21 weeks 1 day ago | We fumbled on the goalline. |
We threw a pick 6 deep in our own zone. We gave OSU life when they were dead. Bad coaching and bad execution lost us the game. We need to stop blaming everyone else. We are not getting it done and it's embarassing at this point. We need to win big games. We haven't in years....but we've got a ton of excuses as the why. Why need to tighten our asses up. All this hype and noise is not adding up to on field performance. Wisconsin is winning with 2 and 3 stars....and freshman skill players...... |
21 weeks 1 day ago | Opinions may differ. |
1-5 vs rivals. 4 loss seasons with rosters littered with top 10 talent. It's not okay. The expectations need to change around here. Less hype and more substance. |
21 weeks 1 day ago | #3 |
Stop with the excuses. Senior QBs...upperclassmen linemen and backs. Experienced pass catchers. Defense loaded with experience. There is no excuse for 8-4 at Michigan. It's a failed season. We did less with more. Wisconsin get a fraction of our talent. They just coach it up a lot better. Penn state and MSU also. This staff is consistently out CoachEd and it's gotten old and stale after 3 years. |
21 weeks 1 day ago | Having an Oline that can't protect QBs... |
And 5th year qbs that cannot execute simple schemes tells us enough. This staff cannot come back in tact. Changes needed now. |
21 weeks 1 day ago | Demanding a national title is arrogant and ignorant. |
Demanding a B1G title for the first time since 2005 and in year 4 of Harbaugh is not only justifiable but that damn floor. |
21 weeks 1 day ago | Terrible attitude. |
This is #Loserblood. These kids don't come to lose to Ohio state every year. Expectations need to change around here. This is simply not okay or acceptable. 8-4 exceeds expectations? That is a complete damn joke and anyone who thinks that is part of the problem. It's time to cut the BS....cut the hype...the overseas trips and start winning damn games that matter. It's that simple. QB position being incapable of making plays falLs squarely on Harbaugh. |
21 weeks 1 day ago | It is what it is |
Harbaugh should have the qb ready. John looks totally lost out there and this isn't all on him. 5th year guy. |
21 weeks 2 days ago | Mediocrity is evidenced byou accepting defeat before kickoff. |
Iowa smoked this Buckeye team. Harbaugh is paid a ton of money to win these games. Other coaches win these games with less. It's time step of and win one that matters. The excuses are disgusting anymore. This is either Michigan or we are simply smokescreening the college football world with bells...whistles and trips overseas. Win the game. Iowa did. So can we. |
21 weeks 3 days ago | Perine. |
Cousins moving the ball well in a nice home matchup means red zone chances for Perine. |
21 weeks 4 days ago | Kupp. |
Sammy will draw the Saints best corner and Robert Woods is out. Kupp will hey at least 10 targets in what should be a shootout. He's a good bet to get in the end zone. I'd go Kupp. |
21 weeks 4 days ago | How about this lineup? |
MAAR This would help us bring the young pgs and Poole along as well as Livers. Can't run this lineup all game obviously but this makes us tough to guard and big defensively. |
21 weeks 4 days ago | Really hope Fisch returns. |
That is all. |
21 weeks 5 days ago | The returning starter argument is overblown. |
McCray....Hudson...Kinnel...Hurst...Gary...Mone....Winovich....Furbush....Cole...Bradeson....Speight....Evans...Higdon....Crawford....Bunting....Wheatley....Poggi.....Perry to name a few all played significant snaps. Michigan has a lot experience on this team. If younger players are being played over older more seasoned players. That's a coaches decision and falls back on their ability to prepare players. |
21 weeks 5 days ago | Youre right. |
The talent has to be cultivated and developed at a higher rate. Lots of folks keep touting youth as the reason for the drop off. Championship programs win with freshman and sophomores. That is where we need to get to. We have all the amenities and niceties to accomplish this. It just needs to get done. |
21 weeks 5 days ago | I do think that we are quick to excuse. |
Our expectations have dwindled from the historic standard in my opinion. It's just Okay to go 8-4 at Michigan now. It's okay to lose to all of your rivals and to lose games by multiple scores. If that makes me a bad fan or crazy to contest that then I will just have to wear that hat to church on Sundays. We should do better. |
21 weeks 5 days ago | "Assuming a loss to OSU"...... |
Look at what you just wrote. How is the hell is that in any way acceptable at Michigan. Iowa blew out OSU...but we are supposed to just lay down. This is honestly crazy. This program needs some serious fire. Not hype and headlines but some goddamn fire. |
21 weeks 5 days ago | The sky is not falling. |
Michigan has a chance to win 10 games this season still. But to say that it's just Okay to lose to your rival when they kicked off their best players before the season started? A game in which we had two weeks to prepare for? One that we threw 36 times in terrible conditions with an ill-prepared backup qb? That was not okay and that loss was self inflicted. Articles like this indirectly cover up losses like that as if they were legitimate or excusable. That loss was neither. The Wisconsin game revealed a team that appeared mentally incapable of overcoming the Peter's injury. There was no fire once he left. Losing is not the issue. It's the manner in which these games are lost...the manner in which players are rotated and the subsequent results. Losing 3 games is not the end all be all. Michigan should only have 2 losses if that and the Wisconsin game was there for the taking. When you look at the offensive numbers on this season they are staggering. 82 nationally I'm total points. 104 in sacks allowed. 102 in negative tackles for loss. 109 in passing yards. 104 in first downs. These numbers are abysmal. We have to be honest here. Articles telling us that we are to expect those numbers and production from this grossly paid staff are simply not going to persuade those who look beneath the surface. These numbers should not exist at Michigan. |
21 weeks 5 days ago | The Michigan state loss. |
It should not have happened and there has to be transfusion of belief and expectations at this program. The team was in position to win in Madison....and should win given the "talent" discrepancy. The crowd acting like our offensive level of play is okay and pointing to excuses regarding injuries is honestly holding the program back. Expectations have NOT been met and there is no one player coach or group to assign the blame. Quarterbacks are being hurt here. There being hit viciously and have all year long. We don't protect them and that is an issue that needs to be addressed. |
22 weeks 1 day ago | 2018 is going to be loaded. |
But we were loaded last year too....and older than everyone. Our passing game next year will be as talented as we've seen in years. Running game should be good as well but we have to get a "Michigan" line that hell and high water protects their QBs. Run blocking has really improved but when multiple QBs are being taken out of games or being battered around.. that is not okay. Team speed will be better next year as well and back end depth and talent will be better. I don't want to comment on Harbaugh negatively and whether he's distracted. He is a head coach and is ultimately at the mercy of the ability of his staff. Our offense is 9th in the B1G. There is not a real excuse for that. Injuries happen. We just need to improve. It's not a time to be nasty but it is a time to look at what we are even demanding from ourselves. Michigan and it's fan base deserve to win Big games. We've yet to do that in the past 3 seasons. We've got another shot next weekend against a team that has been slapped twice this year. There is no excuse for us not to compete and have a great shot to win that football game. |
22 weeks 1 day ago | Michigan could and should be "Alabama North". |
