At least Football BEAT Akron and UCONN and we all saw how that season played out. For the first time ever I actually am doubting Belein a little. If we are within 15 of Arizona it will be a suprise.
I think Lloyd left at the proper time tbh. I doubt his conservative play calling would have worked in this Spread offense revolution that we just witnessed/witnessing.
HIs offenses had a huge amount of talent that scored enough point to win (great defenses help) but I always felt like they were underused.
The B1G 10 has been the best basketball conference for the past 3/4 years now. However, unlike the SEC in football, the conference cant get that National Title. Last year hurt a lot because we had 3/8 E8 teams then 1 FF and 0 in the NCG.
What about the way Gardner looked in 2012 and the ND game of 2013. While I do think Gardner became in coachable because of metal issues this year, his mental issues came forth because of the beating he took last year.

You're right but the fact that our QB's had a tough time pulling one set of downs and that he's their 3rd string QB.

I havent watched Syracuse at all this year but how is their inside game? Frankly their zone doesnt worry me at all but our inside D does.
There are no real obvious gimme games this year so it should be interesting.
edit:Iowa UNC is one I guess mostly because UNC is playing at UNC but I wouldnt be suprised if Iowa keeps it interesting.
