Occasionally, I think about complaining that we haven't gotten a Hello thread for Tyrece Evans or something like that. Then I remember that I don't pay a dime for the best college team site on the internet, and I have to remind myself to shut my pie hole and be happy.
ESPN hasn't fired everyone yet. TomVH is still working there. He's national now I think, which pretty much has made his information so watered down that I have come close to unfollowing him on Twitter (gasp).
I honestly hardly pay attention to whoever is making any comment, and I have an internal ignore button that allows me to not pay attention to silly things posted on the internet.
She had a hard time saying that Eminem is not a singer, but feels like he is one of the few rap artists that is doing it well enough to fall into that category.
I didn't question his talent. Just if he can be called a "singer".
Speech to song illusion is a real thing though. Michigan Daily had an article a couple months ago about Mr. Brightside that mentioned it. I don't think anyone would say that Brandon wasn't singing in that song.
I guess this brings up the question of what is the definition of singing? Spoken word to music could be considered that I guess. That would make William Shatner a singer too.
Obviously the play was legal. But when the referees with their yellow flags and 15 yard penalities tell the players not to do something, usually the players are going to listen. If a player gets flagged for doing something the refs had told him not to do, people would be taking shots at the player for being an idiot and not listening to the refs.
RR said that the officials told Arizona players not to rush because Purdue was kneeling. RR felt the play should not have counted because of that. I agree with RR. The officials helped Purdue on that play, unintentionally, but that doesn't matter.
That play is going to change how kneeling at the end of halfs is dealt with by defenses in the future.
I hate it when stores have loud music playing. Why?
Also, I've walked by some stores that had a heavy perfume/cologne smell coming out of their doors. I have yet to go in one of these stores. Do they smell like that on purpose?
Is there anything else going on with 2018 recruiting? It seems really quiet even considering there are only 6 or 7 more slots remaining.
The only 2018 recruit mentioned in this update is speculating that someone might think about flipping their commitment. There was more on a 2020 recruit.
I have an irrational hatred of Bayern due to them essentially being the NY Yankees of the Bundesliga. They have more money than any other club. They spend much more money than any other club. They essentially win the Bundesliga every summer during the transfer season by buying their competitors best players. Rooting for them is like rooting for the neighborhood rich kid in the "who's dad has more money" contest. Fuck Bayern.
I'm pretty sure that BVB is trying to become less of a seller and more of a team that pays the players they develop, and pays for talented youngsters. They did pay to bring in Dembele.
I don't think anyone there is satisfied with being 2nd to Bayern, even if they have a massive monetary advantage. Teams caught up to the Yankees as well.
Dembele needs to stay at Dortmund. I finally have a club team that I have actually become a fan of, and I want Dembele to stay there. The young core that BVB has is going to be great in a few years. Obviously, Dembele is a huge part of that.
I had just put her comments in a vacuum, which was, of course she's going to say that, she's trying to get parents to let their daughters go play for her. Didn't factor in everything else and the whole punching parents in the face thing.
I figured she would have said something like that by now. Has she?
Honestly, I haven't been following the Baylor situation. I know that they had a system that their prominent athletes did pretty much whatever they wanted and got protected, and that it is all coming down around them now.
I don't think this comment is tone deaf or anything else like that. It should have been expected.
The person who gets paid because parents send their talented basketball playing daughters to her school needs to say something when those parents don't want to send their talented basketball playing daughters to her school.
I stopped reading that article when he said Michigan has "no returning wide receiver making at least 15 catches in 2015". Jehu and Amara. You can throw in Jake too.
Edit: I posted this comment before I looked at the article again. He corrected his mistake, sometime after I posted the same comment above in the discussion area.
I received two "Go Blue" greetings today in Germany (I was wearing my Michigan hat). You can tell that Michigan football has returned by the amount of times I hear "Go Blue" over here. One of my Warrant Officers even uses "Go Blue" now instead of the standard greeting.
They won't even let offensive lineman use their hands to block anymore. They pretty much have to stand a parade rest and try to make the d-line go around them.
If they had officers on the team that played, they don't talk about it for some reason. (This might have something to do with the football team being 44-133 this century).

Mike was listed in the Losers section of the Winners and Losers from Day 1. His testing numbers are near the bottom of all DL and LBs.
Granted, as MCDC says, you grade off tape. He could still be a solid pro. But your title doesn't say that.
Mike had a bad day at the combine.

So, you win. Eminem is a singer.
I didn't question his talent. Just if he can be called a "singer".

I guess that could apply to rap artists as well.

I agree with all 3 of your choices as far as great singers, especially Maynard.
As much as I love Led Zepelin, I would put them in the same category that you put Queen in that you had an issue with.
Whitney could wail.
With Eminem, that brings up the question, is this top 3 singers, or top 3 muscial artists?
I'm pretty sure I've never heard Eminem sing.
Freddie Mercury.
*Edit. Forgot 2 and 3.
2. Etta James
3. Can't decide at this time. Marvin Gaye? Amy Lee?

I'm adding Sprite to my beer tonight because it is really hot today (about 90 in SE Arizona) and the local stores don't sell a Radler.
Couldn't help but notice that boy had a lot of quit in him against Hayes.

Neymar going to PSG isn't going to help BVB hold on to him. I'm hoping he stays. Barca might make the godfather offer to get him though.

I was classmates with his less famous pen pal, Sarah York.
I went to school with Manuel Noriega's pen pal. That would probably be the most famous person I've known or talked to for more than 10 seconds.

That is the only pro sports rivalry I can think of that actually compared to a college rivalry.
They seriously hated each other.

I live in Germany, but paid in dollars, so I'm just watching the exchange rate drop and giggling a little.
The whole area is beautiful, and this town right on the lake is pretty much the cherry on top.
My wife and I are vacationing in Tromso, Norway this winter. Really hoping to get some good northern lights views.

It's always fun beating the bosses though.
I think this game is the perfect example of why enlisted personnel always beat the officers in the Turkey Bowl.
What about the guys from Michigan? I didn't see any of them on your list. It seems like this would be a game they would go to.
