I am in trouble......

I am in trouble...... Excitedly ran into the bedroom to tell her all about the game winner.... She was sleeping, and 9 months pregnant. Oops!!!

Edit: totally worth it!

As Poole as the other side of

As Poole as the other side of the pillow!

And Ohio St lost!

I love March!

But I know tons of slow white

But I know tons of slow white guys! Some of them are my best friends! Ive even had them over to my house!

lets keep it fun in here guys

Have to give Izzo credit.

Have to give Izzo credit. Most people cant pull off being a total ass. What a prick. Guess what Tom, Michigan beat your dirty program again! Tough week for Izzo.

I see what you did and I

I see what you did and I respect your moves.

I had to miss most of the

I had to miss most of the game, how much floor slapping did I miss?

Raging douche?

Raging douche you say? Good god man reread your posts! Your whataboutisms are making me sick. Everybody murders, everybody steals, everybody enables a raging sexual predator and a culture of sexual assault. Got it.

At this point, I don't care

At this point, I don't care who it is, just as long as he has some swag/fire/bravdo/emotion. King kong in a winged helmet! A leader. And the ability to make chicken salad out of chicken shit would be nice, since its my wish.

Agreed, but if they can at

Agreed, but if they can at least win the Big, hell just the division, its a start. Seriously, a National championship? Not even close at this point. Baby steps friend.

I agree with you mostly.

I agree with you mostly. Except about the championship level D. The defense dominates, until it doesn't, and like today, a big lead is gone. But they are so damn good so much of the time. Thats the most frustrating aspect. But a championship D doesn't give up 26 to South Carolina. But yes, the offense is terrible and does contribute to this. Like 5 turnovers...
You say championship level, i say really good. Whatever at this point. 8-5 :(

Oh hell no! Everything was

Oh hell no! Everything was fine until they put that bloomin' onion on TV!

I'd gladly take Carr over

I'd gladly take Carr over this.

Michigan football.... What a

Michigan football.... What a cluster.... Ill be back next season, so you can build me up with hype and recruiting starz, and twitter wars, and trips and window dressing; and I'll buy in. All of it. But like a cruel lover, you'll piss away 2-3 winnable games and leave me wondering why I still love you so.... See ya in the fall.

Well they either have to lose

Well they either have to lose them all, or something has to give. Harbaugh may be forced to win a tough road game, or beat a good team.... Hold me....

Which coach? Oh! The coaching

Which coach? Oh! The coaching that managed to piss that bowl game away? The coaching that gave up 23 unanswered points? The coaching that allowed a ho-hum offense to light you up? The coaching of a team that crumbles when it matters? Not good Bob.

Fuck. Fuck. Fuck it

Fuck. Fuck. Fuck it all.....snatches defeat from the jaws of victory yet again. I can't believe what i just watched. Is this a cruel fucking joke? Am I trapped in a nightmare?

The most poorly prepared Big

The most poorly prepared Big 10 team. So disappointed... Year 3 and this is it?

What An Epic Meltdown......

What An Epic Meltdown...... Win or lose, this is all on Harbaugh... So win it.

LBs played well. Worried

LBs played well. Worried about DL injuries.

Great game, we survive the injuries, this is going to be a fun season!

Evans hype for

Evans hype for real!!!!

Michigan football has a dominant D, thank you Doc Brown!

Freshman making plays,

I'm so happy!!!!!!

I am in such agreement with

I am in such agreement with you guys here. This complaint from Harbaugh does sound like sour grapes. It was not illegal, it was a great move on the Pats part. It still amazes me that brand new formations and schemes can still pop up in football. Sorry John, I really like you as a coach, but innovation jumped up and bit you.

And how did the Ravens miss this? Don't they have the printers on the sideline that print off formations and such? Why couldn't they adjust to this?  The defense doesn't have to notify the officials who is blitzing and who is dropping into coverage, thats for the O to figure out. I'm just surprised that it kept working, and that the Ravens D refused to adjust.

