C'mon guys

You totally glanced over the last part where I said I hope Michigan comes back because the Big Ten is better when Michigan is competitive. I like Michigan. They were always kind of my second favorite team until PSU joined the conference.

I'm sure you guys will be back. I just don't think it's going to happen under Rodriguez. And yes, I'm aware of PSU's struggles the early part of the last decade. I didn't think they were going to pull out from that under Paterno either.

Regarding the two seconds Regarding the two seconds Paterno asked for... If I had been asked, I would have totally ducked the question. Believe it or not, I never saw the game. My wife had a wedding in her family out of town, so I was sitting in a Chapel frantically updating my cell phone with the score. It hung on that last 0:01 for about 15 minutes before it finally gave me the final. I'm sure I taped the game, but I could never bring myself to watch it. So in all honesty, if you had asked me about Paterno asking for two seconds, I would have told you I have no idea what you're talking about. Generally I never bring up the two seconds except as a joke. Penn State had plenty of opportunities to win that game. But we did totally get hosed in 2002... (exits the blog before getting pelted with debris)
Hey thanks for the kind Hey thanks for the kind words. I think that's the nicest thing a Wolverine fan has said to me all week. If it sounds like I'm completely ducking one of Brian's questions, it's entirely possible I didn't hear it as his volume was really low in my ear for some reason. All I heard was "mumble mumble Sean Lee mumble injury mumble mumble mumble to play?" so I kind of just ran with it. You may even hear me ask him to repeat a few questions where I didn't get that much. Anyway, thanks again, Brian, for having me on. Always enjoy doing these things. Good luck on the rest of your season.
I've been to Michigan And I'm pretty sure those girls are safe in wearing those shirts.
To quote Brian "Though this site has sparred with BSD in the past, Mike remains one of the true gentlemen of the college football blogosphere." http://mgoblog.com/content/2008-cfbas-best-big-ten-blog
Geez what did I do? I didn't even write the lacrosse post. I'll be the first one to tell you I don't know a damn thing about lacrosse.
For the record I grew up near State College. Not Pittsburgh.
Penn State PSU actually has a very good food sciences program. I'm not surprised they would host a conference at all. I agree with the Cafe 210 West on Friday night. Get a pitcher if Iced Tea and you'll be messed up quick. Happy hour is from 6-8. Then go down to the Skellar on S. Pugh St. When you're done drinking for the night head up College Ave. to Ye Ol' College Diner for breakfast and a grilled sticky. I'll be in State College on Monday if you're still around.
Schiano The interesting side story to all the Schiano to PSU rumors are the multiple reports from recruits saying the PSU coaching staff is assuring them Joe's successor will come from the current staff.
