The way we do it is if the player is on the line or one yard off the line(like a wing back) it is "12". If the player is more than one yard off of the line it is "21".
Without getting into any names....what is the most scandelous recurting story you can't really repeat....but maybe could give some vague details about (women, cash, gifts, etc).
The weakside power play (Clip 25) that was blown up is an example why tempo is so advantageous. You can see in the clip Kalis most likely telling Mags his responsibility to cut off the DT right before the play starts. Standard power rules tells Mags his to cut off inside penatration first. Hard job to reach that far if not impossible. As the play unfolds Mags blocks nothing. But with the playclock running down the choice is burning a TO or just seeing what happens on the play.
With tempo you line up and a coach in the booth is going to see weakside power is a no go. Changes play to whatever and offense stays ahead of the chains.
1. Hoke knows the spread offense is better than manball but cant change to the scheme for numerous reasons...one being it is seen as RR's offense. But he is smart and knows it is better.
2. Junior year Henson was the best QB I have seen at Michigan and it is not close.
3. Mattison is good coach but coaches dont allways age well.
4. Hoke is a very good head coach...one of the best...but needs a good OC. Most head coaches only have expertise on one side of the ball...i dont fault him for this.
5. I hate people who say "you think you know more than a college football coach" It is lazy thinking.
6. At least 2 or 3 Carr teams after 1997 could have one a national title with a different coach.

This is true and sometimes not true. It is opponent dependent.

1. Where does most of your info from? (Coaches, recruits, current players, parents, collegues etc)
2. What has it been like trying to get inside sources on Harbaugh's staff versus Hoke's?
3. Do you know where the other insiders get their info from?

I agree about the tradoff. Just my tempo bias.
