One amazing game. I love me some pop but not having Duncan on the floor the last two possessions in regulation killed the spurs. |

Damn you're right! I knew he was a persona of someone else and not an old guy as advertised. He still might be RDT, WIAB and the random recruiting-loving hot chick however. I honestly dont get the multiple screen name thing at all. It seems like a lot of work to create a person and then have to remember what that person is like when answering. And posting on a blog should be anything BUT work to me. |

I will also take the under. As a matter of fact I'd bet that Herm is actually just another manifestation of the WIAB, RDT and the hot chick who just happens to like Michigan (forgot that one's name it came and went so quickly). Just like WIAB was all about his kids & recruiting, RDT was all about Alabama and the hot chick was....well.....lets just say she knew too much about recruiting to be a real hot chick, Herm sounds like someone who is young thinks old people talk like. I should know. I AM old. |

I feel stupid too. I don't know who Steve Lorenz or George Campbell is either. And who exactly is "Sparty"? Do they have a recruiting coordinator with that name? |

I predict the NCAA is not going to take anymore of these shenanigans lying down. That this IT by God and they've had enough and they're not taking it anymore. That the book, the ban hammer and all sorts of mighty pestilence, hellfire and brimstone will be called down upon UNC this time. |

For whatever reason Michigan receivers have not fared all that well when selected high in the draft. Howard, Terrell & Edwards all went high and none came close to living up to their performance in college. |

Um.......my guess is that after last Saturday David Terrell's testicles are about the LAST thing on Jay Cutler's mind right about now.

Oh the heck with sports. Let's talk about hunting and thrill of the kill as I KNOW that's a subject you hold near and dear to your heart. Last year I knocked down a magnificent 8 point up near Alpena that I'm having mounted and just this past weekend I grilled up some of the back straps and they were delicious! Now my question to you Ghost is do you prefer a 30:06 as I do or a 30:30? And when field dressing do you have any tips for proper removal of the organs (messy as hell as I'm sure you know). And do you marinate the meat before cooking or just dress with a little salt and pepper? |

| 1 week 1 day ago | It was better...WAY better. |
It was better...WAY better. If somebody posted something really great or funny every single vote "counted" and your points could soar. And conversely if you posted something really stupid or out of bounds then the masses would take care of your punishment, not the mods. In essence the entire board acted as moderators instead of just a couple of people. Mods still existed when somebody got waaaay out bounds (looking at you Ghost) but for the most part they were un-needed as the board collective would met out carrots or sticks without parental approval needed.

Amen brother. It would seem the only people who dont think so are the leaders of the site itself. And the promise to restore during the off-season seems to be dwindling. |
| 1 week 5 days ago | Like The Knowledge I live |
The truth can now be told. The reason I look so shocked in this picture is that Tressel had just confided in me that he had been asked to take over the OSU President's job should Gee have to leave. He asked me to keep that news on the DL though so I couldnt post it until now.

I was there too and while it may have "embolded" their fan base the fan base doesnt recruit or play in any of the games. I am hard-pressed to come up with players or coaches that would've not attended OSU if we win in 2001. Now...if we're going to replay the 2001 game with different QB can we make Marquis Walker hold on to the damn ball in the endzone? |

"We'd have probably won the Big Ten in 2001 and beaten Tressel in his first matchup, and who knows from there on." I do.....we'd have gone 2-8 instead of 1-9 against him. |

You know i've been THINKING THE EXACT SAME THING recently and by recently I mean the nano-seconds after I read what you wrote. So maybe you wrote it first and maybe I thought it first and then you stole my thought and then wrote it to take credit for my thoughts. Mmmmmhmmmm. Exactly. And don't think I havent told just about everybody i know about your thought stealing to put them on notice to keep you from raiding their brain too. |
| 1 week 6 days ago | We completely agree with you. |
We completely agree with you. The fact that anyone would question Lebron or any other NBA star who may appear slightly shall we say "overdeveloped" as being anything other than the result of hard work and good, healthy diet is EXTREMELY offensive and insulting. |
| 2 weeks 9 hours ago | My guess would be cause the |
My guess would be cause the Columbus Dispatch and the Cleveland Plain Dealer, unlike the Freep, actually think reporting stuff that makes the state's flagship university look bad is not good for business. For some unexplained reason they believe down here that embarrasing and generally pissing off their readers by reporting stuff like Gee said is not an effective way to build a customer base. Go figure. |

| 2 weeks 12 hours ago | I dont live in Michigan |
I dont live in Michigan anymore but I will never "forgive and forget" the Freep for their blatant attempt to destroy something I care deeply about for reasons only they can fathom. Furthermore I think that any business (and I do mean ANY business) that basically declares war on 50% of their potential customers (assuming the M/MSU fandom split with Freep readers to be equal for the purposes of this post only) is so stupid and mis-managed that corporate death would be doing them a favor. I said it in 2009 and I'll say it now. Anybody working at a newspaper has the same future job security that people working in print everywhere face and at the end of the day all the parties who conspired to write the hachet job will be out of their chosen line of work sooner rather than later. Maybe they can all find gainful employment working as a railroad conductor or travel agent or perhaps selling yellow page ads. I'm sure technology advancements cant touch them there. |

Man I miss the days when a post on Alabama would hit the board and good old RDT would chime in with his SEC "expertise". That type of insider knowledge is just hard for the board to replace. |