I don't think it's fair to say our staff if awful or that our kids aren't good. It is fair to say that we've fallen short of expectations. We have. There is not a real reason why Michigan can't be a team in the Playoff race year in and out. I think a permeated self-established ceiling is what holds us back honestly. We don't expect to win big games like we should. The Michigan Standard should be higher. Our performance should match our talent intake. I don't think that's ignorant or too heightened an expectation. Someone explain to me why Michigan can't be great? |
22 weeks 1 day ago | We have to win in 2018. |
If not it will have recruiting implications and be indicative of our real ceiling. |
22 weeks 1 day ago | Fair points. |
Gotta block better. No WR coach at UofM is baffling. |
22 weeks 1 day ago | So true. |
Kid is going to be a good pro. Senior year from him is not likely. |
22 weeks 1 day ago | 2018 will be the measuring stick. |
This year could've and should've been different. Next year the talent will be seasoned and in abundance. I think the answer to Michigans ceiling under Harbaugh will rightfully be revealed next season. Staff adjustments are needed. Having the 9 best offense in the B1G is not what any of imagined. The biggest disappointment was the deflation after Peters went down. There has to be more fire than that. That fire has to come from the top down sometimes. Let's see how they do next week out of fairness. A bad loss to a 2 loss Ohio State team will rightfully warrant the heat it brings. There is $11million in 3 coaches on our offensive staff. It should show and we have a number of NFL bound athletes. Just looking for some more dogs at this point and also some more dog out of the team in general. We have too much fluctuation in intensity and that is not a mark of a championship program. We've got to get that fixed. |
22 weeks 1 day ago | Tough loss. |
But I will say that there are some trends forming with the program and we really need to put our best foot forward to win these games. I just don't feel that this is a talent issue. Hopefully the kids play with more passion and mentally tougher next week. We have to win a big game at some point here. 8-4 is simply sub-standard. |
22 weeks 1 day ago | The kids need to play with more juice. |
Not enough fire right now. Gotta make a stop and get a quick score. Need more emotion. |
22 weeks 1 day ago | Defense is doing everything they can. |
Offense has got to step it up. We are running soft and acting like we're cold. |
22 weeks 5 days ago | Horses win titles. |
This is Michigan's horse. He should not sit long here. Harbaugh loves mobile QBs. This kid is built like Cam. He comes from the "Crib". He could flourish here and take this offense to another level. I really hope he gets a chance early. |
23 weeks 5 days ago | That is water under the bridge. |
Karan never complained. Obviously I've watched this kid for many years and believed he could really help the team. His relationship with both Harbaughs right now is really good. Jay has personally given him a higher level of confidence and believes in him. This has helped elevate his game. It's very hard to separate your feelings when invested at this level in a kids well being and success. Harbaugh is an excellent coach. Karan is being utilized now to help the team win games. Any frustration that was there or not is no longer pertinent. This team can accomplish some great things going forward. |
23 weeks 5 days ago | There are some challenges for sure. |
But our staff is working to get these guys exposed and out of there. We've got players in a bunch of good situations and working on the guys there now. There are a lot of challenges though honestly. We've had a kid get shot this offseason. Had another get caught up some serious criminal matters. Our kids down here do have a tough road but they can make it. It just takes extra and increased accountability. |
23 weeks 6 days ago | Probably my fault. |
I likely argued with him at some point. It's direcTed at me not the kid. All good. |
23 weeks 6 days ago | I policed there for 4.5 years. |
We have had many shootings and per capita for violent crime...it is was worse than Miami for several years. This is hidden to protect the tourism industry to be honest. We've had multiple homicides....60 shots 5 hit....Bradenton gang shootouts...stabbings. The whole nine. Not trying to paint out the city as Detroit but there are violent crimes in a concentrated part of this city almost nightly. Almost all of our kids come from this. They see and deal with things they shouldn't daily. I'll save the stories but it is ignored by the media largely to proteCT tourism. |
23 weeks 6 days ago | It's directed at me not Karan. |
I've drawn some of this through disagreements with folks. It's not aimed at Karan. As long as folks know about the kid, I've made my own bed with folks on the board. Nobody has negative feelings about Karan. Totally good with it. |
23 weeks 6 days ago | The kid is running well. |
He knows the credit goes to his line. He is just taking advantage of his chance to help the squad win games. He needs to stay humble and continue to be a great teammate. He is part of a rushing attack that is really shaping up to cause problems going forward. Very impressed with the line ever since Drevno came down onto the field....they have been getting straight after people. |
23 weeks 6 days ago | That's his father. |
Senior has the Facebook page. Junior is off social media. His folks are really good people. |
23 weeks 6 days ago | Kid is acing 18 credit hours. |
Plans on anesthesia practice in the long run. |
23 weeks 6 days ago | All God's plan. |
Karan was meant to be here. He worked his ass off and is making good on his commitment. He got here by having the grades and the film. He was always a Michigan Man. Just a different breed. |
23 weeks 6 days ago | No rushing stats were ommited. |
The post was about the rushing stats. Karan doesn't return kicks or get check down throws to validly compare the other areas. He does average a yard more than Saquan and has more rushing TDs than him on 33 less carries. Saquan is the Heisman frontrunner so Karan posting comparable or favorable rushing stats to him is suggestive that Michigan has something pretty special. |
23 weeks 6 days ago | Meaningless how? |
Karan has obviously less carries but nearly equal yardage and more TDs on less opportunities. The passing and return exploits are not within the title of the thread. The number comparison was simply between the two as runners. It isnt barbed to Saquan. I think he's awesome. Used completely different than Karan. Karan has posted over 600 yards and 8 TDs since the MSU game. That is because he started accumulating more carries after the MSU game. Karan as a running back has done some great things with the uptake in usage. That is the merit of the post. Not saying Barkley is bad at all. |
23 weeks 6 days ago | No. |
The misconception is that my opinions come from the kid. I don't post what goes on on this site for good reason and would not post things to put him in a bad light. The parents and coaches of all these guys have a network. We sit together and talk frequently. Observations and opinions are formed from this. Player gripes or premises stay inside. They aren't for fans or people outside the circle. The common misconception is that what kids are saying is being reported. That is not true. Coaches and parents have their takes and they come from different vantage points. I think a common theme is that some of the posters here don't agree with how I look at things. Don't bring the kid into it. He is working hard...acing 18 credit hours and trying to do some special things. He doesn't complain or "report". Really unfortunate people think that so. |
23 weeks 6 days ago | The comparison was the Rushing for this season. |
Karan doesn't return kicks or have the paas catching role of Barkley. The comparison is strictly running production from the running back position. Karan averages a yard more per carry. |

