Coaches' timeouts are worse. Basketball teams should get one, full stop.

seems to disprove that GRIII can't play defense. Standing around on offense is more of a by-product of JB's offense. Moving for a sake of moving is not JB's offense MO. GRIII is the best at off the ball scoring and does an outstanding job of finding holes on defense to get an easy dunk/layup.
|1 day 6 hours ago||If you blow out shit conference teams||
you're gonig to get rewarded for it because great teams will do it against bad teams. That's what Florida have done this season.
|1 day 9 hours ago||Lazy and uninspiring play||
has more to do with his demeanor than his effort level IMO. He tends to defer too much and is not the type of person who commands attention with his peersonality. He's a quiet kid who happen to be a great athlete. People can interpret as lazy and uninspiring play when it's the opposite.
GRIII is playing out of position at the 4 and has to guard players 3-4 inches taller and has at least 30 lbs on him. That has to take its toll on his body and it would make it a lot worse defensively.

I'd work an contract extension with Tim Miles ASAP. Look at the crowd and they are starting to believe in Nebraska. Nebraska is in great hands with him as the HC
|1 day 21 hours ago||Nebraska is 14-1 at home this season||
hopefully soon to be 15-1. So glad Michigan got a win at Nebraska on a close game. That was a huge win for Michigan though we didn't know at the time that Nebraska was going to be a tough out from then on.

especially when you consider the team surrounding him. Manny would've done much better if he had the same supporting cast as Stauskas. Manny was an underrated passer (see his Assist Rate which is very impressive considering no one else can shoot). I'd still put him at 1st team.

even though it's a netural site game by definition.
|3 days 36 min ago||I don't get how||
a loss helps a team. It does nothing to change their mindset.
|3 days 3 hours ago||Technically||
that's a 2nd road win for Michigan. Win over Detroit Mercy at Ultimate Soccer Arenas is a road win since that's their defacto home field, but it's really a netural game.

if a player does not sign and return to school, MLB team lose the right for that player unless they sign by a certain date which is somewhere in July.
Good example is Mark Appel.
Hot drafted by the Tigers at 15th round, but it was a desperation ploy in hope of signing him instead of him going to Stanford. In his Junior year, he was projected as a #1 overall pick but fell due to his signing bonus demand to #8 spot to the Pittsburgh Pirates. However, Appel did not sign with the Pirate as the deadline passed so he returned to Stanford for his Senior year. The next year, he got selected at #1 overall by the Astros and signed with them.
|5 days 2 hours ago||GRIII's quiet demeanor||
could cause people's conclusion lead to being disinterested and not putting forth an effort in a game. It is not GRIII's nature to be assertive and dominant. That is probably one of the more frustrating thing that fans and evaluators would see when looking at GRIII.
|5 days 3 hours ago||Not sure where you get this data||
but KenPom has Michigan scoring at 1.223 pointsper possession which is good for 3rd in the country. For comparison sake, Michigan scored 1.203 point per possession last year which is the best in the country. Pretty amazing that Michigan offense has gotten better this year after losing two first round picks to NBA and a potential first round pick to injury.
I can take comfort in the fact that Michigan offense is a well oiled machine and will not miss a beat even with the losses of key players. This is why John Beilein is one of the best coach in the country. He can take players that no one wanted and turn them into a ruthless efficient scorers.

