Whether it effected the win % or not, the bottom line is that the offensive playcalling and execution in the 2nd half did not match the first half. Both the offense and the defense took the proverbial foot off the gas. Did it end up mattering no, but it could have. The opportunity was left open by the team/coaches relaxing and playing more conservatively than previously.
It's not the first game of the year that's it's happened. We've gone run, run, run, punt before with chance to deliver a death knell
With all due respect to Mr. Baumgardner, if you have 3 TEs on the field, or 2 TEs and a FB and the opponent responds with 8 defenders that is NOT a stacked box.
Michigan invited more defenders into the box via it's own personel. If UCF put 8-9 defenders into the box against 3 WR, then I`ll concede they sold out to stop the run.
Some simple fact checking is in order. Florida had at least 3 kids in the 2013 class alone with Michigan offers
Alex Anzalone, Alvin Bailey and Vernon Hargreaves III
You may want to use more than Scout.com to check offers. Whether you consider those head to head match up is debatable but it seems little disingenous not to include all kids if you're listing "team x commits with Michigan offer"
