I thought McCord was just…

I thought McCord was just okay. Not good like most think he is here.

Contrary to the popular…

Contrary to the popular opinion, I want Bryson to make a charge to win. I come to like him and YouTube played a big role in me liking Bryson. He seems like a good guy with some quirk. He's a huge golf nerd who constantly searches for an edge.

If Jace is a problem player,…

If Jace is a problem player, he wouldn't be back. May has zero obligation to keep him since he used up 4 years of scholarship. I think Sanderson wanted to use Jace as an example to rail on Juwan.

I think Nike was losing…

I think Nike was losing money on golf and has largely abandoned golf market except for Tiger.

I mean Juwan has landed a…

I mean Juwan has landed a bunch of transfers to his team like Mike Smith, Chaundee Brown, Devante Jones, Jaelin Llewellyn, Joey Baker, Nimari Burnett, and Oliver Nkamhoua.

It's just happen that Caleb Love and Terrance Shannon are two high profile transfers that did not get admitted.

Because JB told him which…

Because JB and Warde told him which type of players can get through in transfer portal. Dusty knows what to expect from the transfer portal and is basically targeting freshmen/sophomore and grad transfers.

Grad transfers are nearly automatically admitted so it's not a problem.

I would be surprised if Wolf…

I would be surprised if Wolf plays PF unless they play Indiana or teams that likes to play two bigs on the floor.

I think Scheffler wins it if…

I think Scheffler wins it if he's putting holds up for him. He is one of the best ball strikers on the tour, and I know many PGA-certified coaches are confused by his backfoot sliding techniques that defy convention.

New name on the board: Tre…

New name on the board: Tre Donaldson, G from Auburn.

He's visiting Michigan on April 19th. It'll be interesting to see if both Donaldson and Holloway wants to transfer to the same school since both are competing for the same position. Although Dusty's system would allow both on the court since both can be on ball and off ball guards. Holloway doesn't fit the ideal size that May look for in a guard but he's a former 5* recruit with elite shooting.

I mean KBA has brought in an…

I mean KBA has brought in an elite recruiting class including two McD AAs. The roster has a lot of guards and very light on the frontcourt. The frontcourt is an issue for KBA at the moment.

Iowa was certainly elevated…

Clark certainly elevated Iowa, but Iowa had been a very good team before CC. Bluder has recruited well and consistently in finding quality players like Gutsafon, CC, etc. She has a good track record that we shouldn't expect Iowa to fall off the cliff, though they'll lose a lot in CC, Marshall and Martin from the starting lineup. Iowa does have a #9 class coming in. They made it to the Elite 8 before CC, so it's not unreasonable that they're an S16, E8 team in the post-CC era.

Iowa was certainly elevated…

Double post.

He's a grad transfer. He…

He's a grad transfer. He should not have a problem transferring.

No need to be a dick

No need to be a dick

The decision tree is way too…

The decision tree is way too simplistic when it comes to evaluating basketball players. Way more to it than position, can they score, etc.

DE vision is bad. I cringe…

DE vision is bad. I cringe that he constantly runs into the OL's back but he gets away with it because he is fast. That's not going to cut it in the NFL.

That and the NIL rules that…

That and the NIL rules that were perceived to be in place are no longer applicable, so the schools following the rules can now be more aggressive with the NIL. It's just bad timing all around.

Dailey and Rooths would be…

Dailey and Rooths would be an ideal 4 for May. Get someone with size and athletic ability but can be a connector for the team.

The ideal starting line up…

The ideal starting line up would be Wolf backing up Goldin and May landing Dailey/Rooths to play the 4. May would want a guard at the SF position. I do not believe that May would be playing at the 4, he would be a huge defensive liability there where his deficiencies would be hidden at the 5.

Essegian is overrated by a lot of peeps here. He was quite bad last season and a defensive turnstile. There is a reason why Blackwell, Storrs and Klesmit are playing over him. He would be JAS for Michigan but most likely as a bench player if they need shooting.

Ideal off-season for May:

-…

Ideal off-season for May:

- Land FAU players (Davis, Boyd and Goldin)

- Get Rooths to re-commit to Michigan

- Land Liam McNeeley over the blue blood programs (Long shot, but the fact that McNeeley consistently mentioned Michigan is notable)

- Wolf transfer to Michigan

I've heard the opposite and…

I've heard the opposite and have seen him play. He'll be a liability at the 4 on defense.

Another example is Austin Davis has great feet at the post, but he's slow-footed. Great feet and being able to play the 4 aren't mutually exclusive.

Golf is not a 4. He's a 5…

Golf is not a 4. He's a 5. He's more of a stretch big than a stretch forward. He's too slow footed to play at the 4 especially at the B1G level.

Wolf would be willing to backup Goldin and still get 15 min per then start the following year.

Also, we only heard…

Also, we only heard Sanderson's side of the story via report. Not condoning Jace's action, but there's always different side of the story of the incident.

