You know I love you WD but is this the 15th or 16th thread you've created since you announced you wouldnt have time to create threads anymore?

Looks to me like the Army Air Corp is showing up in AA on Saturday - that's freaking awesome. FWIW - my dad was an airplane mechanic in WWII and was stationed in Northern Africa & Italy (and even served under Patton for a short time) working on P40's before we came back stateside and went to U of M Dental School - Class of 1950.
|13 hours 27 min ago||In fairness to the OP it's||
In fairness to the OP it's really not that stupid of a question although perhaps he should've asked "Is Utah Hoke's most important game so far?" Clearly it's not the biggest from a rivalry, B1G standing or Bowl perspective but it just might be his most important.
Win it and he's 3-1 out of conference with a clear path to 5-1 going into MSU. Fans will be reasonably happy (or as happy as this fan base can be right now) and we'll prolly see the attendance issue go away to a great extent.
Lose it however and a whole different picture emerges. 2-2 out of conference means the media will be all over him (and the players) and the entire "hot seat" talk escalates to a whole new level. Attendance probably suffers and talk of empty seats and unhappy fans dominate the media narrative.
So is it his biggest? Absolutely not. Is it his most important? Probably yes unitl the MSU game. FWIW I think we win it 40-27.

I'd sure as hell hire him for an open sales position. My guess is he'd have no issues getting past the gatekeepers with that background.

Thank you. Although I would strongly suggest people NOT click on that link if they're in the least bit hungry or trying to lose weight. Looking at all three recipes images on the same page is quite tempting.

Not sure whose idea this feature was but it's freaking awesome. I really look forward to these every week. Might I suggest though we start a separate file in either Usefull Stuff or MgoBoard so that people can reference them without having to do a search to find one's previously posted?
Perhaps mGoRecipes or mGoGrilling?

Fourth failed test results in having to sit on the "time out" step at Urban's house for two hours and write "I will not do bad drugs anymore" 100 times on his basement blackboard.
Fifth failed test results in three week suspension from all off-season competition. All of it. No matter how important the activity might be - he can do NONE of the competition for three solid weeks (in the off-season)
Sixth failed test results in HELLO Josh Gordon!

Good thing he goes to OSU then so the first item on your list of daily activites won't take much time or effort to complete.

Lol-so it's a tie (so to speak). BTW - I really like your contributions to the board. You really add a lot to the discussions wen you're engaged.

Reader-what years did u play? You seem like your my era so I'm wondering if you played under Bo.

"Hurry it up or grind it out? Very much hurry it up. Utah routinely got snaps off with 20+ seconds remaining on the play clock against Fresno State, and the only huddles occurred during timeouts. They're close to Indiana fast."
Whew that's a relief. If there's one thing that Michigan has historically been able to stop dead in its tracks it's a high-tempo, spread offense that's for sure.
FWIW I still think we win by two TDs but it's gonna be something like 40-27.
|1 day 11 hours ago||I will be prolly be too damn||
I will be prolly be too damn old to turn on the fucking TV by then or even understand what is going on if I do.
On the bright side we'll probably have invented time travel and those Jetson cars that fly through the air by then so there's that.
|1 day 12 hours ago||The only assumption I am||
The only assumption I am making is that the "source" isnt lying about the content of the texts between Peterson and babymomma. If they're accurate Peterson himself acknowledges he was responsible for it.
The source provided a string of text messages allegedly exchanged between the Peterson and the boy's mother. They contain numerous grammatical errors:
Mother : "What happened to his head?
Peterson: "Hit his head on the Carseat".
Mother "How does this happen, he got a whoopin in the car"
Peterson: "I felt so bad. But he did it his self."
The text messages go on to show Peterson saying he was disciplining his son for cussing to a sibling. Also in the text messages, the mother asks "What did you hit him with?"
Peterson never answers directly but writes "be still n (and) take ya (your) whopping, he would have saved the scare (scar). "He's aight (all right)."
The exchange continued:
Mother: "I'm real sensitive about my baby and him being hit."
Peterson: "You tripping if you want him, come get him. I'm not about to be getting questioned down like you (you're) CPS."

I agree with everything Jalen said too. I just wish he'd have said it directly to C-Webb, privately, and not through a Detroit News reporter.
|1 day 12 hours ago||His future will be as bright||
His future will be as bright as someone's can be given that he'll most likely have to muddle through on the 18-20MM he'll undoutably get as the first pick in the NFL draft next year.
How long he'll last in the NFL however is another question altogeher.

