|10 hours 39 min ago||Only one I can think of||
is Adrien Payne, but he was a 5* recruit who developed into a more well rounded game by his senior year. Other than that, no one really.

they allow zone defense. However, you will get hit with a technical foul for illegal defense for when you're inside the lane without guarding offensive player. So in reality, a zone but not really a zone defense.
Syracuse 2-3 zone defense would never work in NBA because they would get called for illegal defense in every possession.
|18 hours 59 min ago||Non-existent defense?||
Shows how much you know about NBA. It's nearly impossible to play defense like college because you can't grab, hand check players and/or play zone defense. The NBA players are much more proefficent in shooting the ball which makes it that much harder to guard players. There's so much more spacing in NBA that it really limit on what you can do as an individual player.
If any, it's NCAA that strip basketball fans of something fresh, cool, new and awesome with zone defense and hand checking rules.
|22 hours 7 min ago||The Suns||
would be a good fit for GRIII tbh. Fast paced team with Dragic and Bledsoe at G with GRIII flying down the court.
|23 hours 21 min ago||Really funny||
how Tennessee players completely supported Cuonzo Martin's decision to take Cal's job. It speak highly of him as a person/coach to have complete support from the player where they could've been angry with him leaving them without notice.
|1 day 3 hours ago||Struggled throughout the tournament||
Michigan made it to the B1G Championship game and went to Elite 8 before losing to eventual NC runner up, Kentucky, who are more talented than Michigan?
I'll take those "struggles" if that's the case.
|1 day 23 hours ago||There was a tweet||
from a sports reporter of NBA scout mentioning that GRIII is under the radar and thought that he is a late 1st rounder.
I can't find it anywhere but as of now, he may have gotten words from NBA draft committee that he got a late 1st round grade from them. That's good enough reason to bolt for the NBA.
|2 days 9 min ago||Or he can lose money||
like he did this year by staying one more year. He's not going to want to risk it one more year and lose his draft slot some more. As of now, he's projected as a late 1st to early 2nd.
|2 days 21 min ago||why do people keep refering to family||
when it's all about their own potential earnings. It's not like they will continue to live off from their parent's money. He is going to need to earn his own money eventually.
|3 days 4 hours ago||I agree||
can we just retire the term, "Ohio" as OSU because this is too confusing. Also, it needs to die because it was great to poke fun in Hoke's 1st year. Now, it's not that fun and Hoke is on the hot seat at the moment while OSU has gone 25-2 under Urban Meyer.

Tigers had Miller and Maybin, their farm system was ranked in top 5 so that's what I'm referring to. They had a surplus of young talents at their disposal and traded away most of them to get Miggy, Polcando, etc. Sure most of them became a dud but that didn't stop DD from acquiring better talent over the long run.
|4 days 22 hours ago||People forget||
that the Tigers once had a great farm system when he was the GM. He traded away most of them to get players like Miggy for example. The Tigers now are making an effort to rebuild the farm system.
|4 days 23 hours ago||Dombrowski||
won way more trades than he lost it. Time will tell if the deal is good for the Tigers or not. It is dependent on the development of Robbie Ray and Ian Krol.
Fister hasn't pitch this season due to injury. Way too early to say he lost the trade.
|4 days 23 hours ago||I don't blame him||
one bit for it. It's hard seeing his older brother, Al, having a lot of success in the NBA with multiple All-Star appearances. It's obvious that he has NBA aspirations that he's looking out for himself.
|5 days 38 min ago||It gives you more chance to||
flex your muscles on the lesser opponents thus reducing the probability of getting an upset. You want more opportunities to score points. The lesser teams are better served in getting fewer possessions thus increasing the variance of upsetting top teams.
|5 days 1 hour ago||27 for -27||
|5 days 1 hour ago||Dombrowski has made way more good moves than bad||
especially in trade market. I have zero idea why the GMs continue to deal with Dombrowski when he pretty much wins the trade more times than not, but I also hear he is one of the most respected GM in the game who deals with people very well. He has good eyes for talent (except for draft) and knows the timing of how a player is primed for a breakout or is on the way down.
