My son has been in Germany since the beginning of September. There aren't any local pubs that carry the games so he's been logging into our cable account and watching them live. I'm sure you can track down a pub in Munich that will have the game on but I'd thought it pass this info along.
Honestly I like to be a glass half full fan. It's substantially more fun. Harbz and this staff could bring in the roster of a 7th grade PAL team and I'll root for them.
Baseball America does tourney field predictions throughout the year. The last one I read (a week or two ago) had 4 B1G teams in. OSU, Indiana, Illinois and Minnesota if I remember correctly.
A couple of thoughts on that...M would have leapfrog one or two of those teams, 4 B1G teams in the tourney seems high and there is no way 5 get in.
With that said, this was always going to be a rebuilding year and for Bakich to get this team turned around and playing the way they are is an accomplishment in itself. The future is bright for the program.
They got off to a dismal start going 4-11 before their 20 game win streak. A 20 game streak is impressive against any competition, but unfortunately M's schedule has been fairly week this year so the RPI numbers won't be there for an at large bid. IMO.
1 - He needs to find a way to stay healthy. Can't get on the field from the trainers room.
2 - Because of his lack of experience the game still move pretty fast for him and he looks to try to the 10 run home run every time he touches the ball. Getting him enough experience to slow the game down would be a step in the right direction for him, IMO.
My point, which I didn't articulate very well, was that they have to find a way to get W's as a team without your #1 pitching. I wasn't trying to bash Blanco and the other ladies but I can see how it read that way.
Probably happens to more guys than you think. (Raises hand)
Good job on the cutting out soda and healthy habits. I did the same thing over the winter when I had the Blah's and what a difference it's made both physically and mentally.
The Welfare of the athlete and what's best for he and his family should be the priority. It appears that Asiasi really enjoys UM but if there are factors that warrent his return to Cali then the staff, UM, teammates and fans should support him all the way. Good luck to him in making his decision and going forward regardless if it's at UM or in Cali somewhere.
That was a great effort play on Cichi's part and then the DB made an excellent reaction catch. Some times you just have to tip your cap to the other team for plays like that.

The program is sorely missing the Chris Fetter influence on the pitching staff. 65 walks and 14 hit batters in 79 innings isn't going to get it done.
Not finding it on Rotten Tomatoes
You go girl!

5 carries for 3 yards
Why not.....he's ate everything else in sight.
I've been curious how Saturday went for WD. Have to believe he didn't see much of the game while trying to kick out anyone that didn't have maize on.
Mostly true I think but don't kid yourself, I'd bet that a good chunk of the kids on these All-Star teams also play travel along with LL.

Per a quick google search

Don't call him Stan, he doesn't like it.
My money is on Zak Charbonnet
So Hoke only had 5-7 players while a year later Harbaugh had 10-3 players? Hmmm, interesting.
Also missing the number bluey ballz predictions.

Rest of the staff is 1-4. Have to get some W's elsewhere going forward.

Today of all days maybe a different headline would have worked. That along with the Bullets section just made me go "Ugh".

Justin Verlander and the 'Stros vs LA in game 5 of the World Series. Tough Choice.
I'll pull and root for M 'till the bitter end. Last night doesn't make me any less of a fan and I won't be behind this team any less than before.
Although the last part seemed kind of stalky.

This is excellent news.

Or have you been asked what's going on in a program when there appears to be a coaching change possible prior to signing day?
If so, how do you handle those while being impartial?
