Let's hope this starts a shift in recruiting momentum. Very happy for JB. He is such a great coach I can't wait to see him load up on top level talent.

Certainly not with recruits and their families. Maybe he losses credibility with fans that want to only be notified when a blue chip recruit is landed, but other than than I see NO downside to a coach getting excited about a new player pledging to Michigan. The downside only seems to be with a group that could probably use a reality check anyway.

Iman: I am a little worried about having to wait to see the field. You already have Peppers and Lewis at CB for a couple of years.
JH: Hey Pep, you want to move to Safety?
JH: If you earn a starting CB spot, you can start from day 1. Let's go try on that #2 jersey and snap a few pics with Chuck.

It sure sounded like he meant Peppers would be supporting him as a safety. It could obviously mean he is just a player that would provide support, or backing, but my first thought was that Peppers is talking to him as if he would be in the role of a safety for Michigan next year.

They landed 3 top 25 players yesterday. OSU will continue to get quality players and it their recruiting will improve.
I agree that until Michigan can start beating OSU it will continue to be an uphill battle for recruits.

I thought the same thing when I saw that play.

"Just don't ask Richard what he thinks of me now."

It comes from not filling the spot BP will now take in the 2014 class with another player. Yes, BP will count against the 85 total, but they will now take 1 less 2014 kid and that frees up another spot for a 2015 kid.

We need some. We have not scored in 10 innings. Come on boys!

He flipped that kid from upright to upside-down while driving him to the ground. JP might be good.

How are you possibly unbuckled?

I am pretty sure that I have read that they are freinds.

TD against OSU comes to mind. He also had a run earlier in the season where he made a cut that is just not seen to often on the football field. Those would have fit in nicely.

Ferns and Mone have both been on board for a long time. Ferns is all over social media and just attended a camp. Mone is out of site and out of mind. I think he could be the best interior DL player Michigan has had commit since Hoke came on board.

Combine that statement with his comments about answering the phone when he wants to talk to someone and not answering when he does not want to talk to someone! Sound like he is dropping VT.
|2 years 14 weeks ago||Hoke?||
Something tells me with Mattison and others on staff it will get handled before it gets to Hoke.

What a great game. NEXT!
|2 years 17 weeks ago||247||
I know that 247 had some VIP info on Garrett today. The tweet said it was new positive news for Michigan.
|2 years 18 weeks ago||Next year.||
We only took 2 last year and next year is supposed to be a small class also. If we only take 2 this year will we even have space to grab more than 2 next year?
|2 years 18 weeks ago||Stud LB||
That is kind of what we do now right? It is fantastic to get in on this kid early, and getting him on campus once already is great. I am glad to see that Manning is building relationships and getting kids on campus. Not hard to believe from a guy with his personality.
|2 years 18 weeks ago||Great.||
Happy to see another Michigan kid in the fold. His tape looks legit.
|2 years 18 weeks ago||All Good.||
He just committed.
|2 years 18 weeks ago||Believe it.||
Just like the Lions will get the top player on their board at #5 tonight.
|2 years 19 weeks ago||Hand is from Virginia||
Most experts have Hand with a top 2 of VT and Michigan. Peppers has a top 2 of Stanford and Michigan.
|2 years 19 weeks ago||Grey Shirt||
He accepted a grey shirt scholarship so he will not count against our scholarship number until next year. That could be why he is listed on some sites and not on others.
|2 years 19 weeks ago||Without reading the article...||
I would think every class wants to have their class be ranked #1. I will assume that this article was more about how they want to get the best group of guys possible together so that they can reach maximum success together. With such a small class this year I am not too worried about how the team ranks, but would love to see Michigan land a few real difference makers at possitions of need. Harris could be one of those. Hand and Peppers could too. Things are headed in the right direction and it is important for that to continue until the success on the field starts showing up.
Slight highjack: Are we kidding ourselves with Hand? 18 of 20 staff at 247 predict Hand to VT. That is a pretty high percentage for a player we are feeling like we have a legit shot at.
|2 years 19 weeks ago||GRIII to play the 3?!?||
If this is what they are thinking going into next year that things might look quite different next year. I could see GRIII spliting his time between the 3 and 4. Mitch playing both the 4 and 5. This leaves more minutes for Horford, Morgan and Donnel. It really creates a minute crunch for minutes at the 2 and leftover 3 minutes. Levert, Stauskas, Irvin for a spot and a half. They will be battling every day at practice for minutes.
|2 years 19 weeks ago||Awesome.||
Each player has to do what is best for them, but I am sure glad that these 2 choose to come back. Should be able to compete with the talent they will have next year. Wow, will they be young.
