The last time (2013) just about made me question what the hell I was doing with my life.

Good luck. If you park in the grass area be prepared to spend 60-90 minutes in your car going absolutely nowhere after the game.

The Big Ten office would have you believe Penn State. Common sense would tell you no one.
Maybe Monmouth? Fairleigh Dickinson? Bergen Community College?

You scheduled an appointment on the afternoon of The Game? Yeah, probably shouldn't have done that.

VT has been on a downward trend for a couple of years now. Some new blood might rejuvenate that program.

Methodically defeated Memphis, lost a tough one to Duke, then crushed UCLA in the third place game.

An especially big thank you to my grandfather, stepfather, uncle, several cousins and friends.

If they are truly committed to him being the long-term coach at Minnesota, then why wouldn't they give him at least a four year deal? Put in a low buyout in the event he isn't cut out for head coaching duties and call it a day.

That may just be a placeholder, though I wouldn't be surprised with MSU/OSU the same day.

I looked right at his name on the GVSU roster and decided to call him Brian.

He was wearing GVSU garb which had me confused, but now it all makes sense.

Is Hackenberg a lock to go pro after this season? I know he only has two interceptions but aside from last week against Illinois he has looked nothing like an NFL quarterback.

GVSU has a Brian Morris from Warren DLS who looks just like Shane.

I swear I saw Shane walking around the tailgate area at GVSU during the Michigan bye week. Unfortunately no one else in my group is as big of a Michigan as myself so I wasn't able to get any kind of corroboration, just puzzled looks as I asked, "Is that Shane Morris?!"

Apparently on a trial basis this season I was told. Based on their level of play I'd say it's a requirement.
Previously I thought it was only allowed at off campus stadiums but that is obviously not the case.

Not sure why the scoreboard is off-center.
It was pretty cool being able to look over the edge of the second deck and see the Minnesota campus and some of the buildings from downtown Minneapolis.

US Bank Stadium looks awesome up close. The Green and Blue lines share a train stop right next to the stadium and it is quite an impressive sight. The glass look on the side is really cool.
|3 weeks 3 days ago||TCF Bank Stadium experience||
Getting to the stadium was easy (doubly easy for me since I stayed at the hotel across the street). Minnesota fans are very polite and friendly. Most expected Michigan to run them out of the building before the game (I am starting to get very wary of hearing that!) and were very complimentary of Harbaugh.
The stadium is very aesthetically pleasing from the outside -- love the brick and arches. The concourse was a complete trainwreck, though. I was in the section 201 next to the jumbotron (that I never got to see) and in order to get to the men's bathroom you had to fight through lines for two different concession stands, leaving around three feet of room between the end of the lines and the edge of concourse. Needless to say, I didn't get to take a piss at halftime because I was unwilling to miss the start of the third quarter.
The fireworks show after the game was really impressive. Considering the outcome and how that outcome came to be, I noticed a lot of Michigan fans watching and not many Gophers. Poor Goldy.
The PA announcer was pretty annoying. It always amuses me when opposing announcers go bananas over each first down. The "WOO!!" sound they kept playing after a big play could not have been more infuriating. The guy who turns off the piped-in music fell asleep at the wheel one time and let the music play probably two seconds after the snap. Yet another Big Ten stadium that would rather blare music like a minor league hockey team than use their band. I know Michigan plays their share of PIM but they still use the band quite a bit. Minnesota's band pretty much sat on their instruments.
