As good as the gurus have him rated, I have to see it transition into the next level. Not going to be disappointed again as I was with Grady. That said, I am unable to stop the mental pictures of him taking the handoff, blasting thru the line and using that vision to rumble for 4-6ypc.Looking forward to many, many 2nd and less than 5 to goes.If he lives up to the hype, the combination of Gardner/Green and a re-loaded O-Line could be lethal come mid-season.  b(s)ucknut fans------"By the pricking of my thumbs, something wicked,this way comes.";-)  GO BLUE!
16 weeks 2 days ago	Here's hoping--	you are correct. Have a gut feeling GR3 will stay for another year. THJ/Trey----That speech will have to be quite inspiring to keep them on board. BUT! This is MEEEECHIGAN and who REALLY thought Lewan would stay for his final season. Think you are right on when you mention Michiganmen and our propensity to keep 'em on board. Imagine if these guys ALL stayed and seniored out! You gotta dream right? Go Blue my friend !

A month to prepare, Denards final game, This kid and this team are going to play as well as they have all season, and there will be no whining about A.B's play calling come this time tomorrow. Think MAYBE we can give him a chance with HIS players, not a hybrid of what was and what will be. The future is bright. We got beat. We should not have. Maybe if we had Al on the O-line things would have been different. PLEASE!. Last week he was the zen master, this week, FIRE HIM!!!! Sounds waaay to much like an ohio fan to me. Keep a pleasant smile on your face, avoid eye contact, cheer as much as you safely believe you can and STOP at the signs of any B.S     This is a fan base that is 50% normal and 50% ---well, NOT. I has the misfortune to live in Gahanna, the S.W side of the city for 5 years. Age? 12-17. Place of birth. Ann Arbor Michigan. These people are delusional to the point of danger. That is a proven point. You're going to be surprised that an entire City can be so rude and classless over a Football team. 26 weeks 4 hours ago	So Far It Seems---	To be a bit of a wink and a nod in all I've seen and heard. I think this coaching staff, and the team know that if they just play as they are capable---they win. 'ohio'is the most tenuous undefeated team at this point of any season EVER.      Many a week(last!) I thought this was the one where the team living on that glacial plain they call Columbus would be exposed. Looks now like we have to do it. And do it we will. I've been waiting for the Denard/Devin show, and now, with 2 weeks and 2 games to set the framework; Borges gets to open his HIS playbook and show the nation what Michigan Football is going to look like in Ann Arbor. Kind of, D-Rob won't be with us of course. But how much fun is it going to be watching our offense Saturday?! I'm reaally not sure it can be totally contained. Or even decently contained as in ohio could win this thing.      Yeah theirs that Miller kid, but Wisconsin handed us a blueprint to stop him a week before 'THE GAME.' And trust me he's feeling last Saturday night. We have a team that dresses 17 Freshmen and plays several of them,.  For all intents and purposes Sophomores now. We have a STELLAR defense and a coach who's coaced under URBAN to set the game plan. We have a core of passionate Seniors who want nothing more than to win this game. 43 years of 'ohio'weeks and I've never felt more confident going into the 'Shoe.'      Everyone has their take on this thing. Team 133 vs. ohio. Remember this post;-) and you can say you saw it here first-----41-17 BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!
26 weeks 2 days ago	The side of the road...	This is an excellent joke when told correctly. This is not that version. An ohio fan and a MICHIGAN fan, happen upon a tragic scene, a dead body on the side of the road. Both call 9-1-1. Both get out of their cars and see a the victim is a female who is dead and unclothed,  lying on her back. After a short conversation, out of respect, the Michigan fan places is scarf over her chest and the ohio fan places his hat over her lower body. The Sherrif arrives and takes a closer look at the crime scene. As he inspects the body he removes the scarf, inspects, quickly and replaces the scarf. Then he moves the hat. He stares at what he see's at length,all the while shaking his head. Finally the Michigan fan speaks up and asks for decency sake for him to replace the hat, he does. When the Michigan fan asks what the big deal was, why he had examined under the hat so long, the Sherrif replies--" It's just that in 20 years on the job the ONLY thing I've ever found under an Ohio State hat is an asshole."

1 year 15 weeks ago	Diamond to Auburn...	I hope the "we get one, not both" holds true. I'm happy with the current class but Kozan would be a nice addition ! Either way we're headed in the  right direction. I always told anyone who would listen that 2011 would be the year. Just really thought they would give R.R that 4th year. Now......Loving me some Brady !
2 years 32 weeks ago	Be calm, carry on.	I'm smiling. We all knew how potentially bad this defense could be. M.S.U was a hiccough. a very unpleasant one. but nothing more than that. The very near future is very bright for us Michigan fans. I saw several reactions yesterday but for the 1st time in years I had this internal smile. These are 18-20 year old kids who are just reaching the halfway point of their true freshmen seasons in many cases. Granted they(entire d) looked terrible at times. Bad, Bad game. All the fundamentals seemed to be forgottten. For what ever reson we had a bad, bad, game. We never had a chance of getting out of this with less than 3 losses and nothings changed.  "7-5 is more like it ", or, " They'll be lucky to make a bowl" I'm sure is the current Michigan state of mind. I for one have faith that what we have here is a football team that juuuuust happened to have a bad day. Yes we lost and we lost to msu....BUT ! The loss wasn't as ugly as it may have been percieved by many fans and every "pundit" on the tube. I,  like many a rational fan, had settled on 4 as the give or take #. I'll take 5-1 all day. From what I've seen, and I've seen alot, this team  may very well go under the 4. I once believed Iowa was a probable loss; now, probably not so much. These kids have a perfect blend of swagger and humility that creates an offense that is as pretty as it gets  when it works...Which is does most of the time, just not so much Saturday. The defense never works and we're gonna be in shootouts all year. Saturday the defense had stops  early. Sans the miscues we're way up at half and are able to at least maintain that cushion and get the W. . I haven't looked at the game a second time yet but i remembering thinking how deflated the defense must have been in the 1st qtr. They finaly get a couple stops and for virtually the 1st time all season the O sputters.  Momentum is everything. Young kids, bad day , nooooo biggie. We know the wrath that will be MEEEECHIGAN. Let them grow up. Support all of them. I know it's hard (at least for me) not to deride certains "players", but the garden is not completely weeded out. When we hit that turf next year it will be with Rich Rods TEAM and not a hybrid of two systems that couldn't be more radically opposite. Next year everything that was old will be new again, across the board. The garden, though still young, is due to flourish in the next 2 years. Gonna be some paaaaaaaainful losses on the way. So be it. Just get better every week. They will, we will,  and just think how beautifully this babies gonna hummmmm in 2012.  I think the "experts" and 10,000 pointers will disagree but I believe the Hawkeyes are walking into a snake pit  this weekend. That said, win or lose, we will  play better.and I'll stick with my 3 as a give or take #.  This is the 40th team I've followed and we are witnessing something very special. Complete fruition with all players on tuition,2012, but its the between now and then thats gonna be fun.. Even this year has quite a few Michigan Moments yet to be realized. Yeah we'll cringe with our defense at times but "The Team"  is special and I look forward to what they have in store for us in the weeks ahead.                                                                          GO BLUE !
