names to consider...||
J****** P****** (please win and Heisman can return to win another!)

Clark isn't even a starter right now, interesting...

How would you compare him to say...De'Veon Smith?

Here's a link....not sure how accurate it is.
|3 days 13 hours ago||Jeremy Cash and Devon Cajuste||
I'd look at both of them as well.

That would be an awesome pick up.

I'll have all of your fuck you chips as well.
Please and thank you.

As much as I feel...is it bothering you?
|3 days 13 hours ago||HOLY SHIT||
AM I the Lions GM?
I had Zettel to the Lions as well. I just had the wrong round. That's awesome.

Called Jake to the Lions in the 6th last night. Crazy.
|3 days 14 hours ago||CALLED IT||
First I called A'Shawn Robinson in the 2nd round on Thursday. Yesterday I said they'd take Rudock in the 6th.
|3 days 16 hours ago||Take Jeremy Cash from Duke||
Take Jeremy Cash from Duke here....the kid can BALL.
|3 days 16 hours ago||Love this||
Just like the guys recruiting to Rutgers are good.
Because these new coaches are going to have to prove it on the field. Just like Harbaugh had to.
Please believe, if we only win 4, 5, 6 games...we would've lost a bunch of our class to the big boys. Same will happen to Maryland and Rutgers. So good for them. But you're going to need to show the progress you're promising these recruits.
|3 days 16 hours ago||You didn't.||
|3 days 21 hours ago||I just think they need||
I just think they need another interior OL, period. Whether it's Swanson or Glasgow that is the starter's level backup on the interior is up to coaches and whoever plays better. But get some options in there.
Just because it was year 1 in a poor system doesn't mean he's automatically going to put it together this year either.
Regardless, it was a solid pick, IMO.
Stafford has proven what he can do with a solid line and what he can do when he doesn't have a solid line. Keep his jersey clean, period. You need 3 starting OTs and 4 starting interior lineman unless you have a backup that can play 4 positions on the line.
Going into the second with 5 starters or in the Lions case, 3.5 starters, and a prayer and a wish is silly.
You don't have to go 2-deep. But you need some depth. Detroit's been burned in recent history by assuming 5 was enough on the line. It's like having just 2 WRs. That's stupid. You don't need pro bowlers that are backups, but you need some solid options, preferably young rookie contract type guys.
|4 days 7 hours ago||My hope for the Lions (part II)...DO NOT TRADE PICKS||
|4 days 7 hours ago||IMO he's a solid backup C/OG||
But he's not a starter.
Every year in this thread I say the same thing. You HAVE to have 6 starting OL. It's why I wanted the Lions to draft Taylor Lewan. Sure they were coming off a solid year with the OL, but they had no depth and guys with expiring contracts.
With injuries and free agency, you HAVE to have 6 starting OL.
IMO, Swanson is a #7 or #8 OL.
|4 days 7 hours ago||They needed a C. I would've||
They needed a C.
I would've just gone D and taken Evan Boehm or Jack Allen in round 5 to fill the C spot.
