Anybody know where/if they…

Anybody know where/if they are selling those hats our bench staff are wearing? MDen and Fanatics don’t seem to have them.

Mike in CO

Need to Need to brush up on my GIF skillz so I can turn this into Milla tickling my nutsack.
Second Coming Just watch. I bet he re-commits, just so the sports media can have a "Second Coming of Messiah" headline.
The Sparty version Back in the day when I was in the MMB, Spartans would shoot the WalMart Wolverine thing at us (despite the fact that we obviously, you know, actually go to school there), we would shoot back with something about Sam's Club Spartans, because WalMart owns you. Ahh, simpler times.
Not the easiest thing

to fap to, but close enough. Challenge accepted.

Rematch

I'm probably the only one, but Appy State at Raymond James would be cool for me once the Mountaineers join the Sun Belt.

Bathroom joke

A Buckeye, a Spartan, and a Wolverine are all standing at their respective urinals; the Buckeye finishes first and proudly states, "At Ohio State, they teach us that cleanliness is next to godliness," and makes a big show of thoroughly washing his hands.

The Spartan finishes next and says, "At Michigan State, they teach us the importance of conservation," using as little water as possible and only one paper towel to dry his hands.

The Wolverine flushes his urinal and breezes out the door, saying, "At Michigan, they taught us to not piss on our hands."

I know I'm gonna get flamed, but...

The way I see it, bring in Mizzou and Iowa State. They bring AAU prestige to the conference and two more easy wins for the top programs in football, plus another in-conference rivalry/named trophy game (Iowa/Iowa State). I now don my asbestos underwear and head for my fallout shelter.

Call me crazy

but this is how I (with relatively little conference knowledge outside the B1G) could see this shaking out:

Assuming Mizzou jumps to the SEC instead of the B1G, I could see Kansas and K-State coming to the B1G (Kansas b-ball in the B1G? Personally, I think it would rock, but I'm not a roundballer, either).  Part of me was thinking ISU, too, which then leaves a spot for ND.

But assuming ND doesn't get shaken by the complete dissolution of one or more conferences (The World's Leader is hearing rumblings of an ACC collapse and Big East expansion to as many as 22 (!) teams), then maybe poach Pitt and Rutgers to get more East Coast cache and leave ISU to the MWC or WAC, along with whatever Big 12 teams don't want to hang with Texas and whatever alterna-conference they come up with.

Of course, this is all idle pudpulling, as Clemson, FSU, and Mizzou have yet to admit to SEC discussions.

Colorado to Pac-11

Well, now that Colorado is official, how long before Nebraska says f*** it and comes out with an official announcement?  I find it interesting that Colorado was the first official team to jump ship; it theoretically takes the heat off Nebraska.  Goodbye, Big XII, it's been real and it's been fun, but it hasn't been real fun.

For what it's worth, I'm with Njia.  This could be the start of something really cool.  Kinda like listening to the clanking of a rollercoaster as you go up the first hill... the Colorado announcement was that last clank as you crest the hill.  Hang on for a fast, up and down, twisty but ultimately exhilarating and awesome ride.

UM-MD or MI-MD

Would be my guesses

UM vs U of M regionality (and "the U")

Down in the southern tip of Florida, I was much dismayed that when I was asked about my undergrad experience I would reply "U of M" and would get in reply, "Oh, I went to Miami, too."  In my area of employment, we colloquially refer to U of M (specifically the hospital) as "the U," which is also (distastefully) how Hurricane alums declare their affiliation, especially the ex-cons who have moved on to the NFL.  And I've always equated Mr. Corso and other ESPN wonks referral to us as "Big Blue" as a feeble-minded attempt to equate the Wolverines to either the NY Giants or IBM as a ubiquitous, evil empire-type entity.

OH, that reminds me... "the Wolves"!!!!  I've seen and heard this nickname used several times in media. WE ARE NOT THE WOLVES!!!  The similarity between wolverines and wolves ends at being quadripedal fur-bearing carnivorous mammals. Not to mention, THE WOLVES are U of M DEARBORN.  [/rant]

Miami/Ft. Lauderdale

FWIW, when I was living in Miami, the local alumni group would meet at Shula's Steakhouse at Don Shula's Golf Club in Miami Lakes for all the games.  The club page at the alumni site doesn't say if they're still there.