23 weeks 6 days ago | Smh. |
Unfortunate that you actually think this. "Uses these kids".....that's a strong accusation. Using kids and families is one of the worst things that happens in this sport. |
23 weeks 6 days ago | Karan will have. |
Many more moments, God willing. |
23 weeks 6 days ago | Barkley is a great player. |
Super versatile and Franklin features him in a pretty unique fashion. The numbers will be interesting to evaluate at the end of the year. The kid from Wisconsin is phenomenal as well. |
24 weeks 17 hours ago | The Offensive line is blocking very well. |
There is some really good cohesion between them and the backs. Karan appreciates those boys and it's a tribute to them and their work when he gets into the end zone. |
24 weeks 17 hours ago | Ferentz is still pissed about that. |
Lol. |
24 weeks 3 days ago | Likely a good prospect. |
Has some great offers and interest but he is more of a slot size and at 4.7 that is going to be tough to work into the rotation here. There are a lot of guys maybe a few inches shorter with better short area quickness and speed. He may be a true outside reciever in some offenses and could certainly improve his speed with hard work. It will be tough here with what we have already. The Tight End sell is also tough given what we have already and his frame. More of an H-back type. Maybe he's being looked at as a Fullback as well. His recruitment will be interesting to see how it pans out. 4.7 isn't necessarily slow but it's tough to separate at that speed in the B1G. |
24 weeks 5 days ago | It's all very simple. |
Beat Ohio State. No reason it can't be done this year. Their offense was completely stymied by Don Brown last year. The running game is gaining momentum. Peters can sling it. The Big House should be rocking in a few weeks. |
25 weeks 1 day ago | It's all fine. |
I should know better than to post anymore. I'm a dumbass for even opening up the opportunity. Folks have opinions. Bless them. When I gets personal it's beyond the parameters of this board. I work the border of Mexico....nothing said on this board is that serious. I just hope Michigan wins and #22 plays his ass off. Yall stay blessed and Go Blue! |
25 weeks 1 day ago | Wow. |
Thanks fam! |
25 weeks 1 day ago | Peters being terrible? |
No sir. He has been the best QB since Spring. The mods are Mean Girls. Harbaugh has mismanaged...evidenced by today. You are taking shots on the net and making things personal. Maturity prevails and jobs are important. If they weren't you could get what you seem to wish for. Since that is childish and ignorant. I will say good day to you brother and wish you well. Great win today and looking forward to next Saturday! |
25 weeks 1 day ago | Wow. |
Hey, if 4 people like the comment. Must be gospel. Yall got it. Stay blessed. |
25 weeks 1 day ago | 51 carries. 334 yards. |
That is solid work. Quarterback was protected. Made throws and gained confidence. Great day for the offense in general. Nico shirt doesnt matter. Kid came here to play now. |
25 weeks 1 day ago | Great to see some Samuels too. |
He's a phenomenal athlete. |
25 weeks 1 day ago | Lol. |
Okay. Michigan is up 21 points. And you're mad at me lol. I'm nobody so unsure why youre upset. |
25 weeks 1 day ago | Been working on those hands. |
Gotta continue to improve in the pass game. |
25 weeks 1 day ago | Lol! |
Your opinion of me doesn't matter. Michigan playing better does. |
25 weeks 1 day ago | Kareem is hungry. |
Been waiting on this opportunity. Kid has a chance to be very good. Gotta add weight and get stronger. |
25 weeks 1 day ago | Alphonso Smith is doing great! |
:) |
25 weeks 1 day ago | I love Evans catching the football. |
This kid is being misused as well. He needs 10 + touches in the screen and short passing game. Him at slot is what needs to happen now. Get him Higdon/Isaac Nico...Dpj all on the field and watch the offense look like a friggin offense. This is NOT rocket science. Put the goddamn egos to the side and play your Dudes. We could be 6-1 and maybe 7-0 if we did this. |
25 weeks 1 day ago | Peters has been the most talented since Spring. |
Another baffling situation. |
25 weeks 1 day ago | Oh hi Nico Collins. |
Hi Tyrone. Nice to see our athletes being used finally. Shame we waited 2 losses to roll them out. |
25 weeks 1 day ago | Rocket science. |
College football is not hard. |

