According to the computers

According to the computers (looking at Massey, Sagarin, FPI), this years team is better.

Makes sense with how

Makes sense with how Washington destroyed CU. Everyone was debating whether Washington should be in but the odd team out is actually Clemson.

It would be awesome to watch,

It would be awesome to watch, but I agree with the consensus that its way too many teams.

Conference Championship games

Conference Championship games should only be treated as the "13th data point." Not some game that has more meaning than beating a team 49-10.

It would coincide with the

It would coincide with the nfl games that are on saturdays for the playoffs.

I haven't really followed

I haven't really followed Yeldon at Jacksonville but Alabama running backs haven't been the best when it comes to translating to the NFL. Ingram and Lacy are average at best, and Richardson is just a disaster. I understand that many Heisman winners haven't been all that great in the NFL, but it does make me quite skeptical of Henry when passed RB's who were mentioned in the Heisman race, or won the Heisman, from the same school that featured a NFL offensive line, keep fizzling out in the NFL.

Defense has never been the

Defense has never been the specialty of Michigan basketball teams under Belein, but unless the offense is gonna be the best in the country, not much can get done. Besides, those years that the offense was #1, there was a solid big man.

In my opinion, the spread, In my opinion, the spread, when run right, is unstoppable. Add tempo and even if you slow then down for the first half or 3 quarters, the plays start taking their toll. Maybe it's because no Michigan defense has looked like they can stop the spread for 15 years, but I'm thinking that in those games, the offense is going to have to take the load.
I think that Oklahoma and I think that Oklahoma and Alabama are the best 2 teams in the country, but if you look at the resume, MSU has 1 more win, 4 wins vs the top 25 (3 by Oklahoma) and their losses are to 5-7 teams. The committee seems to weigh the resume more than the eye test.
Dantonio is a top 10 maybe

Dantonio is a top 10 maybe top 5 CFB coach for sure. Meyer also has to be up there if we are going to be completely objective, but the diffence in this one year we have so far is that Dantonio had Connor Cook for the whole season and Rudock didn't start playing like a potential late draft pick until november. If Haurbaugh is able to have a full season with Rudock, Michigan is 11-1 this year.

Yea, its either LSU or

Yea, its either LSU or Florida

Fuck MSU, I don't how the hell they got into the playoffs, and somehow beat 4 top 25 teams in the process.

I think it should be like

I think it should be like that for every game. unless the primary color is the same, why not just allow the teams to wear their home jerseys? Most home jerseys are better than the away jerseys in my opinion.

Up vote for Kanye Up vote for Kanye
If you cant beat them, take

If you cant beat them, take their successful coordinator

Solid win, don't know how

Solid win, don't know how good NCST is, but offense clicked for the most part, and their was enough defense (also got a bit lucky with them missing). Should be a win vs Houston Baptist and then the biggest game until conference season starts at SMU.

I really hope Wagner and Robinson can keep this up, Walton also needs to be healthy and Irvine needs to get back to were he was last year, with Levert continuing to do Levert things. A win on the road vs SMU would be big.

levert coming in clutch at

levert coming in clutch at the end

doyle common man, he just

doyle common man, he just cant do it

Fuck man, this offense was

Fuck man, this offense was rolling when robinson was last in there

If Haurbaugh can turn Rudock

If Haurbaugh can turn Rudock from looking like a below average game manager to looking like one of the best in the conference (especially when you look at the pass defenses of PSU and OSU), I'm pretty excited to think of what O'Korn can do with nearly 2 years of practice with Haurbaugh by the time next season starts. For this game, the d line got killed by their o line and the the LBs were just awful. On the offense, couple good drives but not getting TDs really hurt, as it could have been 28-21 at the beginning of the 4th instead of 28-13. I doubt it would have mattered, based on the way OSU was running the ball, but a one possession game has a different feel than a 2 TD, one 2 pt game.

Chesson and Darboh will be back and I think Butt should be back as well, and so I think that our passing game will be fine next year. I just hope that the running game can be at least respectable.

I wouldn't mind if Mattison

I wouldn't mind if Mattison gets the DC position back

Well polls dont mean anything

Well polls dont mean anything for us now, but I think 19 is a a little lower than I would have this team. I would say 15th.

I agree, Ole Miss would be a

I agree, Ole Miss would be a fun opponent to play and it would also be a SEC team, which of course always helps. However, I think Ole Miss is gonna be in the Sugar Bowl so it probably gonna be florida, a team that we should beat and even if there is no rudock, I think that after 15 practices, Speight wouldbe able to at least put up 14 points and that would be enough to win

