before RR became the coach. It's not RR's thing.
|4 days 22 hours ago||Let's see||
he's 6'7" SG who can shoot, handle and pass. He's very good at iso, catch and shoot and has size advantage over most SG. He's 20 and still has room to grow which means he still has untapped potential to be an even better player down the road. He also has the athleticism to be an elite defensive stopper at SG.
Throw in the fact that SG is weak overall in the NBA and players like Caris don't grow on trees. That's why he's considered to be a 1st round pick.
|5 days 1 hour ago||It helps that||
Louisville are more experienced than Michigan and has couple key players who were good college players like Hancock.

number, then I'm all for it.
|1 week 1 day ago||lol||
show how much you've watched NBA. 80s defense consists of no defense. Offense has never been better in the past few years with innovative offensvie spacing and ball movement.
|1 week 1 day ago||Michigan finished 2nd to WSU||
Michigan finished 2nd to WSU at the time and JB was recruiting him HARD. It's a shame that he didn't pick Michigan but he made the right choice for himself considering he's in the NBA
|1 week 1 day ago||Passing on Trey Burke was not||
Passing on Trey Burke was not a mistake. KCP was the right call and the trading of Knight/Middleton/English for B-Jennings is paying off right now with his stellar play since Smoove got cut.
|1 week 1 day ago||Took them a while to recover||
Took them a while to recover from it but now, they're a legit NBA Final contender. Dame Lillard was thought to be a reach for the Blazers but it was worth the pick for them bc of his killer instinct and ability to elevate his team. Of course, Lamarcus Alridge emerging as one of the better big guy in the league helps.
|1 week 1 day ago||That's revisionist history||
It's always has been LBJ and Darko at top 2 picks.
|1 week 2 days ago||Lol no. They won NBA title||
Lol no. They won NBA title and was a shot away from winning another. Went to ECF for 5 straight years which is unheard of. I'd take that trade off
|1 week 2 days ago||Without Darko,||
the Pistons wouldn't have gotten Sheed in a trade. Pistons might've never won the NBA title. Melo would've sat behind Prince and there would be discontent from Melo for not getting PT.
|1 week 2 days ago||Lol no. Dumar made the right call by drafting KCP over Burke.||
Lol no. Dumar made the right call by drafting KCP over Burke.
|1 week 2 days ago||The thing is the debate of||
The thing is the debate of the draft at the time was LBJ and Darko. Not Melo and Darko. Many people forget that some thought Darko would be a #1 overall pick. The tier went like this:
|1 week 4 days ago||Chatman||
has proven against top flight competition in high school so the talent is there. I mean, Arizona went after him HARD and Arizona have billion 5* recruits on their teams. Chatman is a different type of player in comparison to Dawkins. Chatman is more of a point forward who likes to facilitate plays for others while Dawkins is similar to GRIII. It's much easier to see athleticism than skills. However, there is a reason why Chatman is starting to begin the season. Chatman's problem lies with mental.
|1 week 6 days ago||Abysmal?||
Way too early to say it. Youth and early departure has finally caught up to Michigan.
Chatman was a 5* recruit with Wilson as a high 4*. Zak Irvin was a 5* with Walton as a high 4*. FOH with that statement.
JB landed Teske a high 4* recruit for class of 2016. Michigan is in play for Jaylen Brown who will be visiting the team and is a 2015 recruit. They're in a lot of 2016 prospects
|2 weeks 2 days ago||I thought that Kevin Grady||
was the most impressive in-state back that I've ever seen and he's a bust at Michigan..... Doesn't help that competition was sub-par at best and his school was a powerhouse.
|2 weeks 3 days ago||Not surprising that Jake Ryan||
struggled in practices. Most have him at 5th/6th rounder. They think his best fit is at 3-4 ILB and is strictly a 2 down LB. He needs to show that he can play special team or he won't last long in the NFL.
|2 weeks 4 days ago||Michigan still has ways to go before contending for||
B1G title. They're nowhere near OSU's and MSU's class as a team. Michigan has a much tougher schedule than this past season. Playing Utah, BYU, MSU and OSU plus a surprise B1G (like Minnesota) are no gimmies. The realistic expectation is 7-8 wins with the upside of 9 wins.
|2 weeks 4 days ago||Indiana will get a really good RB||
His name is Jordan Howard from UAB as a transfer and is eligible to play immediately. He ran for over 1,500 yards last season. He's really good and may be the 2nd best back in the conference after Zeke Elliot.
|2 weeks 4 days ago||A lot of NFL people||
are high on Hackenberg. Some thinks that he's #1 overall material FWIW
|2 weeks 6 days ago||Kelvin Benjamin||
has just as bad of a hands as Funchess yet got drafted at 1st round. There's evidence that Funchess can improve his hands. He has made a lot of spectacular plays like the TD catch against PSU, Appy State, few other catches that Gardner made a bad throw that he caught.
|2 weeks 6 days ago||I dunno||
the state of Michigan isn't a great state to have an instate talent for women's basketball. Not sure if it's the sleeping giant. Same resources as in what? Facilities? If you're talking about money, that's false. Men's Basketball gets more money from the athletic department than Women's Basketball which is true for every school.

|2 weeks 6 days ago||Thing is||
Waynes has always been considered a 1st rounder throughout the season. Not so with Calhoun. Waynes is a better prospect than his former teammate, Dennard, and has bigger upside.
|3 weeks 51 min ago||I do know that some do consider him||
a 1st rounder, but 2nd rounder is likely his floor. Most here think he's a 5th rounder or UDFA are just being angry at Funchess.
|3 weeks 52 min ago||Not all sacks are created equal||
Sometimes sacks can be manufactured by the DC. Can't look at sack numbers and say he's a good player. Need to see pressure numbers like QB hurries, QB hits, sacks, etc. They're a much better indicator of how good of a pass rusher you are as opposed to focusing on sack numbers.
For example, I rather have DL who pressure the QB 40% of the time with low sack numbers than DL with high sack numbers but with low pressure numbers like 10%.
|3 weeks 2 hours ago||Right you are||
It's on the refs, not the Patriots to let the Ravens know about the ineligible player coming out of the huddle.
|3 weeks 1 day ago||Josh Smith isn't the Pistons best player||
I would've argued that Andre Drummond or Greg Monroe is better than Josh Smith. If you argued that he's the most talented player then I agree with you.
|3 weeks 2 days ago||Don't forget||
Thon Maker, the #1 overall player in the class of 2016.
Jamal Murray is another highly touted recruit from class of 2016.
|3 weeks 3 days ago||Best case scenario||
is make the playoff. A lot of Pistons players are really young and don't have much playoff experience. I rather have them have that experience before making the next step next season. It increases their chances of resigning Moose.
As it stands, late lottery to mid 1st round picks are prime spot to get a good starting SF that the Pistons desperately need. There aren't any SF prospects that is worth taking at top 5.
The Spurs showed that if you play good defense and have team who can share the ball wlll win more often than not. Pistons are playing lights out on offense and defense and are beating good teams. Not saying they're a title contender but they're definitely a playoff contender with the way they've been playing thus far.