Play action off the run. |
25 weeks 1 day ago | Run the football. |

25 weeks 2 days ago | Harbaugh is a great coach. |
He has weak links on his staff and has made poor decisions in my opinion in letting some guys go and hiring others. I won't stand for writers blaming our kids. Our kids are elite. I know this as fact. They were recruited by everyone. They have NFL futures. We aren't coaching them up right. That's why we are 4th in our division. It's not because our kids can't do it. Blaming these kids is wrong. |
25 weeks 3 days ago | "Personnel Issues, not coaching issues." |
Get the hell out here with that nonsense. The excuses are insane. The game was a 1 score game at the half. Adjustments were made by the headsets and then a one score game became a blowout. Coaching is what schemes Mike Mcray on Barkley on wheel routes. Coaching is what fails to develop a passing game or run from gun and use spr W ad elements to loosen the Penn state backers and safeties. These Coach cover ups are getting out of hand. Harbaugh and his staff got worked by the Penn state staff. Anybody who watched the game saw this. |
25 weeks 3 days ago | I'm nobody bro. |
Our school has a ton of college ties and several former pro athletes. We are blessed to have a lot of exposure and it's only getting better. Michigan has come to see our boys a few times in the last year and hopefully a few of our boys will take care of the classroom and be Michigan eligible. Michigan is a huge deal down here and our area in general has a few Michigan level guys from year to year. Our 2018 recruiting is likley off because we have failed to meet the hype on the field and position coaches matter. Harbaugh works hard in recruiting and needs to be flanked with wolves to maximize his efforts. Harbaugh can get this right and I think he will. But it's hard to recruit with the very top when you don't win like they do. Michigan doesn't pitch a sexy youthful environment like a Georgia or an FSU for example. They win kids over through the actual program...coaching and game day environment. The Big House needs to be more "Live". Weather factors in and kids need overwhelming reasons to pledge Blue over Closer Southern schools. |
25 weeks 3 days ago | Inman. |
You attacked and I responded by stating counter facts to your insult. The kids I've had the priveledge of coaching are elite and not sources to brag about. They are counter to your claim of me being a pop warner football mind though. Never would ask anything of my guys or utilize them to make myself look cool. Ain't about me. I already played this game. I Coach and mentor these cats to help them achieve their dreams. Ask any of them. |
25 weeks 3 days ago | Brag. Nope. |
Never set out for personal attacks. I was called a middle school guy. Had the priveledge to coach many good ones. Simple as that. You can try and flip it to win your argument. You will still be wrong and fail to paint me out as you want to. |
25 weeks 3 days ago | Hobby horses? |
Crawford....Mcdoom....Kugler....Higdon...Issac...Wheatley...Bunting...Evans....Gentry....Kinnel....Hudson....winovich....Gary....Mone....Okorn....Furbush...Bush Jr. All are non starters from last year that played a ton of ball. Your pitching an excuse. Many of these guys I mentioned are upper classmen. Michigan was abnormally older than everyone last year with an unrealistic age advantage. We should have won a title with that team and still lost to a youthful OSU and FSU team. Your pitching an excuse bro. You appear the one aboard a hobby horse. Michigan doesn't have a youth excuse to lean on. When you recruit ELITE talent....you're expected to win with it. They should NOT take 3 years to get ready. That's why they're ELITE. |
25 weeks 3 days ago | I don't bleed my kid for info to be honest. |
I keep up with his life more than ball to be honest. Our Oline has some promise going forward but Likely a few years away. Lots of young talent flashes. Got a change to meet and talk with a number of our 2017 kids at the Spring game and we should all be excited about that class. They are truly elite. Nico and mr. Woods are going to be studs if used properly. They are a different breed of athlete. Anthony and Singleton are going to upgrade our athleticism at LB going forward and our defense is tracking vertically. I'm really worried aboUT the playcalling at this point on offense. That has one get sorted out and we need a Horse at QB. I think Harbaugh could win big with Milton. He physically projects to be a Cam Newton type monster that can physically beat teams. 6ft4 or 5 and already 200lbs. He's easily 6ft5 230 in 2 years. That's what you win titles with. |
25 weeks 3 days ago | I'm not a guru and don't posture as one. |
Michigan is an elite institution and grades come into play. Michigan has a culture that is very character based and some of the wildflower recruits don't necessarily fit in here. Michigan still gets beat out by dirty play in recruiting and they get Big Dogged by elite programs....BAMA for example. College football is a tough business and Michigan is trying to do it cleaner than the opposition hence some of Harbaugh's creativity. Weather and proximity are also factors. A HUGE one is position coaching and NFL tracking. Kids and parents are big on these. Tyrone Wheatley was phenomenal in Karans recruitment and development. You need guys like him. Personalities matter also in recruiting. I don't wish to talk badly on Michigan current staff but it could be better. I was very disappointed to see Coach Wheat leave and if you're wondering how we lost Najee Harris....ask yourself why would he come to Michigan over Bama? Who is coaching him? We still rotate backs and don't feature an RB, which hurts recruiting Elite RB talent. |
25 weeks 3 days ago | Tyree Kinnel and Brandon Watson |
Those kids have played a ton of ball. You have to have guys ready to play in their second year in my opinion. If you recruit elite talent, this is not hard. |
25 weeks 3 days ago | It's all good. |
I love Michigan. Been in and out of that stadium since I was young. It's not about me at all. I say what I say out of love for the program. My opinions. Not Karans....or D Bush...or Ty. I see things we could do better. I know what I post isn't popular and the personal attacks are always the resort. The tRuth is that we are NOT and elite program yet and we should be. We have the resources and players to be. The culture and attitude need to change if we are to win this conference. |

25 weeks 3 days ago | I'm nobody. |

25 weeks 3 days ago | You don't think Clemson runs a spread? |
They are the epitome of spread and simply put elite athletes in space. |
25 weeks 3 days ago | Lol. |
If that makes you feel better than have at it. The school I Coach at is an 8A florida high school that has won back to back district titles. We have about 15 Division 1 kids in our program at the moment. Your insult was funny but highly inaccurate. Richie James. Karan Higdon. Vincent Lamar Sellers Jr. Josh Dunn. Zahodri Jackson. These are all kids I've personally coached at their positions and all are likely NFL guys. Moose Griffith, Jamar Jackson are D1s coming out this year. Our freshman class has elite players already receiving offers. You don't have to agree with me. But making personal attacks is silly on your part especially when you're wrong and I've been coaching elite high school talent for going on 8 years. |
25 weeks 3 days ago | Fair point. |
The NFL is changing though. Deshaun had 13 TDs in 3 games.... |
25 weeks 3 days ago | OKorn is absolutely a spread QB. |
Ways....Harris...Wheatley Jr......just for starters. Edge blocking has prevented touchdowns from multiple backs this year....Ways can block. There are a lot of things man. Some of you guys take criticism of the Staff like it's preposterous. Nobody is saying fire Harbaugh. His offendive Staff needs a shakeup and is underperforming since Indiana last year. A lot of you mistake status and positioning on staffs as elite ability. Coaching is often who you know and based off of opportunities. While Harbaugh has a solid track record...others don't necessarily scream gold standard and YES...they are subject to criticism or suggestion when the offense looks the way it has for nearly a calendar year. You have personnel for spread elements right now. This team should operate out of the gun against tough fronts. That's not me being an expert. That's just observation and having coached for a while. You adjust to your personnel and situation. The playbook is huge. That's not a myth. Freshman have trouble picking all of it up. If you're electing to play younger guys and bench older ones...slim the book down. Again. Common sense. |
25 weeks 3 days ago | Michigan is NOT a normal program and recruits top 5 talent. |
They should be held to a significantly higher standard. We don't get the youth excuse. Particularly when we are peppered with upper classmen and 4 or 5 star "youth". |
25 weeks 3 days ago | Lots of kids are still swimming. |
You're on the money. |
25 weeks 3 days ago | We have a spread QB and a running back ideal for spread. |
But trying to force manball.....that is coaching. We're asking the line to do what they cannot do. We're not playing seasoned pass catchers and TEs. We have personnel to be much more successful than we are on offense but the schemes are flawed. It is absolutley coaching in my estimation and it becomes obvious week to week. Michigan with all of the 4 and 5 star talent, should not be struggling on offense. When your force scheme as opposed to scheme around your personnel...this is the offense you get. |
25 weeks 3 days ago | Championship programs win with Sophomores. |
You can't wait around until you're older than everyone to win. Recruit ELITE talent. Coach it the hell up and scheme elite athletes into space. This age thing is an excuse. We have upper classmen all over the field and at every position. We aren't coaching it up well enough to win like we want to. That's the blunt truth and many can't handle that. The age excuse is just that. An excuse. |