I think Citrus vs either I think Citrus vs either Florida or Ole Miss. Michigan has the same same conference record has northwestern and Wisconsin, and Michigan is clearly the bigger draw in terms of $$$. I guess Rudock's injury does change it up, but I still think they would be in the outback bowl.
That's true, and they even That's true, and they even had bell that year
The receiving core all really The receiving core all really got into a rhythm with rudock this month. I hope they can continue that with whoever becomes the QB next year
15-0, National Championship, 15-0, National Championship, Peppers wins the Heisman But seriously I think it comes down to Iowa, MSU, and OSU like we've said. Wisconsin could be tough, but it's at the big house and Wisconsin hasn't looked great this year. I still don't think Iowa is that good this year (hope they beat msu tho) and I don't think they are that good next year. MSU loses Cook, but it's almost every year now in which we say that they won't be as good and they are. OSU is OSU. I say 10-2 and maybe 11-1 if bounces go our way
well at least we know that

well at least we know that OSU wont repeat. Unless Alabama somehow loses to Auburn.

mobile qb's and spread

mobile qb's and spread offense's are Michigan's worst nightmare. On the other end, our offense isn't meant to come from behind, despite how well the passing game was towards the end of the season. I don't think we will see many more 7-6, 6-6 types season anymore, but for Michigan to take the leap from 9-3 and good to 11-1, 12-0 and great, there just has to be more talent, hopefully with a NFL QB leading the way.

Michigan defenses have never

Michigan defenses have never done well against the spread and I guess thats just gonna be how it is. The offense got much better this last month, but against a real defense, they still falter.

Has a Michigan defense ever

Has a Michigan defense ever stopped a spread team?

Maybe if he can be on the o

Maybe if he can be on the o line or a linebacker

Ever since NW in 2000, Ever since NW in 2000, Michigan defenses have never been able to stop the spread.
2 times inside the 10 and 2 times inside the 10 and can't score 7, that's gonna kill you
well it looks like either

well it looks like either Houston or Temple will be the G5 representative

Big Sean is a good guy, but

Big Sean is a good guy, but his music is just bad

I agree with you on Miami as

I agree with you on Miami as he would have Florida to recruit from, plus Texas and other places that he recruited from back at Oregon, plus he would only have to worry about FSU and Clemson in the ACC as compared to a relatively stronger SEC or PAC 12.

I thought Chip Kelly had

I thought Chip Kelly had proved himself an NFL coach after going 10-6 the first 2 seasons, but his moves have been baffling. However, he's gonna be back in the college game, and I'm sure that whatever team he goes to will become a powerhouse in this era of the Spread.

also the monsoon in East

also the monsoon in East Lansing that happened for the Indiana drive and then stopped right when they punted

Not that it mattered that much in the game as MSU pulled away in the 4th, but another example of their luck

11-1 ND with wins over Navy,

11-1 ND with wins over Navy, Temple, USC, and Stanford and one loss to Clemson has a better resume than a 11-2 UM team with wins over Northwestern, BYU, OSU, and Iowa with losses to MSU and Utah

No, Michigan will beat OSU,

No, Michigan will beat OSU, Penn State will beat MSU, Stanford will beat Notre Dame, and then Michigian will beat Iowa and then Michigan is your CFP rooting interest

MSU without Cook put up 17 on

MSU without Cook put up 17 on OSU and OSU has a good defense. So lets say that MSU doesn't have cook and they put up 17 or 20 again, does Penn State score more than that? I guess they did put up 16 (3 redzone trips) on our D, and MSU's secondry is not as good as ours, but MSU's D-line might get to Hackenberg in 1 second. Also add the fact that James Franklin is coaching PSU.

Cook will get first team and

Cook will get first team and Sudfeld will probably get 2nd team. Butt and Lewis will be first team for sure

I think we should be favored,

I think we should be favored, or at least it should be even

win and i see at the very least an NY6 game.

I dont think they are

I dont think they are motivated, they acted like their entire season was over yesterday, and guys are thinking about the nfl and not the game next week. Kind of stupid when they are still in contention, but hey I'll take it. I hope we win 56-0.

probably shouldn't say

probably shouldn't say relegated, but instead awarded

That's another great thing

That's another great thing about the CFP, theres no limit on conferences. However, I would think that Iowa at 12-1 would go to the Rose and a 10-2 Michigan would be relegated to the fiesta bowl or one of the other 2 NY6 Bowl Games.

They did have a fluke loss

They did have a fluke loss early in the year and have dominated ever since, but these teams that were ranked when they played our either falling down rapidly or not even ranked anymore, Georgia, Miss St, LSU, Texas A&M were all ranked at the time they played them and they all have at least 3 losses, and they haven't looked all that great in their other games.

I think Alabama is one of the best 4 teams in the country, but I don't think that they are unbeatable.

Me being Objective

1. Clemson

2. Alabama

3. Michigan State

4. Notre Dame

5. Iowa

6. Oklahoma

7. Baylor

8. Oklahoma State

9. Michigan

10. Stanford

OSU is 11th and thats not me being a michigan homer, they haven't played one team all year and had the one of the worst performances in CFB this year.

Thats kinda suprising, I hope

Thats kinda suprising, I hope he makes it 4 in a row next week with and leaves with a 100%  win percentage vs OSU

I'm pretty sure they're just

I'm pretty sure they're just as emotional about their team as we are about ours. However that being said, I have a hard time seeing Meyer doing the same thing that he did today. However that being said, we should be favored and fuck em.