it is Sic 'Em Bears which is their slogan trademark.
|5 days 7 hours ago||I will assume all good players or potential good players||
are 3 years guys with the trends of junior is the new senior year in terms of NBA aspiration.
|5 days 8 hours ago||Problem is Darius Morris||
has assurance from a team picking in late 1st round (rumor). The problem is player unexpectedly fall to their spot and they took that player instead of Darius. If Darius hadn't got a promise from a certain team, he would've been back IMO.
|6 days 1 hour ago||Because there is a rule||
if offense subsitute, the defense must have the same courtesy of subsituting at the same time. If defense tries to subsitute and offense does not, the offense has the right to snap it quickly for too many men on the field. The officials will stand over the ball if offense does subsitute.
|6 days 6 hours ago||Low efficient player?||
His ORatings is 112.3 which is efficient.
|6 days 7 hours ago||If Michigan beat Indiana and wins BTT||
I'd bet the committee will reward Michigan with a strong #2 seed in Midwest Region (with Witcha State as the #1 seed) with Milwaukee pod. That would be a ideal draw for Michigan IMO. Michigan will go no worse than #3 seed, but no better than #2 seed.
I don't care for either 2/3 seed, but I care about the matchup Michigan will have in their region.
Last year, Michigan got arguably the toughest road ever in the NCAA tournament. They played a top 25 team in VCU, 4 top 10 teams in Kansas, Florida, Syracuse and Louisville. It's amazing that Michigan struggled in the B1G but found ways to get on a tough run to the NC game. B1G has definitely prepared Michigan for the NCAA tournament.
This year, B1G is still the best conference, but they are not nearly as strong as last year. It's going to be interesting to see how the committee reward the B1G teams in seedings especially with the bubble teams.

|1 week 19 hours ago||He's only 20||
Amazing on how great of a rebounder he is at such a young age. He used his size, length and athleticism to get it. He has improved offensively, but still has ways to go. He is still raw and inexperienced especially when it comes to defense, but the potential is there.
GMs have to be palming at themselves for passing Drummond up in the draft and thus giftwrapping the Pistons a franchise center.
|1 week 1 day ago||Difference is||
watching Michigan plays on the court is a lot more aesthetically pleasing than watching Wisconsin trying to grind it out with defense. Michigan offense is more free flowing with open shots which gives that perceptions to some people that Michigan runs "fast".
|1 week 1 day ago||Because JB wants a bigger lineup||
preferably a 4 who has size and can shoot. Donnal fits that mold for a big lineup.

but there were talks by some people about not letting Horford take his 5th year at Michigan.
|1 week 1 day ago||From what I hear||
NFL team takes zero stock on Wonderlic test. There are some players who just don't give a shit and just put down whatever answers they feel like without trying. It's 99.9% for sure that Hyde is in the same boat.
|1 week 4 days ago||I'm not a college athlete||
but I tore ACL early on in football season and came back in 5 months in time for the start of baseball season.
It's realistic to come back in 5-6 months if you stay committed to rehabbing. Science and Sports Medicine has come so far that 6 months is the standard for recovery time. Anything longer than that, it's on the player for either being lazy or have incompetent medical staff.
|1 week 4 days ago||It's pretty typical for schools to report minor violations||
It's better to report violations as opposed to saying that there's no violations because NCAA will worry that you have something to hide.
I'm sure Michigan report tons of minor violations every year but it's not reported by the news outlet. OSU is no different than any other schools.
|1 week 4 days ago||If you're trying to make a football comparison||
Oregon would be the worst one on trying to compare great offense and bad defense.
Oregon's defensive rankings according to Football Outsiders:
The better comparison would probably be Oklahoma State. They got explosive offense but their defense is sub-par at best.
|1 week 6 days ago||Actually TO rate isn't a big surprise||
if you look at John Beilein team in the past. They take care of the ball really well. If you can't do it, you're not going to see time on the floor.
There's 4 things that JB value a lot when evaluating players.
1. Decision making (kind of go with TO hand in hand)

than Gallon at 4.33. Somehow, the official time went up .2 seconds which is interesting. DAT ran 10.1 in 100m in HS and that is blazing fast to put into perspective.

reps are between 20-30, NFL don't care for it.
Look at notable NFL DE's bench press #:
Aldon Smith: 22 rep
JPP: 21 rep
Chandler Jones: 20 rep
Carlos Dunlap: 22 rep
Ziggy Ansah: 21 rep
