|1 day 12 hours ago||Arizona||
finished 19th on Defensive FEI rating last season.
Arizona DFEI ratings since RR took over:
2012: 68 (huge improvement from 110 in 2011 when Stoops got fired)
To say he has tear it up is false.
|1 day 12 hours ago||Harbaugh has been offered the job while RR was the coach||
but took SF job instead mainly because his wife didn't want to leave Bay Area and it's a NFL coaching job.
|1 day 13 hours ago||If Lions defense continues to play well,||
what do you think of Teryl Austin? If DB is bent on having a Michigan Man connection, he would be a good candidate. Defense has been great under him at UF and coached good players as a position coach.
Despite having a shit load of injuries on defense, Lions defense is top 5 in the league.
|1 day 17 hours ago||If they're not a good team||
then what does that make Michigan? A shitty team?
|1 day 21 hours ago||Interesting stats||
Michigan passed the ball more than they ran the ball in RR's 1st year. RR has shown that he can adapt his system to his QBs. He had Shaun King and Tulane aired it out. If he has a QB who can throw the ball, he'll air it out more than you think.
Mallett just looked at RR's system in WVU len and decided to transfer without ever talking to RR.
|2 days 7 hours ago||RR has been looking for a dual threat QB who can pass||
after he got Denard. You can see it in his recruiting during his time at Michigan.
Plus it helps that Arizona has WRs that are deep and talented. Cayleb Jones and Austin Hill are two of the best WRs in the conference. Much easier to air it out especially when they lost Ka'Deem Carey to NFL.
|2 days 19 hours ago||Except EMU||
has at least won a game against FCS team. Miami lost to FCS team and hasn't won a game. Still a debate because neither teams have showed anything against FBS competition.
|2 days 20 hours ago||Pac 12 >>>> B1G last year||
and Utah beat Pac 12 Champion, Stanford so there's that.
Utah finished ranked higher in F+/- combined rankings. Utah finished at 31 while Michigan finished at 37. Utah was in it in most games with one bad blowout loss.
|6 days 19 hours ago||Utah will be a tough test||
Michigan secondary will be tested not because of Utah's tempo, but their WRs especially Dres Anderson who is a NFL prospect in his own right and their best player on the team. Dres Anderson may not have a top end speed, but his quickness, acceleration and route running is what makes him a tough cover for any CBs. If Peppers draw the assignment, he better be on his A game or he'll get burned.
Travis Wilson is a solid QB and appears to be much better than last year where he was often feast or famine depending on the game. Utah offense is explosive, but can be prone to turning the ball over a lot.
Utah defense is very stout and should provide Michigan offense a much stiffer test than Appy State and Miami. They may not have the athletes they once have in the past, but they're a well coached team who can tackle.
If Michigan takes them lightly, they'll definitely lose to them. It will be a hard fought game right to the end.
|6 days 19 hours ago||In reality||
HS team would get shut out against a D1 team, no matter how bad they are.
|6 days 20 hours ago||This is why I'm not worried about||
Michigan Basketball as long as they have Beilein. Michigan won a share of B1G title with arguably one of the least talented team ever to win it. That's a big accomplishment considering the players they have on the team.
Now, Michigan is much more talented and B1G is down compared to the previous years. They can still challenge for the B1G title, but Wisconsin has to be a favorite to win the title. As long as LeVert, Irvin and Walton can make a leap, I'm confident that they'll be able to reach Elite 8 for the third straight years.
|1 week 2 days ago||So what does that make Michigan?||
Are we terrible as well?
|1 week 2 days ago||How can Michigan look this bad against ND||
when Purdue is making a game out of it? smh
|1 week 2 days ago||Purdue||
arguably the worst team in B1G just scored on ND....... -__-
|1 week 2 days ago||There's MSU and||
..... maybe OSU. That's it.
|1 week 2 days ago||Scott Loeffler is awful as a OC||
I hope that Michigan doesn't try to hire him to be the OC if they do have a new coaching staff. Offense has been terrible in every stop he has gone.
|1 week 5 days ago||You'll see it from Connor Cook||
who is a good QB in his own right. Doesn't have the mobility of Golson, but his arm talent is undeniable. He can make a lot of throws that not many college QBs can make.

If offense improves, I can see a 12 win team
|2 weeks 8 hours ago||It's really a meh division.||
It's really a meh division. Bears and Packers defense are really bad. Packers has issues on offense. Bears offense is solid but Cutler has issue as well. Vikings has good young talents but is a year or two away from contending for the division. Lions has the best defense by far and hopefully has Stafford playing well. Lions can win this division with ease. They went 4-2 in the division last year. Lions strength plays into both Bears and Packers weaknesses
|2 weeks 1 day ago||It's MSU and it's not even close||
MSU should run the table with ease. Their defense is still good and offense has improved. Cook has the making of a high draft pick.
Before Braxton Miller's injury, I thought it's MSU and OSU then everybody else. Now, it's MSU and then there's everybody else.
|2 weeks 1 day ago||Utah has good defense||
and the best player is their WR, Dres Anderson. He is a very good NFL prospect. May not have the top end speed, but his acceleration, quickness and route running is what makes him a tough cover.
If Michigan CBs can't cover Dres, it's going to be a long day for Michigan defense.
|2 weeks 1 day ago||So?||
UTSA is a legit team who is a favorite to win Conference USA. Size doesn't matter if you can play. UTSA can play and they nearly beat Arizona at home in front of a very good crowd. UTSA has 23 senior playing and it is an very experienced team who is not afraid of anybody.
They beat down Conference USA preseason title favorite, Houston at Houston with ease.
|2 weeks 1 day ago||No||
DB have offered the job to Harbaugh in the backdoor while RR was still the coach. It was a done deal before NFL called him.
|2 weeks 1 day ago||Actually||
Bama front 7 aren't good at pressuring the QB which is impressive considering they're a dominant defense.
|2 weeks 1 day ago||Actually UTSA||
is a favorite to win Conference USA. They were a contender last year, but with senior laden team, they're a tough out for anybody who scheduled them.
|2 weeks 1 day ago||Actually||
Rich Rod Arizona team pass the ball more than you think.
To the core, Oregon and Arizona spread option offense is still based on the running game.
|2 weeks 1 day ago||Not with MSU in the same division||
I think MSU will win out after keeping up with Oregon at Oregon. They'll demolish every B1G team in their schedule.
|2 weeks 1 day ago||If it was that easy||
then Michigan should've scored pts because ND did take their foot off the gas.....
In reality, Michigan was down at halftime because defense did not force a single punt which makes it impossible for offense to get into a rhythm. If it was that easy, then Michigan wouldn't be shut out last night, wouldn't they?
|2 weeks 1 day ago||Rich Rod Offense was top 5 in||
Rich Rod Offense was top 5 in offensive efficiency according to football outsiders so they were elite but the defense was terrible. Hard to put up points when you have to score Tds everytime which fuels the perceptions that they can't score when it counts
|2 weeks 1 day ago||MSU can still make the||
MSU can still make the playoff. They lost to Oregon at Oregon and did a damn good job playing them until mid 2nd half. If they win out, which is a realistic possibility considering the state of B1G, they have a shot of making the playoff.
