3 Star WR Eric Wilson of Redford Thurston is a monster. He dominated his game Thursday night on both sides of the ball. Not sure why he has not gotten any attention from Michigan.

What happens if a guys goes up for a ball, falls on his back and slams the back of his head into the ground? People are making a lot of money off these kids and they are still in high school. I have even seen 7-on-7s using middle school kids.
DR will not have a problem playing under center but DG may. DG has never played under center, all of the snaps he took in high school were in the gun. DR played under center in high school.

From what I have heard, which I understand is hearsay, there has been a rift amongst people in the EMU program regarding philosophy and recruits. In particular,the handling of a number of local recruits (offering scholarships and then pulling them) and the manner in which a number of kids on the current roster have been treated. I don't know names, but two different coaches have said this to me on two different occasions.

I have not an emotional reaction to a story like this in a very long time. I deleted my original post because it was full of rage and swear words. Instead, I tired to make the connection to the importance of extracurricular activities and those who commit themselves to helping kids. I have to say most of your responses have been stated much better than I could have written.

Saw a number of PSL games this year. Hankins is the real deal. I would say he was the best player in the city. He would be a huge pick up for us. The second most impressive player I saw this year was Kurtis Hawkins of Cody. Stud. He could flat out hit. One of the most physical high school football players I have ever seen. I have no idea where or if he is going anywhere. I don't follow recruiting very closely. I would then place Gholston as the third best player in the PSL. Just my opinion.
