...Mr. Katt Williams
(NSFW) (excessive use of the N-word)
But this clip made me think of Gordon's excuse this time...it just sounds like something he'd think of when he was smoking the good stuff. And as Katt says..."aint nothing worse than a smart dumb (person)."
|10 hours 1 min ago||I wonder||
How high Josh Gordon was when he came up with this defense.

Is I run Cover 2 Man out of the the 4-3, Nickel and Dime all day in NCAA '14 and you just can't stop it.
Press to give the DL more time, bring a safety up to spy the run...you go play action and my DL is there, you run and my safety is there cheating up.
I'll live with the few missed press coverages that get beat over the top for 10-15 yard gains because the QB doesn't have enough time to sit back and wait for the WR to truly seperate.
Start to run on me and I'll show blitz and crowd the line. May even leave a FB unmanned and blitz a LB every now and again.
Can't stop me. #Clamps.
|19 hours 32 min ago||Why?||
Morgan is pretty damn good.
It's LB...they're both going to play a ton of snaps.
Ryan is probably the only guy that won't get almost equal snaps with the other guy at his position.

You lose. ARG! I can't wait until you have to go back to school.
Keep riding that Troll Train.
|22 hours 22 min ago||You're making this absurd comment off of ONE picture.||
Did you actually watch the football team last year? That man has tree trunks for legs.
You've taken one picture and assumed that all he does his bench press, eat steak and spinach, and drink muscle milk all day.
|22 hours 30 min ago||Top heavy?||
Have you seen that man's legs?
Don't believe what you see from ONE picture.
|22 hours 32 min ago||Fair enough...||
But I've seen nothing on the field or otherwise to suggest that Green is "obviously" slower.
How do you say obvious? I mean, I could be totally wrong. Did everyone else think it was obvious that Smith was slower?
I'm not doubting it. I'm just saying it's not obvious, IMO. It's not like someone saying "Devin Gardner is obviously slower than Denard Robinson." Well no shit, watch them on the field and it's pretty clear. Devin's fast, he's got a long stride, but he ain't Delithium.
For me, Smith and Green have looked about the same speed and I can't say one is obviously faster than the other. But maybe others have always known this. Maybe they've raced or something...I dunno.
|22 hours 39 min ago||Whoa whoa whoa...||
Pump the brakes...
I'm just talking about everyone getting so excited about looking a these guys and then analyzing it like crazy. Even guys who haven't played at Michigan.
It has nothing to do with guys with their shirt off...and it really has nothing to do with anything, it's not that serious no matter what side of the fence you're on, definitely not something I feel passionate about.
But this cult/meme that we have to show these pictures everytime one pops up, create a new thread and then check out the progress. It's strange to me.
Not photographing and documenting the progress, not even the kid showing the progress via social media. But I'm talking about us. The posters, bloggers and fans who eat this stuff up and some, IMO, a little stranglely.
Again, I have no real justification. But comparing it to the combine doesn't work. They don't post a hundred pictures of every guy shirtless and everyone go analyze them and comment on it.
Really it'll all go away in 2 weeks when there's actual football news to talk about, so I'm not worried. Just seems like every day we've got one of these and everyone gets all excited. I'm not saying stop, I'm not saying don't post, nothing. Just for me, I think it's probably best to not click on these thread when I know it's just going to be a shirtless young man and a bunch of MGoBloggers going "DAAAAAAMN" in some way, shape or form.
|22 hours 50 min ago||I think he wins this...||
Because they just gave Rice 2 games and gave a seriel pothot and idiot a full season. People have been ALL over them for this. So they now have a reason to reverse course.
But it's the NFL, they're stubborn and they don't get things right like this.
...I now DON'T think he wins this...