Cool new Michigan gear gets negged? |
25 weeks 4 days ago | Smith is awesome. |
His presence is very important. |
25 weeks 4 days ago | Hack? |
No sir. These thoughts are original. Don't need group think to sway my views on this. |
25 weeks 4 days ago | Wrong. |
Not about me or any particular fan. It's a bout a Michigan culture that has been cool with going 8-4 for way too long. 8-4 happens. But it happens often when your culture accepts it and excuses it. You can't cyber beat me up for the post but this discussion needs to be had and the culture of the program in terms of demanding excellence has not been on par for a long time. |
25 weeks 4 days ago | Personal attacks. |
Nice. Those are always great and surely you know who I am and what I stand for. |
25 weeks 4 days ago | Are we on track to do that? |
That's the question we have to ask ourselves and the real measuring stick. We need this game this year. |
25 weeks 4 days ago | ........... |
College football is not that difficult. Recruit great athletes. Scheme them into place. Head coaches delegate talented assistants to make sure that this happens with their respective position groups. It's honestly hard not to win when you're given everything and playing teams with less of everything that you have. |
25 weeks 4 days ago | The whining is feeling sad when .... |
Sparty celebrates in our Stadium every two years. The long faces and depression of losing results in the actual "whining". This conversation is to talk about how we may be able to prevent that. Not whining. Some of you on this board would cry false when slapped with a truth. Smh. |
25 weeks 4 days ago | Michigan had a title team last year. |
3 losses should not have happened. |
25 weeks 4 days ago | The players don't dislike Jay at all. |
He's a cool dude. Mike Hart would be a great Coach at Michigan. |
25 weeks 4 days ago | Fair enough. |
Of course we are heading in the right direction and it's off color to suggest that this program isn't on track. |
25 weeks 4 days ago | I'm not actually. |
Those who think underforming and underachieving is okay have already lost it. As a program, Michigan has underperformed for too long and the excuses are becoming just that. |
25 weeks 4 days ago | Coach Wheatley taught these kids. |
Wheatley has had a huge impact on all of them. |
25 weeks 4 days ago | The underachievment is staggering. |
It honestly should not be this way. |
25 weeks 4 days ago | Michigan should be top 10. |
The resources are there. The history. The venue. It's all there. We just don't get it done... and to compound things, those who voice opinions of us failing to get it done are somehow wrong or off our rockers. No. Michigan should be excellent. Michigan should win B1G titles and compete nationally. When that doesn't happen for 12 years...it needs to be talked about at nauseum until it gets fixed. |