I'm not too worried about Doug Fister trade for that reason. He targeted Robbie Ray as his centerpiece for the trade. If Robbie Ray do turn out as a very good starting pitcher, I'm fine with it as long as Krol can man down as a set up man down the road.
|6 days 3 hours ago||Two things||
1. They wanted to make the announcement themselves
2. They did make a decision only to change their mind at the last minute. It happens. Sources can be right yet be wrong if there's a last minute change of heart. I'm guessing that's what happened with Trey Burke. He was all set to go to NBA until the last minute. That doesn't mean that Goodman was wrong.
|1 week 2 hours ago||I honestly would take this trade||
Lions have a 3rd round pick plus 2 comp 4th round picks. Still plenty of picks to be had in the draft.
Another one to ponder is Lions trade their 1st and 3rd plus Nick Fairley for top 5 pick and a late round pick (7th). I wouldn't mind it if that's the case.
|1 week 18 hours ago||The immediate effect from going to NC run||
doesn't occur until class of 2016. 2014 is way too soon because they have been recruited since they were freshmen. Michigan was solid but not great program at the time.
They landed Kameron Chatman who is highly regarded recruit and landed him over Arizona and UCLA. So Michigan got some effect from last year's run but like I said, you won't be able to see it until 2016 class.
|1 week 1 day ago||KCP was the SEC POY last year||
so he can ball.....
|1 week 1 day ago||Way to judge a player||
on their 1st year. /hyperbole
There is a reason why you don't judge a player until it's their 3rd year in the league whether they can be a significant contributor.
To me, KCP will become a really solid player who can support a team as a key role player as a 3 & D type player.
|1 week 1 day ago||Not to mention that Joe D picked Darko||
just like the rest of the GMs at the time. There was a time where Darko was once considered to be a better prospect than LeBron.
|1 week 1 day ago||IMO||
signing Smith and Jennings are an act of desperation move when Gores told him Playoff or get fired. The problem is when a GM is on a life support with an ultimatium, they will make moves that looks good on paper talent wise, but are bad signings long term. You need a owner who will support the GM and preach patience so the GM can make the right moves long terms instead of rash signings like Jennings and Smith.
Not saying Joe D should be freed of blame, but when you have that kind of situation, GM tends to make stupid signings.
|1 week 1 day ago||Thing is if you take a player||
just for attendance purpose and to drive up ticket sales, you're going to get fired pretty soon. You take the player who will win you games for the next 5-10 years. Not saying KCP and Trey are the answer, but to declare that a player should be drafted to drive up revenues should be shot figuratively that is.
It's like people are saying Jacksonville Jaguars should draft Tim Tebow at 1st round to drive up attendance when in reality Tebow is a terrible QB. Just saying it as an example.
|1 week 1 day ago||Sometimes the best team comes||
from a shitty conference. Not saying UConn is the best team, but that does happen. Conference strength =/= has to have the best team in the country.
|1 week 1 day ago||I'm not talking about him||
coming back to play college ball. I never said anything about it. I'm talking about him as a student where he can come back and finish his degree.
|1 week 2 days ago||I'm pretty sure Michigan won't deny Nik||
from finishing up his degrees at Ross. To deny him and make the headline would not be a good PR for the university.
|1 week 2 days ago||You can always come back and get a college degree||
it will always be there whenever you need it. I honestly don't believe that you would pass up a 7 figure salary and delay your college education til it's time. You have to be pretty dumb to do so IMO.
|1 week 2 days ago||IMO||
he's doing it just to appease Michigan fans, but he's pretty much almost as good as gone. You know why? His dad talked about him going to NBA after this season in the middle of the season which pretty much confirmed about Nik's desire to get to NBA asap.
