I think, if were honest, we can say that the kid has gotten better since last year. Thats not a bad think, heck, our QB looks like he had an arm transplant.
I think its MSUs going on the road for the first time this season, for such an important game (for them), at our Big House is what will throw Cousins off his game. Lets make sure it happens!!!
but the university of michigan has a right to protect its trademark. This includes all designs, mascots, symbols, seals... even colors (maize and blue) and fonts that are associated with the UofM. There was a federal case about 15 years ago where Wisconsin sued some t-shirt store for making their own Buckey the badger t-shirts. (University Book Store v. Univ of Wisconsin Board of Regents. The school won.
As noted above, even colors and fonts can be trademark.
I have no idea what the NCAA allows... the the university prop has grounds to keep t's out of stores.
Re: Copyrights - the incredibly genius and creative designer of these great t-shirts has a copyright on the design, a copyright attaches to any original creative work. These designs are so incredibly original (maybe w/ exception of the use of the Goonies skull - which i still LOVE) the university could not claim its copyrighted designs were infringed upon. Still doesnt mean t's can be sold.

the game is almost always on thanksgiving weekend. I think there are a lot of out-of-state students who are no longer in town. They know they can make a few hundred $$ by selling their tickets.
as a student, you could say you lost your student tickets (or were not delievered to you) and you'd get an additional set. Then you have two tickets to your one seat.
I may have done this for a season or three... but obvioulsy, even if me and a buddy went with both tix, they would only be counting me.
I was at the 2003 game and every one of my friends pulled this two ticket tactic. Gotta think the attendance was "unofficially a bit higher" then what was officially noted.
the city of ann arbor for all my parking tickets for nearly four years straight.
Re: the game... their email was certianly vague, but you dont want to go to court to contest that. Besides, im sure i paid more to get the BTN to watch the spring game on tv then this parking ticket ... and you got to watch the game live.
Use this opportunity to teach the boy that nothing in life, including parking in non-adjacent lots, is free.
While you dont want to pay an attorney to contest the city's language re: parking lots, i bet if you didnt pay the ticket, they'd still let you back into AA. The AA police got rid of the wanted signs a few months ago.
and the reason that was stated on the ticket was "Michigan Bumper Sticker." Never paid that one...
Parking ticket in Columbus is still distant second to getting tazered by riot police in Wisco on Halloween of 2003.
but man, the memories....
most states, maybe even yours, have dog bite statutes which provide statutory liability in such cases. this makes it easy to legally take it to people who cant control their pets.
ALSO, regarding pet wolves (or Chimps - as we recently saw in Connecticut) there is often strict liability for the owners of a wild animal that injures someone.
Long story short, it sounds like your neighbor needs Cesar!
many caribbean hotels and flights will be cheaper if you wait till just after spring break ends. Its not their high season, great weather, gambling. Dominican and Jamaica have few all inclusives, Puerto Rico has like none. Id reccomend Dominican, Punta Cana has tons of inclusives for cheap.
Also, virgin atlantic is having amazing deals from anywhere into LAX (i just found tix for $99 each way). I took my girlfriend to So. Cali few years back, we rented car (convertable of course)... drove up to Santa Barbara did some vinyards, then went back to LA and even further south to San Diego. Trip was very fun... and quite cheap.
you already know the answer.
If Dixon got hurt, which is much more likely when he runs the ball, who would have played QB? Polk dono the plays and Big Benny was spinning.
Not a risk that you can take w/ no backup QB.
but having 110,000 fans creates a much different dynamic than 60,000 (which i believe is what USF stadium sits). Double the Trouble.
Plus, if they sold alchohol i could just imagine the law suits that would result when the first person slipps and falls from the entry gate at row 60 down to row one.