25 weeks 5 days ago | If Harbaugh gets a Kaep type athlete... |
Michigan would take off. It all starts at QB. Harbaugh makes comments about guys doing a good job managing the game. We need a stud at QB to win. Harbaugh has won with stud QBs. Until we get that...it's going to be a bit of a struggle. Michigan deserves a stud QB and should field one every year all things considered. We need to find one and groom him sooner than later. Until then...the offense will be up and down. QBs are everything in college....unless you're Bama |
25 weeks 6 days ago | This video is pretty awesome. |
This kid will be a star under rich rod. College offense is not that hard. It's an extension of high school really. Recruit great athletes and get them schemed into space. Videos like this make it look as simple as it can be. The music is Lil Pump. That dude is a Miami "Trap" Rapper and pretty out there. BUT kids listen to him and that is why his songs are on highlight videos. |
25 weeks 6 days ago | The sooner we decide on Peters...Milton or Mcaffrey the better. |
Harbaugh needs to ID his horse and start grooming him. Going year to year with a new QB is going to make winning a B1G title tough. Again....it's the lack of continuity that is coming into play. You have a lot coming back on offense next season and QB is the only unsettled position truly. |
26 weeks 7 hours ago | No. |
You don't know the situation or how anybody the players felt. Again, you're putting the story together as you wish to see it...not as it actually is. The narrative you're attempting to draw is false. Karan did not complain. He works hard and tries to help the team. I see what the situation is and speak on how I see it. Also happens to be in line with how Wheat saw it. Don't make the story up as you want it to be. You don't know. You also likely haven't spoken to parents of various players and gotten those takes either. Nobody is trying to salt or shame anyone. We can do things better and will need to regain our in state status and win the B1G. |
26 weeks 10 hours ago | Bronx. |
Are we really going to sit here and act like we have to talk to players about what we can all see clear as day. I talk to my kid all the time...but it damn sure ain't all about football. He didn't come to Michigan for football. He came to get a degree from the best university on the planet. Karan doesn't complain and I don't prod him. You can all stop with those silly assumptions because they're wrong. I go to the games and have met this Staff. Good guys. We miss Fisch and Coach Wheatley is a friend of mine and has been there for my guy since he recruited him. Karan came to play for Wheatley. Wheat is the man. He was not treated fairly. That is derived from me and him talking. You can all stop dragging the kid into this because he has nothing to do with it and does not complain. I told him nothing would be free here. He knows the deal. But grown men talk. And those out there that think these coaching moves did NOT hurt us are sleeping. What 2018-2020 backs are going to come to michigan? The first thing you look for as a recruit is who is going to be coaching you after your sold on a campus. Wheatley should have been retained. Simple as that. And that is my opinion. Mine alone. Acting like kids are being hounded for inside info is crazy. It's not that serious. This program is not foreign to me. |
26 weeks 10 hours ago | Quattro...... |
No cheap shots. Harbaugh is not perfect and having coached for several years and having multiple players in college football and several soon to be professionals.....I'm no guru....but not a complete jackass either. The continuity is not there. We mismanage our talent in several instances. The playcalling is sporadic and player development is not where it should be. Thats my opinion. Not someone else's. I think for me. |
26 weeks 18 hours ago | Oh it happens. |
That's how Karan lost his freshman year aND compounded injuries. Also what pissed off Wheatley....because Coach Wheat knew better. And that is from Coach Wheatley....not any current players. Roster mismanagement is recurring and hurting this team. In the case of Nico...he should still be fine. |
26 weeks 18 hours ago | Nico is not a 5 year guy. |
Unless they move him to TE....he is not going to really need a redshirt year. |
26 weeks 18 hours ago | All fair enough. |
The comments pretty much paint the picture. This board seems to sell itself on its own expertise and ability to decipher opinions from factual information. The history behind my bringing this up is pretty extensive but the point has been made. You moderators and favored posters are absolutely driving away Michigan fans. If it makes you feel better to say people like me are uneducated "cry babies" or outside of the know....then have at it. There are a lot of good folks on here as well. This blog does have a good amount of information and my experience is not representative of everyone else I'm sure. Stay blessed and and there is some good football left to be seen from this group. |
26 weeks 22 hours ago | May be better for all parties. |
I don't share most things on here because the board simply won't handle some truths. May be best to let those who are welcome here have their board. |
26 weeks 1 day ago | The Hoops team is going to be fun to watch this year. |
They will tough come March. |
26 weeks 1 day ago | The committee was abandoned @ Indiana. |
Karan proceeded to have 200 yards and 3 TDs and rythym was a huge reason why. You can't get rythym with the way this staff rotates backs in and out. |
26 weeks 1 day ago | Michigan will finish 9-3. |
And I'm with you. This program should not finish 9-3. 10-2 should be the floor in Year 3 of Harbaugh. |
26 weeks 1 day ago | Didn't see the post earlier this week you reference. |
The backs were rotated in and out again tonight and the feel just seems to be off. There are several players i was referring to. Speight obviously. Evans is not the same and is not being put into space. Wheatley Jr. is used sparringly. Ways can help us and is not playing. Hill is a shell of what he was last season. These are all key contributors from 2016. There should not be regressing and these guys have all been in the fire prior so using a youth excuse for our struggles in 2017 in some ways is a choice our staff is making rather than a relegation. The offense is not properly coached up. From top to bottom. Wheatley Sr and Fisch were NOT replaced. I'm not even sure who our Wide Receiver coach is but the drops and passing game, which falls under Pep is not to Michigan standard. |
26 weeks 1 day ago | I don't see O'Korn getting the hook. |
I agree that Peters needs to get the experience but i don't see Jim sitting O'Korn down. |
26 weeks 1 day ago | Joe Milton |
He is the horse that can win Harbaugh a National Title. |
26 weeks 1 day ago | Yes. |
....... |
26 weeks 2 days ago | Sam is a great dude. |
When his gut rumbles....good things happen for Michigan. |
26 weeks 5 days ago | The kids Harbaugh has brought it all pretty solid all around. |
You can't expect a clean slate for all 85 but the boys do a solid job off the field. Most come from really good families and really good dudes. Gary is one of the best I'll add. Great dude. That's telling when your biggest stars take time out to help kids and be respectful to strangers just because. Regarding Walker, I think he gets it now. In 2018 he will be a problem for the B1G |
26 weeks 5 days ago | I don't think there is a cultural issue. |
Some guys just take a while. I think Kareem has a good shot to show some flash this year and he absolutely factors into next season. |
26 weeks 5 days ago | Are you serious? |
You honestly don't think Running back coaches matter? Bama and OSU are obviously destinations...but those kids are also coached the heck up. They accelerate at the next level as well. All of that goes into the pitch. |
26 weeks 5 days ago | Who did Wheatley miss on? |
Walker was a big get and people on the board will be pleased to know he has been kicking ass and responding very well as of late. That kid has real potential and hopefully we get to see it soon. He could be a difference maker next year. Najee was aL ways going to be tough to pull and the change over in staff really hurt those efforts to land him and retain a stud like AsiAsi. Coaching changes can really hurt recruiting more than we accredit. I think the RB recruiting going forward will be interesting. You have to sell more than the priveledge of Michigan to get elite backs in 2017. What else are we selling them that other schools aren't? That's the question we have to answer and hopefully pitch to young backs to get them on board. We don't pay kids....unlike some other programs.....so we have to figure out how to land top RBs. They and their parents and or coaches will absolutely be looking at the prospective Offense and position Coach in terms of picking a school. Those are huge factors. |
26 weeks 5 days ago | He will likely move up. |
Obviously he is a decorated back and coached RBs at a high level but I think he has a good understanding of ball overall. His best asset is his personality and the trust and bond he gets with his position groups. Because of his personality and him being pretty young I see him becoming a successful head coach one day. He has a really good mental approach to teaching and dealing with young people and I think he could be successful as more than a position Coach. |
26 weeks 5 days ago | Tyrone Wheatley. |
It hurt big time when he was no longer on the staff. Cannot state this emphatically enough. Kids loved him. He played the position and has coached it at the highest level. To attract top recruits at a position....the position Coach matters as much as anything else. |
26 weeks 6 days ago | The best win is.... |
The 20-17 triumph Harbaugh and the boys are about to pull off this Saturday. |
27 weeks 1 day ago | You're the man WD. |
Don't let haters block your shine!! |
27 weeks 1 day ago | Bias and honest. |
When a kid deserves....he deserves. Good effort all around by the run game as a whole. Kareem flashed today too. |
27 weeks 5 days ago | I believe OKorn has more talent than Speight. |
Speight seems the steadier hand and why he won the job to begin with. It's year three guys. How does Coach Harbaugh not have a QB? These kids have been here for 3 and 4 years. They should be humming along now and there isn't an excuse for them not to be. Okorn has not been put in good position to be successful. 35 pass calls in the rain or with a very wet ball was not what we needed. I'm sorry and by no means claiming to be some coaching guru. I am disappointed that we hired the man we thought was greater than the rest and his specialty.....QB is our greatest weakness. I just do see legitimacy in excusing our quarterback play anymore. It's year 3. Our offense collectively has work to do. That includes the backs. All of them. But the line has to be a MICHIGAN line. And we need a MICHIGAN QB. There is no reason why we cannot block and quarterback at an elite level given our resources, advantages and a coach that makes 9mil a year and is a QB guru. It's not adding up and the change I see is in the press box "calling" the plays. Harbaugh is our Coach. He needs to surround himself with better coaches. The entire offense needs to be looked at. If we want a bell cow Najee Harris type back...you had better get an RB Coach with pedigree. |
27 weeks 5 days ago | I watch the games like you gentlemen. |
I don't press Karan for information. I care about him above his role on the team. It doesn't take inside info to see what's going on. Karan doesn't complain. He knows he has a job to do. I however see the flaws in play calling, rotation and coaching maneuvers. Many others do as well. We didn't send him up there to NOT play for a seasoned and proven Coach Wheatley and I will openly say I'm gravely disappointed in what happened in that situation. I speak for me on that. Wheatley should still be there and kept owing him personally it pisses me off that he isn't there and why he isn't there. Fisch should also still be there and both coaches were not replaced with viable replacements and the drop off in production is evident. |
27 weeks 5 days ago | It's not okay... |
To lose to Michigan state year after year given the hype and talent advantage. Dantonio and his staff should not be out-developing Michigan's staff....but they are. Calm is winning games against your rivals when you're a double digit favorite. It's not okay to accept mediocrity in the program. Michigan has to decide if we want to win big games and compete for titles or if we want to remain in this state of awe of our head coach. He isn't perfect and has a bad offensive staff that needs to be altered drastically. In year 3 with the talent he has access to...no....there is not anecessary excuse. 365 days until we get our dignity back after losing to an MSU team that had more rapes committed by their players than they had wins last season. Saturday was disgraceful and it's not all on the kids. This Staff can't call plays. Simple and plain. And that included Jim Harbaugh if he is in fact the final say in play calling. He needs to get much better and fast. |
27 weeks 5 days ago | This offense is a mess. |
How are guys regressing? The offensive coaching staff needs to be drastically changed. |
27 weeks 5 days ago | A 3 man committee to call plays.... |
Is just silly. Find a true OC....pay him and allow him to do his job. This platoon play calling is killing the offense and Pep has bounced around for a reason. He should not be back and has hurt this ball club for a number of reasons. Harbaugh needs better people around him. He has the right coaches on the defensive side for the ball....but he has whiffed on offense. |
27 weeks 5 days ago | Fournette..... |
He had 181 and 2 tds yesterday. His coach is Tyrone Wheatley.....and he should still be at Michigan....and wanted to be. |
27 weeks 5 days ago | You cannot attract this type of attention purposely. |
And then deflect the accountability when the program fails to live up to the lofty status is was presented to be at. The defense is Elite. But Harbaugh has nothing to do with that. The offense needs a makeover. New coaches is where it needs to start. There is still opportunity in this season but Penn state and Ohio state need to be wins. |
27 weeks 6 days ago | Fair. |
The rain was on and off and heavier in some moments than others. I just don't see O'Korn being put in the right spots. The entire offense is struggling and off of a bye week.. it's a pretty bad display. The kids don't prepare themselves. That's the coaches job. That defense sure as hell seems to be ready every week...... |
27 weeks 6 days ago | The playbook is extensive. |
It's hard to have young guys spun up on it and we don't use the majority of it which is the kicker of it all. It's Michigan, we now have athletic advantage over all teams we play save for one or two a year. Get matchups and take advantage. It's not rocket science and these kids can't learn at the NFL level yet. That type of concrete minded approach is why our offense continues to defeat itself. |
27 weeks 6 days ago | 5 weeks of bad offense. |
This is boiling over a bit. We need a true offensive Coordinator. Pep is absolutley not cut out for this and Drevno is struggling big time. Throwing the ball 35 times in the pouring rain is simply intolerable and defiant of football logic. Coach can be upset with the reporters but many more are upset with handing MSU a win on the strength of bad decision making from the headsets. |

