I dont think you're crazy at

I dont think you're crazy at all. I commented a similar theory on the 'hello: kaleb ringer' post...Hoke's emphasis on a fullback begs the notion of one of these surplus of linebackers embracing the coaches passion for the resurgence of Michigan smashmouth football. It's refreshing to see we all on this site are on board (despite most of our disdain for the hire) like we were for RR, regardless of those who said the tradition was lost in him. By default, Hoke's vision is our vision.

Basketball for me this year

Basketball for me this year has been the best it has been in A LOONG time cheering for TWO "butterflies" in D-Mo and D-Rose

Me also being a Braves (and Cowboys) fan should give awat that I grew up in the nineties. I'm not at the point of dread just yet...baseball season is hardly interesting before the all star break outside of fantasy tracking. As good as the Braves can be, the Phillies are becoming the NL East Yankees. It's just too hot in the A in the summertime to consistently sell out the Braves. I will never attend a 1 o'clock game at Turner again in July. Summer sucks as far as sports entertainment...unless I'm golfing.

terific post! i cant

terific post! i cant wait...hoke/mattison defense will be playing like dreads on fire by then and bball should be a top 3 team in the conference next year along with minn and osu.  every other team loses multiple significant contributors. osu with craft, thomas and other top flights waiting in the wings will be a force to be reckoned with, but by november we could be poised for conference title runs in both hoops and turf

That was the shot Mo. Nothin

That was the shot Mo. Nothin to be ashamed of... you and all the guys were terrific! Michigan fans deserved that ride, we enjoyed it, and you guys worked hard for it!! GO BLUE

Top assist man on the Vols

Top assist man on the Vols averages 2.9. This means all their scoring comes from Hopson one on one's and their length inside. Harris isn't that big, so this should be a welcome sight after facing the Illini front line and Sully last game. I expect to see a lot more zone than we have seeing as how this isn't an assist oriented team, and only Hopson has a respectable 3pt %. The vols are a young team also. With young teams, coaching is a huge factor. Advantage MICH. Beilein will have those kids running around screens trying to get out on threes. If we can knock em down, we can break their backs in the second half with pick n rolls and good ol' smash mouth, big ten defense.

My homer bracket has MICH beating Tenn, Duke, AND Arizona, before falling to one of the 4 big east teams I have in the final four. Probably a more likely scenario for next years team, but March is all about this madness

I was born at OSU Medical

I was born at OSU Medical Center in 1983 and couldn't like the bucks any less, or love MICH anymore. Living in this town makes me appreciate the simple amicable nature of the people in AA, and its fall beauty, all the more every time I visit for a game. Went to hs with Archie's nephew, whose parents finally stopped forcing him to play football after his sophomore year, and Lawrence Reid, and watched Trey Burke play since he was in ms. I shop at walmart and am one of the most proud UM fans a buckeye could ever meet

No question that Hardaway is

No question that Hardaway is THE biggest reason MBB is likely dancing. This is D-Mo's team, but during the stretch that catipulted them to where they are, Hardaway was running the show, plays were called FOR HIM, over and over in the second half of important games (all were). I live in Columbus, and hardly that much can be said for Craft but he is a heck of a player, plays with that same arrogance as a freshman that we've enjoyed Timmy displaying and carrying us at times in his first year. OSU being the best team in the country (arguably, but most weeks at number one all year), Sully up for other awards, Craft's work is conspicuous, politics, he gets it