I feel like one of those guys

I feel like one of those guys who know nothing about cars, with the hood up, points to something and says

"that's the.."

"uhh huhhh"

"which connects to the.."

"yep"

"hmmm"

I love this site!

Hell no he doesn't! He has a

Hell no he doesn't! He has a piercing glare... I was motivated just watching the presser! HARBAUGH!

Harbaugh will meticulously

Harbaugh will meticulously draft brilliant gameplans coupled with extreme amounts of testosterone and intensity. The result will be a sort of dark matter that will be all consuming within the Big Ten initially, growing ever larger and more powerful. Until all of college football feels the pull of the mighty Block M. This system will focus squarely over the heads of Dantonio and Meyer. The sheer massive force generated will cause chaos from Columbus to EL. Brown Bear summed it up best... PAIN

Urban Meyer will start to re-think spending time with family. Dantonio thinks its a good time to ride off into the sunset.

Bring on the Harbaugh

Bring on the Harbaugh muppets! When its official, they will be the best muppets of all! If we get Harbaugh, this miserable season will be completely worth every painful frustrating second.

Right on DG!
I'm all for

Right on DG!

I'm all for trying to destroy the other team in between the whistles. But being man enough to know when to be human, is important to the big picture. It takes wisdom to know the difference. And experienced leaders teach that to the young guys.

Thanks for being classy and setting a standard DG.

And to the guy who thinks this was a calculated photo op: You sir, are an ass of the highest order.

I love the fact that you used

I love the fact that you used "audacious quirkiness" to describe what goes on here! If I could live my life totally engulfed in audacious quirkiness, I would consider it a life well lived.

In your initial thread, we

In your initial thread, we were embarking on a new season full of promise. Now you have come back to the well after a 5-7 year, in the middle of a coaching change. What the hell did you expect to find? Yes, your team is good. Our team wasn't good. And going forward? We don't even have a coach yet! Pointless...

I always wondered what Urban

I always wondered what Urban Meyer's nightmares were about. Now we know!

IT'S HAPPENING!

You know what? You suck!
Not

You know what? You suck!

Not you personally.

I like the aggressive stance

I like the aggressive stance of this wolverine better. I mean this guy looks like he will literally rip your face off. His eyes are piercing! This is the Harbaugh of wolverines!

Well Lloyd, that makes you,

Well Lloyd, that makes you, me, and the entire fanbase. United in Harbaugh!

I have my floaties on. Just

I have my floaties on. Just killing time. But my fingers are getting kinda pruny.

Yes, Hackett should take his

Yes, Hackett should take his time, but hurry while taking his time. Don't rush, but move with a sense purpose, maybe a little faster.

OH FOR THE LOVE OF GOD GIVE US HARBAUGH! I HATE LOSING TO STAEE AND OSU AND RUTGERS AND MARYLAND AND ND AND UTAH AND MINNY!!! WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED HERE!!!!!

On a serious note, I don't care about the timeline, just win baby!

Favorite moment, ND(UTL1) and

Favorite moment, ND(UTL1) and OSU of 2011 and 2012 Sugar Bowl, but what stands out the most in my mind is without a doubt.... M00N. I'll never forget M00N. We'll never escape M00N. It will always be there, looking down on....

Yes, your post nailed it all

Yes, your post nailed it all areas. Hoke's heart was always in the right place. Now, Go Blue!

In a weird way, and maybe I'm

In a weird way, and maybe I'm just a glutton for punishment, but the fact that OSU had two, then maybe a third qb ready to roll gives me some hope. Hope in that maybe our next coach can come in and give this team a kick in the ass that has them playing with some hate and attitude and masters the little things necessary to beating the best teams no matter the situation. Someone that will inject a little swagger and testosterone into these guys so we can be Michigan again! (not literally of course!)

Absolutely. Devin has been a

Absolutely. Devin has been a class act the whole way for this team. He deserves so much respect for the way he carried himself through the ups and downs of his career. His head was always held high, and he never allowed his character to suffer despite what was going on around him. Yes, a class act in every way. Thank you DG.

