|6 hours 43 min ago||People think it's too easy to have a team full of McD AA||
and just cruise to the NC. An average coach would not have done as well as Coach Cal because it's all about managing personalities and egos. He got them to play together and was able to reach to the NC. Saying anybody can coach them to NC is false especially if they're not a people's person.
|13 hours 39 min ago||That was Iowa fan's major gripe on Rudock||
which is him checking down a ton and inability to pull a trigger when the deep route are open. They also gripped that he doesn't trust his eyes that the passing windows are open.
They prefered CJ Brethard because he takes more deep shots and was more willing to take chances.
|1 day 9 hours ago||He's actually really good at evaluating QBs||
remember when a lot of them thought Dilfer hate Michigan because he didn't put Morris in a positive light? Right now, it's looking like Dilfer may be right about his evaluation on Morris.

and provide team apparel. Team gets an X amount of budget for buying equipment stuff. This is pretty common for the athletic department. Sometimes school get more cash than their equipment budget like Michigan for example. However, it's common that the apparel will give them money but the budget for equipment is larger than the money they get from a contract.

|2 days 15 hours ago||Cook has to get better with||
throwing under duress. His accuracy has been on and off but is a rhythm passer. There are a lot to like about Cook as a QB. He's expected to carry the load with Langford gone, but he has Jack Conkliln who is a potential 1st round pick at LT with Jack Allen at C who is also a very good NFL prospect.
|3 days 7 hours ago||Draftees||
are more likely to make the team than UDFA. A lot of posters here are acting like if DG has made the roster.
|3 days 9 hours ago||Let's not assume that Devin will make the team||
it's great that he signed with the Pats, but all UDFA aren't guaranteed to make the roster.
|3 days 9 hours ago||Maybe it's wishful thinking by Devin||
because NFL viewed him as a WR, not QB
|6 days 10 hours ago||It's voluntary workouts||
rule of thumb is wait until mandatory workouts to make a big deal. As long as they do their work in the offseason, who gives a fuck?
|6 days 17 hours ago||He took a bunch of players||
and made them a playoff team granted it's in a very weak conference but still. Boston was destined to tank into top 3 with the off-season and Brad Stevens did a masterful job of putting together a playoff team that has no business of being there.
So in that aspect, he is successful.
|6 days 17 hours ago||Where did you hear about it?||
JB will not redshirt him, not with a projected top 3 pick in the NBA draft.
|1 week 7 hours ago||He's already projected||
as a top 3 pick, most of it are at #1 overall so he's pretty much one and done despite him saying he wants to stay for 2 years.
|1 week 7 hours ago||Actually,||
most NFL team add about .05-.1 to the pro day numbers, but they don't go by the official electronic timers because they think it's flawed. At combine, they go by 3 stopwatches by the scouts and avg the three which is their official time for a prospect they time. FWIW, they had Funchess at 4.55 which is about right considering the pro day time.
|1 week 7 hours ago||It's funny||
that NFL don't feel the same. They project Funchess as a day 2 pick while they gave Gardner a UDFA.
|1 week 15 hours ago||I've always see him as a 4||
where he'll slide into the 5 when Michigan decides to go small. That should help combat against the phsyicality of B1G conference play.
|1 week 15 hours ago||As long as Michigan take care of business||
and win B1G regular season and conference tournament, they should be able to host the super regional. At the very worst, they'll host only just the regional.
|1 week 15 hours ago||That's actually a good fit||
he can fill in Hernandez role as the #2 TE who can be a deadly receiver while Gronk will get the attention from defense.
|1 week 15 hours ago||They said||
completion percentage does not indicate accuracy. It doesn't tell the whole story which is why they chart QB accuracy from LOS, short, intermediate and deep. You can complete 60% by throwing a shit load of WR/RB screen or short passes without a problem. It's much harder to have high completion percentage by throwing intermediate to deep passes.
A good example where a completion does not mean it's an accurate pass. A WR has to reach for the ball behind him yet still caught the ball while there's no one in front of the WR. It counts as a completion, but the pro evaluators don't count it as an accurate throw despite the completion.
They said accuracy and decision making are two big reason why Devin Gardner will never be a NFL QB.
|1 week 16 hours ago||What we need is||
government remove cable/phone/internet companies from monopoly/oligopoly status where there's free competition. You'll see better package at a better price with faster internet speed as a result. Monopoly or oligopoly is a result of a service where consumers suffer the most.
|1 week 16 hours ago||FWIW,||
there are a lot of pro evaluators who kind of excused Funchess case of dropsies because of Devin Gardner's inability to throw an accurate ball and he often leaves Funchess out to dry in the middle. See Utah game as a good example where he alligatored his arms in the middle.
They see him more as a move TE who can line up at H-Back, slot WR and occasionally at the Y position. His most likely round projection is at 2nd round.
|1 week 1 day ago||It's just talks to appease||
It's just talks to appease any fanbase IMO. He's pretty much a one and done player and projected to be the #1 overall pick in the draft.

|1 week 1 day ago||Dawkins ain't gonna start||
Dawkins ain't gonna start over Jaylen Brown. He's guaranteed to start from day 1 and is a projected #1 overall pick in the NBA Draft. So in short, nope to Dawkins > Brown

|1 week 1 day ago||NFL won't take a look at him as a QB||
they're looking at him as a WR only. As of now, he likely to carry a UDFA grade from the teams.
|1 week 1 day ago||Most likely||
|1 week 1 day ago||Well better is the wrong word to use||
but more talented is probably the better one to use. If you compare both teams on paper, Tampa would be the better of the two.
|1 week 1 day ago||Not talking about the series||
talking about the team overall. Better is probably the wrong word for me to use. Talented is what I meant. Overall, on paper, Tampa is better than the Wings.
|1 week 1 day ago||The Wings are winning the series||
largely because of Marzek, penalty killing plus timely goals from players not expected to be a key scorer like Luke Glendening. They're winning this series in an Un-Wing like fashion and it's refreshing. It's clear that Tampa Bay is the better team, but give credit to the Wings for making it a much tougher series than anticipated.
It helps that the Wings got much better when Abdelkader was back. It helped stablized the forward rotation.
|1 week 2 days ago||It helps that teams don't have a good game tape||
on Cardale Jones plus OSU threw in a wrinkle to highlight the strength of Cardale while minimizing his weaknesses.
I disagree that Cardale gives them a better chance. It's Barrett that gives them a better chance over the long run.
The emergence of Zeke Elliott has helped the offense. Look at his stats in the last three games. All for over 200 yards with at least 6 yards per carry (two games of over 11 yards a carry). He's the real reason why OSU offense became a juggernaut IMO.
|1 week 2 days ago||Actually, a lot of pro evaluators||
that I've talked to. They said, they prefer Barrett to start at QB over Cardale because Barrett is a better passer and is more accurate than Cardale. The only edge that Cardale has is arm strength (but has very erratic accuracy) and size/power.
I agree with them Barrett is a better QB than Cardale and offers the offense more dimension with his arm and legs.