28 weeks 2 days ago | Dawkins was legit. |
Wish he was still here. |
28 weeks 6 days ago | Injury info is always sensitive. |
Harbaugh keeps things close to the best by design and nobody wants to contradict the wishes of the head man. That being said....if you were to see Wilton...it would be obvious that this is not a soft tissue injury and in fact serious. Just like the Newsome injury last year was limb threatening. Stinks. This offense has lost its most productive wideout....starting QB and an anchor tackle dating back to last year. Depth is going to be tested big time. |
29 weeks 1 hour ago | Not sure why the OP was negged. |
The cat was eventually going to get out of the bag. Hopefully Wilton returns to full health as soon as possible. Rough year for injuries on offense so far. |
29 weeks 6 days ago | I actually spoke to an attorney about this today... |
The verdict was that ultimately the player committing the infraction would be liable....unless there was an established in game or historical trend of such dereliction of upholding the rules, resulting in concussions or player injuries. So if we are looking at an isolated incident....the avoidance of medical culpability is there. However, two events could realistically result in a logical case against a referee who allows "gameflow" counter to the rules and safety of the game to take place. In the event that this "gameflow" results in a player injury...particularly a significant one....if not flagged and cited and agregious in nature.....yes....the referee could become liable. The result could be linked back to his or her inability to provide a safe field of play. In this instance....missing that dangerous, play is over....back of the head targeting call on Speight is agregious and deserved of penalty and accountability. Hard to argue otherwise. |
29 weeks 6 days ago | Really? |
What is the refs job? Uphold rules correct? So if they fail to do this in a fashion that results in players bring injured...potentially seriously...how is this ridiculous. If a ref is found to miss multiple targeting calls....thus allowing defenders to play overly aggressive in fashion...subsequently resulting in a player being hurt....how is this a ridiculous suggestion? The refs job is literally to ensure a safe and legal playing environment. Agregious failure to do so should absolutely result in some type of accountability up to and including criminal if they're found to be derelict in their duty.....which is literally safety. |
29 weeks 6 days ago | Stuff like this.... |
Makes me wonder why some places are hard to play in. I hope Harbaugh continues this verbal protest. Hell, if entire teams can sit out the national anthem maybe our team should just get dressed and taped on the field in protest of unsatisfactory conditions. Embarrass these half ass athletic departments and their lack of respect and attention to detail. I bet all of their respective offices have AC. Bastards... |
29 weeks 6 days ago | Regarding facilities. |
There should be some facet of the B1G governing body .....non-partisan that inspects facilities to ensure no foul play or substandard environment is provided to Any visiting team in any stadium. The players don't receive any money yet the stadiums rake in millions per game......the money to at least ensure the players are subjected to piss and shit infested bathrooms is not much to ask. Simple air conditioning in 2017 should be a damn given. Disgusted with the B1G and it's sorry ass "brass" for their continued lack of monitoring officiating and conditions such as this. Complete amateur hour. Shameful. |
29 weeks 6 days ago | 100% stand behind Coach for every word. |
Speight was subjected to a dangerous and illegal hit. Referees need to be held criminally liable for NOT doing their jobs and citing infractions this egregious. Football is dangerous....but in instances like this where the safety of players is breached,Referees who fail to do their jobs and uphold rules should force some type of liability. They will stop missing these calls then. These refs allowed for Speight to be injured on a hit in which the guilty party should have been tossed from the game. |
30 weeks 10 hours ago | I agree. |
If we want to win the B1G. It's got to be O'Korn. He has a higher ceiling and more arm talent. Also more physical talent. Speight is bigger but the game seems too fast for him often. I like Speight but this isn't about liking. We have a B1G title to win and I think O'Korn can bring it home. |
30 weeks 11 hours ago | It's not even comparable. |
Put the Game film of their collective snaps this season. This is checkers not chess. |