RR is kicking ass out there

RR is kicking ass out there in Arizona. That's great for him. He stunk it up at Michigan. Just the way it is. It didn't work here. Doesn't mean anything other than what did and is happening.

Finally an end to this

Finally an end to this madness. I'll miss watching Michigan football. But I won't miss watching this team. I'm looking forward to trying to forget what could have been in '13 and '14. At least with a new staff, the start of '15 may at least give us fans a feeling of righting the ship, though it may be ugly as well. I won't speculate on the next coach, but lets hope we can get someone who will foster a sense of urgency, a hatred of losing, and focus on the little things that make the difference between contenders and everyone else.

On Hoke... Of course we all know what's coming. But man, the depths to which this program has sunk on the field is just amazing. The last two years have been an absolute disaster.

So you are saying you CAN

So you are saying you CAN shine up a turd? Winnable games against NW Maryland and Indy? This is a turnaround for Michigan? If these games are just winnable... sheesh.

It's a turnaround when we can talk about the three upcoming speed bumps on the way to the MSU and OSU games.

I love that guy. He drives me

I love that guy. He drives me nuts sometimes, but man I hope he can finnish strong. I'm ready for Hoke to move on, but I want nothing but great things for Gardner. He's given so much.

Insert sinking ship remarks

Insert sinking ship remarks here...

So what's the worst part? 3-9

So what's the worst part? 3-9 or Hoke remaining? Damned future!

This is pretty much my point.

This is pretty much my point. Sacks allowed, ypc, etc are nice measurables, but the real issue here is the pressure DG has been under. Teams know they can get to the qb, and they do at ease. Our sacks allowed figure would be much higher if not for Gardner's athletic ability.

But the hits add up. A talented qb can have so little faith in his line that instead of looking downfield for open recievers, he has one eye on the line. This results in turnovers, missed reads, a total lack of comfort from your qb. Last year we lost because we had no run game. This year we lose because we have no ability to throw the ball downfield.

So yes, the line has improved in the run game, however, all gains are then surrendered by the sorry state of pass protection. DG's struggles are because he has been beaten to a bloody pulp last year and this year.

Life after MFootball- Screw That!

This is what I'm going to do. I'm going to try to think about M football only on an as needed basis during the week. I will frequent Mgoblog to make sure I'm not alone in my misery. Because we all know misery loves company.

Every saturday, I will don my M gear and watch my beloved Wolverines. As I am a glutton for punishment.

I will watch, knowing that the Mighty Michigan from my childhood/college years is dormant for now. I will refrain from swearing, drinking excessively, domestic violence. It will be long. It will be painful. And it will seem like this pain is NEVER going to end.

But one day it will end. We will be back on top someday. I'm only 32, I may/will live to see it. The rest of you? I'm sorry....... At least you had the 90s.

Yes, and the special teams, I

I agree,

Yes, and the special teams, I can't believe I forgot to mention that aspect of the team. Lots of issues there.

The D has been solid. At least with the D you can see the areas where just a little more improvement could move them into constant 3-and-out territory. Would like to see more forced turnovers though. If the offense was anywhere near as productive as the D, we are sitting at 3-1 or possibly 4-0 and we aren't discussing these nasty topics.

The biggest problem for the deffense is that they have zero room for error with the current state of the Offense.

I think Gardner is a great

I think Gardner is a great kid. I think he is immensely talented. I think he has been everything you hope a student athlete will become as far as being a man is concerned. I'm not sure what happened, but I hope he can find something to salvage this year. He has given so much to the program. When I think of him, I'll always remember 2013 ND game and OSU, flat  on his back after the two point conversion attempt. He gave it his all, and thats the way he always plays.

I don't know what the answer is for him, but I do know that I don't like the "love/hate" in the thread title. He may be having a rough year, but he has earned more respect than that.
