Drinking a Two Hearted.

This is so true. We are at the stage right now where they want to get into everything, only we have triplets. 21 months old, so when we go to restaurants, it's a fiasco. They do not want to sit in those damn high chairs, unless their food is in front of them. God I miss when we could take them out and they would just sleep through the meal. Hate to wish away their early years, but I can't wait until they can communicate better and handle a spoon and fork responsibly.

I'm from Ludington originally. Been to the Mitten once. Seemed like a decent place, from what I remember. I know it's pretty popular with locals and tourists alike. Enjoy the beach; should be one of the rare days where you may want to actually go in the water!

Awesome performance from Wagner, and I truly appreciate the stress-free 7th inning! 1-2-3

Charleston has my vote for best city in America. Cool downtown, great history, beautiful beaches, you got the market there, lots of cool shops and nice restaurants. Tough to beat.
|8 weeks 4 days ago||Similar experience||
I'm a teacher, and I've worked for a few different school districts. Most districts pay a standard step scale based on years experience and education level. Every school I've worked at paid me my correct salary according to my years and education. Two years ago, I interviewed for a job at a certain mid-Michigan school district. Later that day they called and offered me the position. I accepted the offer without even considering the salary; I knew it was a well regarded school and it was only 2 miles from my home, and my wife was pregnant with triplets so I thought it would be great to teach in the school district they would attend. A few days later, I go in to meet with HR to go over the contract, sign up for direct deposit, etc. and the HR guy shows me my salary: I'm at a first year teacher salary, even though I was going into my 6th year teaching. I asked him why I was not being compensated for my experience, and he said they hire all teachers at Step 1. I told him that I wasn't sure if I could take that significant of a pay cut from my current position, especially with 3 kids on the way. He said the best he could do would be Step 2. I asked him if I could talk it over with my wife and get back to him tomorrow. He said sure.

What do you mean about campus being laid out awkwardly? The campus is pretty much all together. Other than the football stadium being located about a mile or so off campus, I never found it to be an awkward layout.

We offered him and it seems like it came down to us vs them.

2nd place is a tie between a variety of Faygo flavors--cream soda, orange, red pop, grape.
Has anyone ever had A-Treat soda? From Allentown, PA. My wife introduced me to it. They just went out of business, very sad. It was kind of like their Faygo, only they had even more flavors.

Got it up to 110 mph on a rural stretch of US 31. Never ran good again after that and had to get rid of it.

MCC class of '03 here. We got to end Ludington's season twice in a row, in '02 and '03 in districts. Good times!
|15 weeks 2 days ago||First of all, Kaminsky is||
First of all, Kaminsky is 7'0, not 6'8 like Swanigan. Second, Kaminsky did next to nothing as a freshman, and steadily improved throughout his career, which is basically how I described what I think will happen with Swanigan (though not predicting a NPOY).
|15 weeks 3 days ago||Surprised by his ranking||
I remember watching his highlights a year ago when UM and State were both after him, and he didn't seem very impressive athletically. Fast forward a year, and I'm still not very impressed by him. He can barely dunk the ball, and he doesn't have great quickness in his post moves. He is a load at 260 lbs, but at 6'8 and a mediocre vertical, I don't see him being dominant. Someone mentioning Zach Randolph gave me a little concern because he does seem similar, but Randolph is an inch taller and has freaky long arms. I don't see Swanigan being a major impact guy next year, though I think he will be around for 3-4 years and eventually be a pain in the ass.

The wife and I took a cruise to those exact places (minus the Vatican, which I visited after high school) for our honeymoon. Mykonos was probably my favorite stop, just unbelievably beautiful. The gondolas in Venice are obviously super touristy, but it's still a cool experience.

Muppets should be reserved strictly for national championships. In revenue sports. And even then, only after a 50+ point victory. Over a historic rival.

Any more snow days from here on out and we have to make em up in June :(

Hoping for consecutive school cancellations due to wind chill.
|23 weeks 3 days ago||He's shooting 35% from three||
He's shooting 35% from three this year, which isn't horrific, but a good 7% down from last year. I know he hasn't had the same clean looks he got last year, but the fact remains he's not making them at the rate most expected. It seems to have affected his confidence, as he changes his release point and even how he holds it sometimes. You haven't noticed??

Irvin's shot looks so broken. I mean, it's always been weird looking, but now it's different every time he releases.

Does Hatch's scholarship go against our limit? I know he was offered a scholarship and Beilein honored it, but I thought I had read somewhere that down the road there might be a way for it to not count against the 13?

I thought this was one of his better games. No turnovers (that I recall) and no missed FG's.

I'm fairly certain that OSU is the last game of the season. It may even be tradition, or something.

Maynard Keenan--pride of Scottville, Michigan! Went to my HS, though I believe we're separated by 20-25 years. I actually got to hang out at his parents' house, where they have a platinum album hanging on the wall. Cool story, bro!

I was a student during Baas' senior year in 2004, so he was a junior in 2003. Also, I had a history class with Stenavich in 2004, and he was a junior (making him a Soph in 2003). Finally, Adam Kraus was good, but I don't think he could pull off being a junior in '06 and a sophomore in 2011.

Jabrill was looking damn sloppy in that first pic. They've worked wonders with him!
|1 year 1 week ago||I was in attendance||
I got to witness that beautiful kicking display. I was living in Columbia, SC at the time, and in an effort to see some of the iconic venues of CFB, I decided to make the 4 hour trek. One of the most boring games I've ever witnessed, until the last minute, of course. Was pretty cool to see Lane Stadium go nuts after they scored.