MSU struggled this season…

MSU struggled this season and their NCAA tourney resume hasn't been great. They have zero spacing and is a terrible shooting team. Townsend solves nothing for the team.

I don't see the fit, if any…

I don't see the fit, if any Izzo should prioritize shooters. He'll only have Akins as his shooter and everyone else except maybe Booker are non-shooters.

Michigan should make the…

Michigan should make the Regional Finals, but no one is touching Oklahoma this season. They have been impressive all season long. It'll be down to Bama and Michigan for the Finals along with Oklahoma.

There's rumor that May is…

There's rumor that May is looking to hire Akeem Miskdeen from UGA. He is also the reason why Johnell Davis committed to FAU. He's also Khani Rooths primary recruiter at UGA. Something to think about.

He can recruit and coach…

He can recruit and coach defense. It's a good hire.

Wonder if he can bring Eric Dailey into the fold now that Dailey is in the portal. Same with Eric Garrison. Both are freshmen so getting admitted to Michigan shouldn't be a big issue.

Huh? Goldin would absolutely…

Huh? Goldin would absolutely be penciled in as a starter

Yes, they just need to pass…

Yes, they just need to pass TOEFL and among other admission requirements. They need to ensure they have enough time for the NCAA and admission to approve of their eligibility.

Apparently, Michigan is in…

Apparently, Michigan is in the lead for Wolf and Wolf may be okay backing up next season then start the following season. Michigan is in needs of multiple bigs so Goldin/Wolf platoon would be a good thing for Michigan.

Dug wasn't ever going to be…

Dug wasn't ever going to be back with Michigan regardless of the coach.

Johnell Davis has never been…

Johnell Davis has never been a PG. He mostly moonlight as a PF at FAU, but if I had to guess, he'll play a lot of SG and SF at Michigan.

HVL was at Louisville last…

HVL was at Louisville last season and Angel Reese was at Maryland 2 seasons ago. WBB is affected by it.

WNBA still do not allow players to get drafted until 3 years out of HS which helps the overall product of CWBB.

Because she takes a lot of…

Because she takes a lot of tough shots. Her FT shooting suggest that her 3 pt percentage will get better. She has a ton in her bag like in/out, push cross, euro step, step back, reverse pivot, etc that most players don't get. Hence my Cam Thomas comparison. Supremely talented offensive player but inefficient as hell.

Based on his system and…

Based on his system and typical center. Rosaro is more of what he looks for in a C hence his pursuit of Danny Wolf recruitment. Goldin is a former P5 player and he's a take.

Goldin is definitely a 100%…

Goldin is definitely a 100% take for May. He would be one of the best big man in the B1G if he decides to follow May. However, he's not a typical big that May wants in his system but he made it work because he's too talented. He wants C who can be similar to Mo Wagner in terms of shooting, passing and dribbling.

JuJu is already a problem…

JuJu is already a problem but she got a lot of Cam Thomas to her game. Supremely gifted offensive player and is an iso player. At 6'2" with her arsenal of moves, she's very hard to guard. That being said, she's only a freshman and already playing like an elite player. B1G is going to have a hard time guarding her.

Because she's a homophobic…

Because she's a homophobic POS.

I say she's more like Trae…

I say she's more like Trae Young than Curry. Curry isn't a passer than Clark is. That's a compliment because Trae can score and pass as well as shooting from long distance.

The word is Wolf is content…

The word is Wolf is content being a backup C at Michigan if he wants to play at Michigan. He almost went to Michigan as a walk-on.

Wolf most likely will be a…

Wolf most likely will be a backup C, not a starter. He nearly walked on to Michigan before committing to Yale. Wolf is not a 4. He's not athletic enough to be a 4 regardless and especially in May's system.

Yup, no schools were gonna…

Yup, no schools were gonna lure top P5 coaches away from the schools. Michigan isn't a blue blood so they made the best out of it. They got their #1 guy on the list and stole him away from Louisville.

Counterpoint: Michigan won…

Counterpoint: Michigan won B1G with Zack Novak playing at PF. Does it help to have size? Absolutely, but there are more ways to win. Beside, May has been reportedly wanting to find a 4 with size who can do guard things which he will never get at FAU but can get at Michigan.

I wonder if May tries to…

I wonder if May tries to bring Rooth back into the fold. He certainly fits the big wing archetype. It may be too late for it, but it can't hurt. His list is UGA and Mississippi State so there's a chance?

Bingo, well said. So many…

Bingo, well said. So many people here spout stuff on things they don't know. It's tiresome seeing them rage whenever the word Warde Manuel shows up on this site.

Football is its own dynamic…

Football is its own dynamic where it's the school's #1 revenue generating sport. Not the same with baseball.

He was bad on defense in his…

He was bad on defense in his freshman year so it's not his back related issue. He would be playing more if he can shoot but he wasn't able to get back to his freshman year level.

Also Blackwell, Storrs, Kleismet outplayed him so there wasn't room for him to see time on the floor.

Wake Forest is in a warmer…

Wake Forest is in a warmer weather state and is in a major conference where B1G is the opposite of it.