|1 day 12 hours ago||Agreed. But I wonder what||
Agreed. But I wonder what the response would be if the question was asked "Is it ok to open head wounds on a 4 year old when disciplining them" or "Is it acceptable to split open a four year old boy's scrotum when discipline is being applied?" Adrain Peterson DID NOT SPANK HIS KIDS. He whipped one with a stick and opened up over ten wounds and did God know's what to split the other child's head open.
I'll bet 81% of the American public wouldnt support that.
|1 day 14 hours ago||You're obviously not a PSU||
You're obviously not a PSU fan. From their perspective St Joe was trying (oh so hard was he trying) to do the right thing. Deeply troubled to his very soul, Joe was baffled by the outlandish claims made by his assistant - I mean who has ever heard of such a thing? Joe - and Joe alone stood tall, told his supervisor and felt just TERRIBLE that the people he trusted to act didn't do it.
How can you possibly blame such a saintly man?
|1 day 14 hours ago||The Vikings hand got forced||
The Vikings hand got forced when the pics of the second boy surfaced the night AFTER their first reverse. Seeing a child with a visable head wound, coupled with the texts between he and babymomma #something was pretty damning.
I'm a father of four and I can tell you without a shadow of doubt that there is absolutely no situation on this earth that would warrant giving a four year old boy a fucking head wound as punishment. None.
Sorry Adrian....you most definitely ARE a child abuser.
|2 days 3 hours ago||Personally I'm quite||
Personally I'm quite encouraged by the line so far. We knew going in it would be a work in process (and it is) but it's getting better. Assaignments seem to be missed less, TFLs are happening less frequently and holes are being opened. I liked what I saw in Green last week and think he too is learning and improving.
I expect them to continue to improve through the course of the year and that's what virtually everybody said they wanted to see this year. Improvement. I fully expect that we will show even more improvement this Saturday and will win by a couple of touchdowns.
This is a young team that's getting better and will keep getting better IMO.

I have to call bias on this one Space. Here's the breakdown of what's on the board as we speak:
Front Page - Brian linked 14 articles
0 could be considered positive to Michigan
0 could be considered negative to Michigan (although 11 of the 14 could be considered negative to the subject matter)
14 neutral to Michigan
Side Board - 15 Threads up
7 positive: Miller, Novak, AA happy, UM standing, Wallmart Wolverine, Power Rank, Hurst at FB
3 negative: Tempo slow, Cole Suspended, Bowl prediction
5 neutral: Closer look at Utes, Michigan Monday, Fake Punt, Last non-televised game & Minni start time
I think perception is reality. It's really not that bad.
|2 days 11 hours ago||I agree. I wonder if Hoke||
I agree. I wonder if Hoke circa 2011 would even recognize the current version.
The guy who "pooped gold" was a hellof lot more fun both on the field and off.
|2 days 12 hours ago||You only snark the ones you||
You only snark the ones you love.
Don't forget I predicted Michigan would go 10-3, losing all three rivalry road games and winning the rest and our mid-tier, New Year's bowl game.
We're three games in and so far my prediction is holding. And, all snark aside, I'll take that as a good year despite the frustrations the three losses will bring.
|2 days 13 hours ago||I think the only way the||
I think the only way the spread punt formation would be introduced under Hoke's command would be if somebody invented a time machine and had Michigan, circa 1996, put that baby in the arsenal.
Back to the future.

No don't cease. I would far rather read your synopsis than click through to their site.
|3 days 2 hours ago||I couldnt not watch it over||
I couldnt not watch it over and over and over. The "fake dead guy" might be the most hilariously ridiculous thing I've ever seen actually run in a game.
And to think they must've actually PRACTICED that play. Can you image the HC?
NO DAMMIT - RUN THE FUCKING THING AGAIN. YOU HAVE TO 'SELL' THAT YOUR DEAD - IT BARELY LOOKED LIKE YOU WERE EVEN SICK!
|3 days 3 hours ago||Amen brother. We need to||
Amen brother. We need to maintain our strict policy of being complete assholes to each other and not ever, under any circumstances, saying anything that could be construed as "nice" or "uplifting" in any way. No comments should be made that could result in a fellow poster ever feeling good about themselves no matter how informative or helpful they might be.
I'll go first.
|3 days 4 hours ago||While I dont know the answer||
While I dont know the answer to your question I do know that back in the Paleozoic era when I was in school there were limits on how often a team could appear on TV in a given year. Once. That was it until 1977 - you got to see your team once a year on TV and once only. And until 1981 all games were on ABC except for the bowl games.
I dont remember ever seeing a Michigan - Michigan State game on TV because ABC usually waited for the OSU game to televise us. Man have times changed (for the extreme better BTW).
|3 days 8 hours ago||Jeebus. What goes through these guys' heads???||
|3 days 9 hours ago||Let's be honest here - that||
Let's be honest here - that match-up, as much as we might hate it, would be ratings heaven for any bowl able to pull it off. And if we're facing Arizona in anything other than the Rose Bowl it will be a pretty crappy bowl game that would kill for the ratings that game will generate.
And we thought Appy State II was a bad idea.....that game (if it actually happens) will generate so much buzz it will take on a life of its own.
