should make Nebraska a definite NCAA tourney lock if it hasn't been already. What a great run by Tim Miles and the Cornhuskers. They proved that they deserved to be a #4 seed in the B1G tourney. Should be a tough game for Michigan in the semi-final!

can anyone share a link that has the game streamed? Can't get ESPN3 either

Most of his inaccuracy stemmed from his footwork. It's terrible. If he doesn't set his feet, his accuracy suffer big time. When he does, he is really accurate regardless of arm angle. Look at some of the ridiculous throws he made over the past year. The common theme is footwork, not his arm angle.
If it were all about arm angles, Philip Rivers would not be a NFL QB.

than both Gilbert who doesn't play like a 1st rounder IMO and Dennard whom I don't think is a fit for Lions scheme. Fuller offers scheme verstatility and is really good at off man coverage which is something that CB struggles.
|1 day 12 hours ago||I understand and agree||
but it's hard to improve on a unit that is arguably the best in the league. Got a big time steal in Warford at 3rd round who played at All-Pro level. RR and Waddle shown that they will start for the Lions for the next 10 years. Sims is a solid starting LG. Riaola is the weak link but had his best season last year (PFF have him as the best C based on last season play).
|1 day 15 hours ago||The only thing that Lions need from OL||
is to find future starting C to replace Riaola. I don't see Matthews or Robinson at #10 anyway. Lewan isn't worth taking at #10 overall IMO.
|1 day 16 hours ago||IMO||
I think Lions will take Eric Ebron at #10 overall. A freak athlete who can actually play football. Would be a seam stretching TE that Lions need.
|1 day 16 hours ago||Lions drafted CBs||
Darius Slay who is slated to be the starting CB at 2nd round.
Bill Bentley who is slated to be the starting Nickelback at 2nd round.
Jonte Green is the backup outside CB at 6th round.
Chris Greenwood is the backup outside CB at 5th round.
They have drafted enough young CBs and it's time for them to swim or sink this year. I'm confident in Slay and Bentley. I also think Green showed promise in limited playing time. Greenwood is still work in progress. Rookie CBs won't do them any good because they will struggle in their 1st year. I'm pretty sure that Dennard, Gilbert, Fuller, etc. aren't upgrade over Houston/Slay.
|1 day 16 hours ago||Why would they draft OL at 1st round||
when it's their biggest strength on offense?
|2 days 7 hours ago||Exactly this||
Lions OL was arguably the best in the league. They protected Stafford really well and open running lanes for Bush/Bell. Only thing I would focus on OL is find a future starting C to replace Riaola.
|2 days 7 hours ago||Why would the Lions take||
a OT in the 1st round when they already have their starting OTs in Reiff and Waddle for the next 10 years? That move makes no sense whatsover.
Gabe Ikard is a C that struggles in man blocking scheme and is better suited for ZBS. He's not a fit for the Lions.
|2 days 9 hours ago||Disagree||
Tate is an established proven young WR who is productive as opposed to unproven rookie who is strictly a slot WR. Tate can line up at Z and slot WR whereas Gallon can't.
|2 days 9 hours ago||It was 12 million of cap space||
before signing Tate and re-signing Bell. There's no cap space for Revis. Need to have at least 5 million for draft picks.
|2 days 11 hours ago||He can play #1 WR||
but he can line up anywhere which is a plus. Guaranteed money is tiny which is good for the Lions. Thought it'd be more. Overall, the contract is pretty good IMO
|2 days 12 hours ago||Not all DB positions||
FS is the only one that they have a big need with the cutting of Delmas. I like Houston (if he bounce back), Slay and Quin as the starter plus Bentley at nickel.
|2 days 12 hours ago||Tate is underrated||
Look at Pro Football Focus article on Golden Tate:
|2 days 12 hours ago||Nah||
I still think Lions goes offense or Mack in this area. I rather have Lions draft Jimmie Ward in 2nd round. He's better than 3 of them listed above IMO.
|2 days 12 hours ago||He wasn't awful last year and played really well||
at nickel CB last year IMO.
|2 days 12 hours ago||Lions can still get Watkins at 1st round if they trade up.||
I don't think Lions will target CBs at 1st round either. They are firmly behind Houston and Slay as the starter. They also have Bill Bentley at nickel CB. It's S that they need help more than CB with the departure of Delmas.
|4 days 16 hours ago||UMHoops numbers on defensive ratings||
seems to disprove that GRIII can't play defense. Standing around on offense is more of a by-product of JB's offense. Moving for a sake of moving is not JB's offense MO. GRIII is the best at off the ball scoring and does an outstanding job of finding holes on defense to get an easy dunk/layup.
|4 days 16 hours ago||If you blow out shit conference teams||
you're gonig to get rewarded for it because great teams will do it against bad teams. That's what Florida have done this season.
|4 days 18 hours ago||Lazy and uninspiring play||
has more to do with his demeanor than his effort level IMO. He tends to defer too much and is not the type of person who commands attention with his peersonality. He's a quiet kid who happen to be a great athlete. People can interpret as lazy and uninspiring play when it's the opposite.
GRIII is playing out of position at the 4 and has to guard players 3-4 inches taller and has at least 30 lbs on him. That has to take its toll on his body and it would make it a lot worse defensively.
|5 days 6 hours ago||If I'm Nebraska AD||
I'd work an contract extension with Tim Miles ASAP. Look at the crowd and they are starting to believe in Nebraska. Nebraska is in great hands with him as the HC
|5 days 6 hours ago||Nebraska is 14-1 at home this season||
hopefully soon to be 15-1. So glad Michigan got a win at Nebraska on a close game. That was a huge win for Michigan though we didn't know at the time that Nebraska was going to be a tough out from then on.
|6 days 4 hours ago||Manny Harris was asked to do a ton||
especially when you consider the team surrounding him. Manny would've done much better if he had the same supporting cast as Stauskas. Manny was an underrated passer (see his Assist Rate which is very impressive considering no one else can shoot). I'd still put him at 1st team.
|6 days 9 hours ago||Detroit consider it their homefield||
even though it's a netural site game by definition.
|6 days 9 hours ago||I don't get how||
a loss helps a team. It does nothing to change their mindset.
|6 days 12 hours ago||Technically||
that's a 2nd road win for Michigan. Win over Detroit Mercy at Ultimate Soccer Arenas is a road win since that's their defacto home field, but it's really a netural game.
|1 week 1 day ago||You're correct||
if a player does not sign and return to school, MLB team lose the right for that player unless they sign by a certain date which is somewhere in July.
Good example is Mark Appel.
Hot drafted by the Tigers at 15th round, but it was a desperation ploy in hope of signing him instead of him going to Stanford. In his Junior year, he was projected as a #1 overall pick but fell due to his signing bonus demand to #8 spot to the Pittsburgh Pirates. However, Appel did not sign with the Pirate as the deadline passed so he returned to Stanford for his Senior year. The next year, he got selected at #1 overall by the Astros and signed with them.
|1 week 1 day ago||GRIII's quiet demeanor||
could cause people's conclusion lead to being disinterested and not putting forth an effort in a game. It is not GRIII's nature to be assertive and dominant. That is probably one of the more frustrating thing that fans and evaluators would see when looking at GRIII.
