This list is completely arbitrary and not a genuine analysis of the relative merits of state fossils.

I just saw that...but you know, judging from the song that's playing on his homepage, I think VPI can have him. |
| 4 years 43 weeks ago | hyper whites... | I see how that could work, I would personally like to see us move to a hyper-white uni. White jerseys with maize numbers trimmed in blue, and white pants...ooooooooo young biscuit! |
| 4 years 43 weeks ago | That's a pret-tyyy, pret-tyyyyy ignorant thing to say... | I really feel like for it supposedly being 2008, a bit too much is still made of race in sports. You saying you don't think McGuffie is going to be good, because you can't think of another good white RB is pretty damned flawed. So would you also say that white people are inherently (that means solely on account of being white) better QBs than black people just because most of the greats you can think of are white? That is precisely the type of thinking that made it impossible for there to be black signal callers for so long. Anytime you start to ascribe characteristics and put limitations on a person doing something just because of their race, you should know that's a very dangerous brand of thinking. Say he can't play the position b/c he's too slow (which he's not) or because he's too small (185 coming out of high school, so size is fine), but don't say he can't play because he's white, because at the end of the day, skin color has nothing to do with what a person can or can't do. Leave that kind of thinking for the Buckeyes. And Dex, I'm with ya...and it's only because we're all friends and family that I'm making the correction; Jacob, not Jordan. |
