|12 hours 37 min ago||Well it's true||
Has his offense ever been at least decent when he's the OC? Don't understand the Loeffler love other than he played and coached at Michigan. He's not good at all.
|1 day 13 hours ago||It helps that it's at USA's homefield||
Host nations always fare well in WC. I believe they have never been eliminated at group stage.
|1 day 16 hours ago||Ghana||
has knocked out USA twice in the WC. Last WC, USA defense cannot keep Asamoah Gyan in check and he wreaked havoc all game long. USA isn't strong on defense so that's troubling.
|1 day 16 hours ago||Portugal is ranked #5 in the world||
so they're a defacto #2 seed in our region. USA has suspect defense and facing Ronaldo won't make it easy. Saying Portugal is a joke is silly considering they have advanced past group stage since 2002.
|1 day 16 hours ago||USA got a very favorable draw||
last world cup so let's not just say FIFA screwed USA.

The poster decided to be a douche by flamebaiting Soccer fans in this thread.

Fixed it for ya
|2 days 10 hours ago||Well I expect Northwestern players||
to sound or be read like they're an intelligent people. After all, they graduated from Northwestern which has the highest academic standards in the B1G conference. Ditto with Stanford, Ivy League schools, etc.
|2 days 13 hours ago||It really should be the entire coaching staff||
for keeping the team together when Kill was out for a while. They did a fantastic job of leading the Golden Gophers to a 8 win season which exceeds anybody's expectations.
|2 days 13 hours ago||We always look at it from the QB/coach's perspective||
but not with the RB's perspective and what do they do if they get the ball. Really good read. I wish more former athletes can write articles like this with their own respective positions, explaining their jobs and why they chose what they choose. More people would read it IMO instead of the stupid fluff piece that we see every day (ESPN is the biggest offender and they think that we're 10 yr old viewers who don't know shit about football).
|2 days 16 hours ago||Not surprised.||
Everything I've been told points towards no charge. But let's not villify the victim for pressing charge because it could deter future victims from pressing charge.
|2 days 20 hours ago||Just about 60-70% of the players drafted||
at 1st round are busts. Look at the past drafts, it's astonishing that it's been that bad. If you can get an elite shooter with elite defense, teams would take that every time at #8 overall. People wants superstar, but that's rare. Getting a Paul George this late in the draft is rare and you shouldn't expect that. The expectation is can he contribute to the team in a positive way. If yes, he'll be an useful player. Depending on the strength of the draft, if you have a top 3 pick, you should expect a superstar.
|2 days 20 hours ago||One good team led by 6th man||
San Antonio Spurs ring a bell for ya? Manu has been arguably their best player on the team and he came off the bench.
|2 days 20 hours ago||Yeah a moron||
who won NBA championship in his tenure and has essentially his hands tied due to the owner situation with Davidson death and his wife not wanting to do anything with the franchise.
He has made some bad moves, but he's not one of the worst GM in the league.
|3 days 17 hours ago||Washington has new football stadium being built||
so resources are there for the taking. The fan base used to be really good until they sucked for a while. If Washington can get back to being a title contender, they'll get them back. Ed O has a really good rep as a good recruiter plus he won't have to deal with USC in their backyard at LA/SoCal.
UCLA put way less resources and less support from the athletic department.
|4 days 9 hours ago||He's a true freshman starting at QB||
you should expect him not to be good in his 1st year. Truth is he really progressed into a decent QB by the end of the year. I like his potential as a QB. Good arm and accuracy. ND offense should be better with him at QB.
|4 days 20 hours ago||Tigers never thought||
he would be a 3B because of defensive liability. Much easier to hide it at corner OF as opposed to 3B. There is a reason why they moved him to LF
|5 days 6 hours ago||INT and tackles||
doesn't tell me anything about a CB's play on the field. Their job is to cover WRs and their stats should be zero across the board which means the QBs avoided going after them. You can get a lot of INT and tackles if QBs keep picking on you which means more opportunities for them to accumulate stats.
|5 days 8 hours ago||More importantly||
why is he doubting Robbie Ray? He's a lefty who can go up to 96 and has the stuff to be a really good set up man.
|5 days 9 hours ago||Drew Smyly||
will be the #5 starter in the starting rotation and Porcello replace Fister at #4.
|5 days 9 hours ago||He project||
as a .290-.300 hitter in the MLB. It's his 2nd year in the MLB. He hit over .300 in the minor league. Look at his minor league numbers, it's better than you think. Project as a plus defender with a good bat.
|5 days 9 hours ago||Lombardozzi is better than Santiago||
Better defender and can actually hit. When I said Infante's role, I mean as a utility IF.
|5 days 9 hours ago||I trust in Dombrowski||
he has more than earned my trust. His track record with regards to trades have been stellar. Remember when fans were upset when they traded away Granderson? What about Cameron Maybin/Andrew Miller? What about getting Fister in return? Dombrowski knows what he's doing.
It appears that Robbie Ray and Steve Lombardozzi are the two main players that Dombrowski wanted. Lombardozzi fills Infante's spot. Ray could fill in the bullpen with his power arm as a lefty.
|6 days 7 hours ago||Their best year||
is with a Brett Favre with an amazing season before falling back to earth. The Vikings could've been so much better with a good QB play. Now, their defense is terrible with Jared Allen on the decline and their offense aren't that much better with a bad QB play anchoring them.
|6 days 7 hours ago||Look at SB winning teams||
they pretty much all consists of 1st round QBs. Russell Wilson, Drew Brees and Tom Brady are the exception to the rules. It is a bigger gamble on drafting a QB after 1st round because if he ends up as an average QB, you're pretty much stuck on a solid to mediocre team with no shot of drafting a franchise QB. If you're in top 10 and if there's a franchise QB sitting in your lap, you have to take him. If you pass on him and that QB becomes one of the best QB in the league, you deserve to be a terrible team for years to come.
|6 days 7 hours ago||Look at Houston Texans||
they had awesome roster around a solid vet in Schuab. What did they get in return? Zero SB appearance and zero playoff wins. A great QB would put them over the hump.
Also look at Minnesota Vikings a few years ago. Awesome team with average QB. Zero playoff wins.
If you strike out on a QB, you continue to find a franchise QB. Franchise QB >>>>>> Game changer position players. QB is the most important position and why it's much better to take a gamble on a QB than other positional player because the upside is greater.
|6 days 9 hours ago||The best way to get back to the top||
is to draft a QB at 1st round. If you pass on a franchise QB, shame on you.
|6 days 9 hours ago||I think||
Teddy Bridgewater, Derek Carr and Zach Mettenberger will be drafted at 1st round. IMO, Hundley and Mariota stays for one more year. Everything I've been hearing points to both staying at UCLA and Oregon.
|6 days 12 hours ago||Henne won't get a starting job||
the Jaguars are all set to take a QB in the 1st round. Henne is a backup QB at best.
|6 days 15 hours ago||Actually OSU||
has been ranked ahead of Auburn in computer polls. It's OSU's spot to lose unless they lose at B1G championship game. Nothing that Auburn can do except hope that OSU lose and they win in SEC Championship game.
Auburn have beaten 2 top 25 teams and OSU have beaten 1 top 25 team. SEC has been mediocre as whole, 3 teams are legit top 10 teams while B1G has 2 legit top 10 teams.