...a no no.
Contacting the athletics department about spring award?
|1 day 1 hour ago||This isn't a huge shocker||
Nuss had Ryan Kelly at C when he was at Bama. C is extremely important in his offense, and it is in any, but I know he really emphasizes it.
Put the best player you can get for that position at that position and let everyone else fill in around him.
Not surprising that we haven't been good (offensively) since the last time we had a good center.
|1 day 1 hour ago||Please prove this statement||
Because I call bullshit at the moment.
|1 day 1 hour ago||Great point||
He's the backup NT in my book, that kid is going to be ALL-EVERYTHING by the time he's done. I'm really excited to see what Henry, Pipkins and Mone can do at that spot. That's some serious talent. And Hurst! Although I think Henry and Hurst are going to play some at the other DT spot as well.
|1 day 1 hour ago||Makes perfect sense...||
Which is why Green was so frustrating last year, he couldn't get started. Make it even worse that he was 20 pounds overweight, but same premise.
I think we're going to need both of them, I want to see us run the ball effectively and just wear teams out. I know that's probably not realistic with this offensive line, but boy would I love to see both of those guys get 15-20 carries a game and both average over 4ypc. Then turn around and get Hayes and Johnson some run.
|1 day 1 hour ago||No.||
It's defintiely not likely...
But if the backup C is clearly your next best OL...it's what you roll with. There are just so many factors and we don't know anyones progression. It's not like NCAA Football series on EA Sports where you see +4, +3, +6 next to everyone.
You can kind of assume at other positions, but with OL you have no idea.
If I had to bet, I'd say there's no way you ever move your center. But last year we couldn't get 5 good OL on the field playing well together. If I told you that we'd only have 6 this year and one would be Glasgow who can play 4 positions...it really wouldn't be THAT surprising. It's be disappointing, but shit, I would've taken that last year.
If that was the case, I'd much prefer that Glasgow be the 6th OL and be plug and play, but if he's clearly your best OL, you can't do that.
Again, it's not likely, but if we say Mags, Bosch, Glasgow, Kalis, Braden, Cole and Kugler are your only 7 guys ready to play. Say Mags is dinged and Cole is in, and that just leaves Kugler. If Braden goes down, you're likely bringing Kugler in at C and kicking Glasgow out if Kugler is truly THAT much better than any other backup RT option.
Again, you can bang hypotehticals around til you're blue in the face, truth is...no one knows until after fall camp. Even then, only the coaches and people extremely close to the program know. Unlike almost every other position on the team.
This is why I didn't even list names in my position battles post below.
|1 day 1 hour ago||Around the same time...||
He was about 225 in the spring.
IMO, it's really not news except Smith will get the first first-team rep in the fall. Meh. There will be so much camp that everyone is still in it.
Johnson, IMO, was on pace to become the starter by mid-season (not sure if he would've held on to it, but I think he would've gotten a legitmate shot to win that job last year). In his few carries he got, he had everyone on this board talking about Mike Hart, then he blew out his knee.
Who knows how he recovers from his injury. Hayes is also going to play a huge role.
It'll be a 4 horse race for sure. I'm excited to see who steps to the front, it's there for the taking.

|1 day 1 hour ago||I haven't even read this...||
Just to have football content has got me all tingley inside.
I refuse to read this while at work...I'm going to go home, open up a nice bottle of red, dim the lights, sit down with my laptop and read this entire piece word-for-word.
Football is here.
|1 day 4 hours ago||He's suspended for App. State though, correct?||
Has that been officially announced?
|1 day 4 hours ago||Exactly.||
Which is why I didn't list some of the other ones. Because who cares who starts if they're playing equal snaps.
|1 day 4 hours ago||Well he still played it...||
So it's not out of the realm of possibility. It's not like he's never played the position before. For anyone to say he's not going to play there at this point is premature. What if Cole is Long/Lewan 2.0 and Mags is still a better option at guard? What if they just like his ability at the position? He's closer to the center and to the interior of the line at OG, what if the mental side of the game is what the coaches are looking for at that position? I'm just saying it's not THAT far fetched. It's not like I'm calling Keith Heitzman a guard.
Sophomore/Freshman (2013) ... earned first varsity letter ... appeared in 12 games as an offensive lineman, making seven starts at guard ... also contributed on special teams ... INDIANA (Oct. 19) ... made first career start at right guard.
|1 day 4 hours ago||I agree...||
But I don't think anyone on this board thought Cole was a LT when he was recruited. I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility at all to see him at LG with Mags at LT.
Mags was also a OT/OG hybrid type player when he was recruited. His first sanps were at guard. It's not out of the realm of possibility that it's HIM that's inside.
You never know with the OL...we get surprised every year.
|1 day 4 hours ago||Camp Battles||
I'm just thinking...what are all the camp battles that we have?
#2* WR: Chesson/Darboh
Last WR in significant PT rotation: York/Ways/Dukes/Jones/Harris/Dever
OL: Any number of players and each position
CB (pick 2): Taylor/Countess/Peppers/Lewis
Obviously a player (like Countess) could lose a battle and then factor in to another battle (i.e. NB or FS with Countess or Peppers)
|1 day 5 hours ago||That was pretty much||
The predicted line for this year all last year, so no surprises there. We'll see if Cole cracks the lineup and Mags moves to LG or if Cole plays LG and Mags stays at LT.
Still some possibilities of change, but this certainly seems like the lineup going into camp.
|1 day 5 hours ago||Glasgow can still be the #2 RT||
Many times when someone gets hurt or goes out, another guys kicks out or moves in to sub for that player and a player comes off the bench to replace the "replacer" who was already in the game.