30 weeks 4 days ago | Nordin is going to be a Groza winner. |
That kid is a stud kicker. That sleepover was a hell of an investment and for some reason me thinks he bangs a 50+ yarder for the game in Happy Valley on Oct 21. Full Paul Bunyan legend mode will rightfully commence. Kid is honestly awesome. Never been this impressed by a kicker since Graham Gano. |
30 weeks 4 days ago | Exactly. |
We don't recruit 5 year players anymore. |
30 weeks 6 days ago | *passing game. |
Damn typo. |
30 weeks 6 days ago | Perspective. |
Yes we lost Chesson, Darboh and Butt. The biggest loss was Jed Fisch. Wilton has regressed and it's not due to simply him. There needs to be some accountability on behalf of the new Passing gAmerican coordinator who is also calling plays. That's what has changed. Tired of seeing the kids get beat up. Bad personnel use is killing us in the red zone. That call comes from the box. Our kids are capable. They are NOT being put in position. |
31 weeks 15 hours ago | Speight has regressed because Fisch was a great coach.... |
And he was not replaced with an equally great Coach. Also we consistently put Speight in positions that are outside of his comfort zone and we don't lean on the run game to open the secondary up. Speight is not getting it done but we are NOT helping him. |
31 weeks 15 hours ago | Speight has regressed because Fisch was a great coach.... |

And run the goddamn football. This playcalling is different from last year and it's obvious why. Michigan has backs and top 10 athletes. The air force is small and not nearly as athletic. We don't score in the red zone because we are running 3-5 wide out sets with no room to threaten the secondary. It's honestly not smart coaching. |
31 weeks 16 hours ago | Moe Ways is capable. |

31 weeks 1 day ago | Run the Goddamn Football. |
This playcalling is unreal. |
31 weeks 1 day ago | Red zone offense? |
This is bad everything. Playcalling? |
31 weeks 2 days ago | Must rotate linemen tommorrow. |
We should be able to physically smash them but triple option teams cut all day and we've got to have the linemen fresh. Also key to RUN the football and have sustained drives to limit airforce TOP. Our corners should have simple man assignments on the edge. If you cannot check or block defeat Air Force wideouts...we missed in recruiting and have to live with it. |
31 weeks 5 days ago | Who are you talking to? |
And why are you spelling your words like that? |
31 weeks 5 days ago | No free shots. |
Anybody coming sideways will get addressed time permitting. Yall can Mean Girls WD. I'm not playing that shit anymore. Some of yall act like little women. Try to gang up and sound intelligent with one another. It's pretty sad actually. I watch yall do this all the time. Rarely post as a result because it's annoying to have people attack you from their keyboards when you'll never get a chance to discuss with them in person. |
31 weeks 5 days ago | Lol. |
Okay. |
31 weeks 5 days ago | You're a clown too. |
Come at me and I'll come back. My post had no ill intent. Defense is only put of opposition. That's a simple relationship for you to understand unless you are in fact Mad. |
31 weeks 5 days ago | For you? Absolutely. |
"Singular" = 3 or 4 |
31 weeks 5 days ago | Like what? |
Run your speed back on outside run plays? Run your inside runner in the red zone? Those type of obvious things you do when trying to score points and stay ahead of the chains? Hmmm. Troll. Stand down. |
31 weeks 5 days ago | You're on fire. |
What's your deal? This post bother you this much or you have a genuine issue? |
31 weeks 5 days ago | Frustrating. |
Always have issues posting on the cellular. It always draws understanding and rave reviews though.... |
31 weeks 5 days ago | Let's play some more. |
1. Michigan defense was awesome in the shoe last year. |
31 weeks 5 days ago | Players we aren't seeing this year. |
1. Khalid Hill All of the above worked very well last year. Where is it this year? We are leaving points on the field and it's not all Wilton. Some of the scheme is scattered and seems odd. |
31 weeks 5 days ago | The running game is a whole separate animal. |
Play calling has a lot to do with the run game faltering. Who you are running and in what scheme matters a ton as well. That is why the run game has been off. Any effort into thinking? No clown. I can't post actual thoughts or facts on here because the blog would blow up. Hopefully you enjoyed stroking your own ego some more. Carry average drops when you play elite defenses. That's obvious. That is why people are paid millions of dollars to conjure up antidotes to still effectively run the rock. And blame Wilton? I have emphatically NOT blamed the QB. In fact I referenced all the supporting facets around the QB. Since you need specifics as to what I'm referring to regarding offense scheme not lining up with what we did last year...I'll play. |
31 weeks 5 days ago | Critique or keyboard warrioring? |
There are some flaw folks in this room. The post was simple. People try to be extra analytical and stroke their own perceived intellect. The post was designed to spark conversation and had no ill intent. People have ill intent towards people on this blog and try to flex on posts. Clowns. Grown "men" acting like Mean Girls trying to down somebody for simple grammar or title names lol. Can't even talk ball unless your in the circle. More politics lol. Easy to peep and some of yall are exactly why Michigan fan base gets labeled arrogant. Shame actually because this blog does not at all represent real Michigan fans. |

But since you want to be a clown.... |

Really? Butt....Chesson...Darboh...Smith....those guys all mad the league in some fashion. Michigan as a fan base needs to understand that if you want to be Elite. .you have to win with youth. The expectations need to change. There is no rebuilding and excusing on behalf of "youth". Coach the kids up and play ball. Math is what we use to over analyze. Football is played on the field and the math sounds great but cannot calculate what's most vital in terms of football. |

Kids need to be spun up and know what they're doing. If they don't they shouldnt be playing. We have pass catchers on the roster in their 3rd and 4th years. Wilton is throwing high and did so last year towards the end as well. If kids don't know what they're doing.....that's on the staff. We aren't going to roll out 22 year old 5th years every season. You have to win with youth if your an elite program. |

Multiple stats and numbers were provided....but you're looking to throw Mortons so clown away. |
31 weeks 5 days ago | Wilton is not in the title. |
This is important because Michigan is a Playoff Contender with a fixed passing attack. This is not a rebuild year. This is a year to win a title. |
31 weeks 5 days ago | This would help too. |
Evans is a weapon out of the backfield and we are misusing him big time. Screens and angle routes matching him on LBS would be a win. How about a wheel route or two? |

The enter button does not function when posting from a cell. Surprised that this upsets you so much. |
31 weeks 5 days ago | Title fixed. |
Scatter plots are for math majors. The eye test is all that is needed here. There is something way off with the passing game. |
