Jansen was the closer last season even after the Dodgers acquired League, then in late August Kenley's heart condition reared its ugly head and they went with League and appear to be staying that course. I think it has more to do with them liking Jansen's stuff in the eighth inning than being enamored with League in the ninth. I'd throw Aroldis into the mix as "surefire" -- ditto Jim Johnson, Papelbon, and Soriano (has always been fantastic when given the chance to be the closer). Anyway, I hate Valverde's "look-at-me-I-need-attention-to-feed-my-stupid-ego" antics, but if he pitches in the ninth and the Tigers don't lose, that's all I care about. |

They've made it way too complicated, including a button of combination of buttons for every little thing. A couple of months ago my stepbrother and I tried playing a few games of NHL '12 I think it was ... every game ended up 2-1 or 1-0 because we had no idea what we were doing. This included a real gem that went to a shootout which lasted, and I wish were kidding because this is just pathetic, 32 rounds before I mercifully scored. On second thought it could just be that I suck at hockey games. |

From there on out the margin hovered around 20 until the very late stages where the Wildcats made some meaningless baskets against the end of Michigan's bench to make the end result look like less of a bludgeoning. Make no mistake, though, Michigan dominated Kansas State in nearly every facet. |
