Beering by myself. Can't justify anything good. I need to leave this MF state.

Any possible way I could marry into your family?

Stanford seems to just have Oregon's number, which does happen between teams. They try to keep Oregon's offense off the field and they get jacked up on defense for that game, it seems.
This list is rather Big Ten-centric and would probably mean much more in the '90s. Today, defenses that can lock down opponents consistently for entire games are very, very rare. It's not enough to rely purely on a smothering defense and then eke out just enough points to pull out a victory.
I think there's also an intangible at play here. Rushing well and often wears down the opposing defense and is demoralizing over the course of the game.

Though I don't Tinder and I'm not a fan of the concept, if you don't suffer any permanent damage, I'm not sure there's much to regret.

Two-day bachelor party? Keep that constant buzz going. Stay safe!
I'm currently waiting to hear back from SpaceX about an on-site interview, and I don't deal well with waiting. That means cloudy with a chance of whiskey this weekend.

This is some serious projection going on. You were shown to be factually in error, so you're throwing a tantrum. Take a break.
|3 days 1 hour ago||Feelingsball?||
Take five, buddy. You're on the verge of making a scene.

You mean "amoral degenerate who is dead inside," then yeah.
|3 days 2 hours ago||Sure||
But like I said further up, it's because the product on the field would perhaps be worthy of the extra dough.
Brandon's utter lack of cognizance that the product on the field is clearly not (yet) worth price hikes and a three-ring circus is the aggravating part.
|3 days 2 hours ago||You make a good point||
However, the dude who sets the ticket prices should understand that he's serving up bullshit pie when he pretends that the on-field product and home schedule are worthy of big price hikes.

Why does Daniel Hardman look mildly bewildered?
|3 days 21 hours ago||Uh, changes?||
it's really all about the defensive line. If they improve, the defense should be stellar. From analysis, the linebackers were excellent when not eating blocks. The secondary should be excellent as long as Gordon's replacement isn't a black hole.
We get healthy Jake Ryan, hopefully Pipkins, and add Peppers to an already deep secondary. We have the bodies to be much more aggressive this year than last, which typically pays off in the Big Ten.

2012 was pretty disappointing overall, and yet people were far more pumped for 2013 than they are for 2014 now.
The change is disproportionate. The misery level is pretty high, and 1927 hasn't even commented yet.

Someone got a pole up their ass because some of the front page writers pooped on the "bench Gardner" crowd. This someone claimed this was tilting at windmills because this crowd supposedly doesn't exist.
Gee, I wonder where that someone is now? I've come across far more "start Morris" loonies than I could have imagined. I've even encountered someone who claimed Gardner sucked against OSU simply because we lost the game. There's something else at work here.
|3 days 23 hours ago||whut||
Might need your eyes checked, buddy.
|4 days 9 min ago||OSU is weird||
They have a ton of exceptional athletes, especially on the line, who look exceptionally poorly coached. They're good at releasing the Kraken on opposing QBs (or would be, if their secondary wasn't melting down half the time), but run defense is about sound fundamentals, and athleticism only makes up for that so much.
|4 days 22 hours ago||I'll give you OSU||
But after watching the painful Penn State game again, the coaches flat-out blew that game. Yes, offense scored enough to win (also, the defensive TD gave us the spark) and that last drive by PSU was crazy, but when you're up a TD with three minutes left, are driving well, and decide to go in a shell and fuck yourself out of field goal range for no reason and are forced to punt rather than go up 10, it becomes rather difficult to blame anyone but the coaches.
Also, Iowa was a travesty, but we went an entire goddamn half without scoring. AT IOWA. AND one of those TDs was defensive. That game's on the offense.

You have -201 points while I'm typing this, and most of those negs aren't mine, nor those of WolvinLA2.
I think your gloom contributes negatively to the atmosphere of the board. Also, it annoys me. Do I need any other reason?
|5 days 1 hour ago||What the fuck||
You whined last time I called you out on your misery, and yet you have done exactly nothing to dissuade that notion. In fact, all you've done is reinforce it. Even Space Coyote noticed and gave you a light spanking.
Enough already. Sack up and move on.
|5 days 1 hour ago||Ross I don't get||
For some reason, this blog gives him a lot of heat. He lead Michigan in tackles for most of last year and his job in the Under didn't lend itself to a bunch of highlight-reel plays. Maybe you just mean he'll make more big plays as a SAM in the Over.
|5 days 1 hour ago||whut||
The second two, fine, but Smith is very clearly the slower of the two big running backs. Green is quick for his size with good straight-line speed. Smith is a true plodder.
|5 days 20 hours ago||Heh||
Sounds like a bumper sticker on the car of every Rick's employee.
|5 days 21 hours ago||THAT blows||
I'm glad you were rightfully cleared, and I'm guessing this woman had more than a few black marks on her record.
It seems like the MO of the police is to arrest everyone involved in a physical altercation and sort it out later. I understand why they do this, but that sounds like a rough ordeal for you, your kids, and your new girlfriend.
|5 days 21 hours ago||Okay, tough guy||
But if you responded as I described, you'd be facing legal consequences. You can think you responded properly all you want; the law disagrees, as I understand it. That's my only point.
|5 days 21 hours ago||This makes sense||
I think I'm also correct in saying that if some dude pushes me angrily at a bar to get my attention because I pissed him off, that doesn't give me free license to pile-drive him into the broken-glass-strewn floor, stomp on his nuts, and then whack him with a bottle of whiskey.
|6 days 14 hours ago||Trollin' trollin' trollin'||
Remind me again how you haven't gotten banned yet?
|6 days 18 hours ago||Huh||
I guess the Bullough ordeal, while not an arrest, isn't enough to merit a glance.
Also, Dantonio doesn't just get a free pass for Arrest-a-palooza a few years ago.
|6 days 21 hours ago||I don't get it||
Who exactly is making the argument that McGary shouldn't have been punished? I think the "random" drug test round is suspicious, but breaking rules accords punishment, and I haven't seen any user or blogger argue otherwise.
Instead, we're arguing that the rules themselves are stupid. The NCAA even agrees to an extent, seeing as they changed their punishment for that offense immediately after McGary got his sentence. They're still stupid, but this entire thing was mishandled.
|6 days 21 hours ago||Nice straw man||
That's because I don't hold that position. Must feel good to attack an argument nobody's making, though.
Oh, it's only conjecture, but when a supposedly "random" drug test sweep hits a guy who never suited up before a game in which everyone knew he wasn't going to play, my skepticism alarm goes off.
|6 days 23 hours ago||Wait, what?||
So we're not allowed to be pissed off at the NCAA for having stupid, stupid punishments and apparently targeting an athlete who was never going to play in the tournament anyway? Is that what you're saying? Because F that.
I didn't bring up the legality. Public_97_Ivy did. I just used it as a jab unrelated to the McGary situation.
