missed his freshman year due to redshirt and missed most of this season due to injury. How is it the same as Moeller when he redshirted his freshman year and missed the entire season as a redshirt junior and then missed most of the season in his redshirt senior year. The key is he missed the entire year as a redshirt junior which accounted for the NCAA granting him a 6th year of eligibility.

NCAA didn't want to take a look at his case until he got his bachelor degree. Is that part of the requirement on applying for the 6th year waiver? If so, that explains the timing.
|12 hours 40 min ago||Difference is he||
didn't play a game in his 5th year. Winning practice awards tell me nothing because he could've been coaching from the sideline, helping out his teammates on how to run the scout team. Why do we assume that he actually wore pads and played football in practice?

NBA is far more watchable now than ever because of 3 pt shooting and spacing. Way to put in a blanket statement without watching a game of NBA
|2 days 22 hours ago||He's going to get that $20 million extension||
if it's not the Pistons, then someone will because SG market sucks and KCP would be one of the better SG FA option in the market. He gives them 3 and D which is valuable.

and still put up points on the other end. Considering on the whole roster playing this season, KCP has been the best player on the team this season.
|2 days 23 hours ago||Did you know that KCP||
is shooting 40% from 3 pt for the season? He has been their best player this season.

at all. He can pass but the Pistons really need a Kyle Korver type who can be a gravitational pull for the defense to open up the Reggie/Dre PnR
|3 days 21 hours ago||Wazzu||
is the worst P5 coaching job in the country (you can probably argue Oregon State) in terms of location and state recruiting strength. Wazzu is in the middle of nowhere and is located in a very small town. They have to compete with Washington which offers better location and gets more of a pull from instate recruits.
You know what's interesting about Wazzu this season? Their defense is ranked 43 in the country in FEI and 63 in S&P so defense wasn't the problem. They're pretty balanced and it's the slow start that hurts Washington State but they played well in Pac-12.

offense under Lane Kiffin is the offense has evolved from smashmouth offense into WCO offense which then turned into RPO offense. Bama offense runs a similar scheme as Urban Meyer offense and does a lot of RPO plays to highlight Jalen Hurts strength as a QB.

Buckner has been solid for a rookie but Bosa is a superior player this season. There's no argument for it and Bosa plays 5tech, the same position as Buckner yet outproduced him in sacks and pressure
|5 days 12 hours ago||Taylor Decker has played||
well this year and was rock solid as a blindside protector for Stafford. He was left on the island for the majority of the time and stood tall against pass rusher. His footwork and techniques were superb.
If there's anything that he can improve on, it's his run blocking and consistency overall. The Lions have found their franchise LT and they didn't need to spend a top 10 pick to get it.
|5 days 12 hours ago||lol no||
Bosa produced more pressure and sacks and did great against the run. That is despite missing 4 games and no training camp. His seaosn was more impressive and far better overall than Buckner.
|5 days 12 hours ago||Which makes it all the more impressive||
that he didn't start for a few games and was stuck behind Langford and Carey. He finally got the starting job for good midway into the season.
|1 week 1 hour ago||Because he probably||
doesn't want deal with recruiting year round and only wants to coach. Pro position coach offers more time off from work than college.
|1 week 2 hours ago||Syracuse is a pass first team||
They pass the ball way more than they run the ball so judging his coaching acumen based on stats isn't fair.

play at both IDL and EDGE position. Can make a lot of money if he can do it and NFL are realizing the power of 3T who can pass rush.

tends to be taken with a grain of salt because it's always based on reputation than anything.
For Kalis case, it's a case of lack of good OL in B1G. Kalis was meh at best this season but when he had to face a good DT, he can't block him to save his life. Jaleel Johnson and Demarcus Walker comes into mind.

Michigan needs speed at LB to pair up with McCray because McCray is pretty slow on the field. As long as he's not isolated by OC at pass coverage, he should be fine

Load of talent? The potential talent pool is cut down by like 60% bc of the current administration.
|1 week 3 days ago||Helps that in the past that||
Helps that in the past that administration let Tedford get that type of players bc of academics or questionable off field. Now, they don't do it anymore which made it harder for Cal to succeed. Marshawn and DeSean wouldn't have been a Bear under current administration
|1 week 3 days ago||Man, you are in for a rude awakening||
I've been consitent that I have friends in the NFL and they're all saying the same thing. They think Peppers aren't as good as most people think they are because he doesn't have a true position and his coverage skills leaves a lot to be desired. It's a huge gamble based on his potential and they said they rather go for a sure thing in Adams and Hooker because they have done safety duties that Peppers havent done at Michigan.
|1 week 4 days ago||Well actually, they have to||
Well actually, they have to be able to cover adequately an Gedeon can't do it. They want Lbs who can cover and move
|1 week 4 days ago||FWIW, NFL aren't as high on||
FWIW, NFL aren't as high on Peppers like you think they are. Adams and Hooker are likely to be the first two S off the board before Peppers. Both are proven and better at S than Peppers. Hooker has the highest ceiling of the three and has Ed Reed comp by NFL scouts

Taco is almost a lock to get drafted at 1st round but 2nd round is his floor. He is likely going to be the first Michigan player get drafted, not Peppers. As far as for Peppers, the projection is all over the place since NFL doesn't know what to do with him and he's likely a S which put him behind the 8 ball against Jamal Adams and Malik Hooker who certainly will be the first two S off the board.
Jourdan Lewis isn't getting drafted at 1st round and CB class is the best in recent memory. He's an undersized CB who will need to move to the nickel spot in the next level. Most likely at late 2nd to late 3rd depending on who you talk to.

Gedeon is kind of slow. He had trouble covering quicker RBs in space.
|1 week 4 days ago||Delano will be stuck behind||
Delano will be stuck behind the deepest S class in years.
Also, De'Veon also has a misfortune of being in the best RB class in years and he's likely a UDFA due to the depth of the class.
|1 week 4 days ago||Expecting a true freshman OL||
even if they're "ready" to play right away isn't always the best thing to do because they tend to struggle a lot. Bredeson was a mixed bag. He was solid and bad throughout the season.
I much rather not have a true freshman start at OL and Michigan is in trouble if that comes down to it.
